As an italian main, I appreciate your respect to soulless people like me.

As an Italy main who has played since the nation released on the game, I will loyally play Italy to spite Gaijin. Our planes may be the slowest, our tanks the weakest, we may be punished and beaten down by the Big Three, unwelcomed by the rest, but we will not be broken! 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

Don't forget the OTOMATIC, Italy's TOP TIER SPAA is at a higher BR than the 2s6 tunguska yet has half the effective range.

The Italian bomber tree cuts off at 3.7 not even any copy paste just straight dies

As an italian main, there are legitimately a ton of things they could add/fix to make it better. Especially in the aviation tree. Its quite dissappointing that they don't even try to add these things.

I'm a "German main" apparently despite having enjoyed Italy back when the CL round that they all "start with" had 615mm pen BEFORE the Leopard 2A6 had the Dm53. I LOVED Italy because the Centauro 120 was amazing to play, it was fast, hard hitting and just overall amazing to play with yet suddenly "wind" was the reason they got nerfed (don't believe me? Go look back when their shell got nerfed before others got added). Now the Spikes don't even work correctly because you have to see the drivers port (aim at a Russian or American take from the side and shoot, 9/10 times that missile will go for the drivers port) so their "special tank" they got just didn't really support them all that much. Italy used to be such an amazing and hilarious nation nation to play because they were the absolute KINGS of Glass Cannons, that's why I loved them and enjoyed them so much; now look at the husk of what used to be one of the most amazing nations to play.

Gib Draco SPAA. Gib B2 Centauro. Gib P.43 (I'd rather have paper tanks than no tanks.) Gib Ariete AMV the ability to mount both the WAR and PSO kits simultaneously. Gib Romanian subtree. Gib Hungarian subtree. Gib premium Spanish Leopard 2

I have always loved Italy, the names, voice lines, the looks and plenty of other factors that keep me playing Italy. Couple years later here I am with all branches completed and almost every vehicle spaded. One of my biggest gripes is even the playerbase has told me to pipe down when I would complain about the 104s fighting the mig 29 and f14 and tell me the 104 is sooooo good. You cannot even have a gun and radar missiles for christ sake. God I am gonna cut my rant here I have so much anger pent up and this video I feel so much dude. Also why tf doesn't the radar fold down anymore!

I think the single worst part for ground would be the mid teir gaps, and the Arietes, which are way higher in BR than they should, with the only one in a decent spot being the Prototype. Not only that when the WAR armor kit came out for the standard Ariete, i saw a bug report where the WAR kit, dispite being designed specifically to counter kenetic rounds, their KE protection was equivilent to Kontakt-1, hell, the PSO kit, the kit designed to counter chemical rounds does a better job at stopping KE rounds than war, but Gaijins reaction to this bug report was literally "not enough evidence, sorry" On top of that, the IVECO/OTO-MELARA website, and a few other sources, state that composite armor is present in the hull, and yet thats not enough evidence either... plus them refusing to add the WAR/PSO combo to the AMV even though that was one of the main reasons Italy gave it a better engine and wider tracks Ive even tested this, and found the Type 10... the fucking Type 10 MBT which prioritiezed light weight and mobility over armor, could tank rounds significantly better than Ariete at its stronger points Just sad man

As a Japanese main I have a lot of solidarity for the singular tech tree that is neglected more than mine. Japan suffers but at least has a light at the end of the tunnel with the type 90 and type 10. I shed a tear for the Italians who suffer, only to suffer.

As an Italian main, my soul has been pain, everything is grey and sad, and the F16 has given me false hope. Save me

G.91 Y and YS are at high BR’s cause people keep playing to their strengths and turn fight them. Additionally prior to F-104S getting flares it it was equally to the F-104G. But flares pushed it in BR.

The good thing is that our zoomers are playing the game at super hard mode, and they have to struggle more than others to win. Meaning we are training future super soldiers because gaejin is unfair

I've been playing this game seriously since the last months of 2020. I've mained Italy almost all the time (now researching JP but that's another story). I've never seen anything good come out of Gaijin for our tree. It's kind of sad as an Italian, but the worst part is that anyone who plays this tree, will be at an incredible disadvantage. This is because the few good vehicles in the game are buried under overtiered stuff, missing BR's, POSSIBLE vehicles that they would never add and incredibly unfair mechanics. Think of the CL-13. It's not incredible, but it had at least 6 other variants that could be implemented in one way or another. Now I'm not saying they should add every single variant of that thing, but it's 6 possible new things that they did not care for. I'm sad for Gaijin not being capable enough to manage something like this lol

u repersent me and all the italy main out there, it truly a harsh and difficult tech tree to grind and the stuff init isnt that interesting as well. Saying all this as an italy main myself, hurt very deep but it's just the fact. Thank you tho, for sharing ur experience of playing the italian to the others people out there and hopfully gaijin can watch this and rethink about the nation

Thank you finally someone will actually stand up for us Italian mains Edit: Italy on console still doesn’t have a premium helicopter. And also with the new BR decomp update around the corner. They’re probably gonna find a way to make everything worse for Italy. I’m betting that every single vehicle past rank five is going to go up a BR bracket or two.

