Nope. Only the legitimate - that is, born in wedlock - descendants of Electress Sophia of Hanover are in the line of succession. As Abigail is descended from illegitimate offspring of a king, she doesn't qualify. (Same with David Cameron and Boris Johnson, who are also descended from illegitimate royal offspring, and are not in the line of succession.)

No the line only counts legitimate descendents, that is born within recognized marriage by church and monarch. And as it was said here the illegimate stuart heir. So that wouldn't count. And also the line itself start with Sophia and Hannover and her legitimate descendants, whatever family before here and their potential descendant doesn't matter in that sense.

@Drink Water Well, if you like traveling around the world and whatnot with the one you love, never having to worry whether you're gonna have enough money till the next month, then it's easy to see why you'd sign up for it, no? I think most royals are pretty normal people, nowadays they're encouraged to start benefits for poor people around the globe, set up trade organisations, yadda yadda. The only difference being that they descend from actual kings and queens of past days, which is why they can still claim this title. as long as people still find some value in that, it's not gonna go away that soon. I'm pretty doubtful about the continuation of the Belgian royal family though. Our current king and queen have expressed their wishes for their children to have normal lives and whatever career they choose for themselves. Can a king or queen actually suspend the throne? I'd think that's pretty cool, actually. To donate the country to its citizens.