If they add like... other mediterranean nations tanks, like the Leo 2E from Spain (They added the Centauro, so...) maybe top tier Italy would be nice.

Considering they are one of if not the most fun trees in game its a shame the amount of hate they get, from the snail

As an Italian, I started to play Italy when it didn't even had a ground tree. I remember at the begging how much every one liked Italy: it was the first nation to basically introduce wheel tanks to the game, so it offered a very different play style. But the more we go forward the more a thing that Gajin purposely hates Italy: they realized how many player it could have potentially:"stolen" from the big 3 (and I guess consequentially all the money coming from that) so they just let Italy a second thought. I hope that if Gajin is really going through a "reform" or whatever after the review bombing, they will also improve Italy

italy is one of the few tech tree's i've grinded through without premiums, mostly because their sub 9.0 are kindah fun to play (im also not top tier im at like 9.3) but sometimes its really a slauch, and dont get me started on the aircraft like you said, i dont even bother grinding air or helos on italy

Italian navy was hard but i had a good time around br 5 give or take a br. The guns do a lot of damage

You also forgot that the italian blue water fleet has coded in the WORST dispersion multiplier in game i swear i've never seen two shots from the same turret land almost 1km apart from each other, and none of them hit the target

I played Italy when I was through with the German ground, air and helicopter trees and it was like someone had set the game to hardcore. It was even worse than Japan, whose tree I'm currently playing through. In my opinion, the only really good line-up is on 10.0 with the Ariete C1, the Dardo with both 25mm and 30mm cannon, the Freccia and the 10.0 helicopter, which at least already has Hellfire ATGMs and is therefore really strong, especially in down tier battles. As far as CAS is concerned, however, apart from the Tornado and the g91, everything is bad and that's why I don't have any CAS in the line up.

The M-60 was do to making a bug report that the premium version didn’t have a Stab. Unfortunately the report wasn’t made until the vehicle was already out.

I am an Italian main, and Its been more then a year that I constantly ask myself “when are they going to add a subtree to Italy?”, It has been rumored lots of time, that when I saw Finland being added, I felt It was the time for Italy to get a subtree, but no, lets give It to the already powerful Sweden

I think it’s also because we more or less have most of what Italy has in terms of modern equipment other than prototypes. As for WW2/cold war, I’m sure there’s more we haven’t gotten yet.

My main complaint is that the R3 is at 5.7 and is complete garbage at that tier for no reason, while way better anti airs are at lower/way lower brs

Italy Is great for experienced players BUT: the lack of consistent Lin ups (expecially from 3.7 to 5.0) Makes It super hard to enjoy and l'ets not talk about the air tree.where you get Planes Like the g91ys at 9.3 br and no flares (yeks) Italian top tier can be actually fine but the Problem Is getting there lol.and the fact that gaijin Is nerfing Italian Planes to Oblivion Doesent help Edit: After seeing the f104S i realized that you are going to face f14s and mig29s in a plane with crappy radar and missiles

I started playin italy around one year ago and although I got to the russian top tier, I felt better playing the italian glass cannons like the centauro which became my most played vehicle by far, it saddens me to learn that a great deal of prototypes don't end up getting added in game, and at times it's frustrating to play simply because now italy ain't in a very good place, the skill of playin' 'em might save you from time to time but there is room for improvement

Yknow, I used to main Britain because the tanks looked cool. Once I realized how much struggle it was, I switched. Genius that I am, I switched to italy. I've been grinding for ages and I think I'm finally done with this. It'll be a waste of time but I need to switch nations again.

As a starting italian main it was very confusing when my plane was slower and more sluggish than basically anything

As a wannabe Italian main and actual Italian patriot I would like the snail to stop adding like a new Pz. variation or some obscure Russian vehicle and start instead adding and fixing stuff of the smaller nations. I think the big three are fine just leave em be for a while instead of adding small variations of tanks every update

If they want to fix Italy, how about making the Italy tree more fun and unique? -give them a hungarian Gripen in March -lower otomagic to 10.0, like 2S38 -add a Francesco Mimbelli destroyer at 8.3 blue water with two helis on board in December update. -recoilless rifle vespa at 6.0 -in December give the sparviero the Otomat missile and change BR to 8.0, later Exocet and a tech tree sparviero could be added It was a good nation to play: got plenty of lions with P40 tank when it was in beta. Warbond spit allowed grinding to g91 in two weeks, because every fighter after rank III was fun to spade. F-84 RE was meta with its air spawn it kept as an oversight, which made it the 4th strongest plane in squadron battles for four years. R3 dominated SRE for multiple BRs.

The ONLY good thing about the italian aviation tech tree is the fact that it has 50 cals at reserve and even that isnt entirely special.

Don't forget with the Sag2, not only did they raise it's BR and remove its AP belt, they also gave it a 55K SL repair cost lol Italy is in the best place its ever been since we finally got the F16, Tornado, and the DM53. They just reduced the Saette's AshM to a measly 5kg explosive mass from its original 26kg filler. The G91YS FINALLY can be spaded for less that 480,000RP but for what, a subsonic, no radar, no RWR, no countermeasure, plane with two 9Bs at 9.7. It took me and another guy nearly 2 years to get the Otomatic's radar fixed. Ever tried leading a jet with a 10+/- radar arc? The 2s38 is by definition an SPAA but Gaijin lets them take a pure dart belt but refuse to allow hull stored dart for the Otomatic Our current top tier MBT doesn't even have a roof gun and has worse armor than the two before it. Italy still doesn't have a heavy tank. NOT ONE. If Sweden gets test vehicles, why can't we get the Tiger that Italians were trained on? Thanks TEC, some of theis felt a little satirical but regardless, it was nice to hear it from someone in a position of power in the community.

Jokes on you. I'm not a professional player, I'm just an idiot that decided to play my ethnicity and regretted it because I got addicted and now I'm stuck in this hole until I can completely unlock my tech tree which for naval wasn't too bad until I hit the battleships. I finally unlocked one and it's taking so long until unlock the next one family with my coastal chips. When I unlocked the spagaro I'd say I'm off but I bought it. It was amazing that ship's auto cannon is glorious and it holds up unless you put it against any other nation's premiums and then you die and air battles don't even get me started. Same way with helicopters. I just suffered but I will endure Viva la Italia

First they hurt the 4.0 lineup by uptiering the BREDA, then the 5.0 lineup by uptiering the R3, now the 5.7 lineup with the RE.2005. When will it end?

I'm an Italy main and it's probably just me already used to suffering in games but so far, Italy has been a comfortable and fun nation. I also never have used a single aircraft because I despise aircrafts. I think there's something wrong with my tanks because they're pretty strong. I didn't know Italy had this much issues..

If they can worry about track drag and wheels in snow… Why can’t they make tank barrels solid? Barrels being solid would not pass through buildings. It would make tank drivers think twice about taking their 15 ft barrels into villages with narrow streets.!

The way the snail does the smaller nations and their tech trees leave a lot to be desired. I am grinding down the Italian naval tech tree atm and and there are no bright spots. A fletcher class premium is the best destroyer below 4.3. It's a tough grind in coastal as well, the only bright spot is literally one of last two positions on the regular tech tree, but you're going to suffer getting there. I'll stick it out because I like pain, but damn it hurts, lol...

as an italian main who played its ground tree as my first nation years ago i want to die

I'm italian and i play basically all my nation's tech tree often, even the Arietes. In my opinion top tier is much worst than even 8.7. In fact i do pretty well with the OF-40 Mk.2 or the VBC(pt2), while at top tier the experience can be rough, especially when playing against russians. In my opinion Gaijin could do more, for exemple by adding the Centauro 2, after all they added the Type 16 for the japanese, wich entered in service in 2016 if i'm not wrong, the same year the Centauro 2 enterd in service. But they are not totally to blame for the tanks and other veichles bad performances, especially with the Ariete, that even in real life was obsolete even when entered in service in 1995. Regarding helcopters i can't speak about them because i don't play them. Naval is pretty difficult to play, in fact i dropped them at 4.0 b.r. As for planes i don't play them much anymore, but i totally avoid the G-91YS/Y nowdays and same for the F-104s. So to recap Italy soffers more at high tiers/top tier because the veichles aren't super good by their own and because Gaijin is at least a bit biased or just don't give a f****. Anyway good video, keep doing a great job. 👉

I think Italy has nice 2.7 lineup but it needs Celere Sahariano and Turan II so it's little inaccessible

Italy needs a minor nation major expansion added to it. With some of their 6.3s going up in BR, I think their only ground lineups with more than 3 tanks in it stop at 4.7

The prblem with the aviation tree is there's literally no dedicated CAS, the fighters are okay but no where near as good as other nations. Couple that with very poor AA makes top tier so bad. The best AA for Italy are literally the helicopters

the italian tech tree is one i cant recommend to anyone, its just full of mediocre gimmick tanks apart from the 9.0 area. the lineups kinda suck in general except a few.

I started as a german main but i got italy when it came out, and it used to be a okay tree, but they nerfed it into the ground. The F104g in the german tree is better in every way than the Italian one buts it at the same br like why.

I think it would be a great idea if gajin removed the 600mm pen round on the ariete PSO and put it to 10.0 just to bolster the 10.0 line up, and yes they really need to do something about italian CAS and especially the absolutely terible heli tree

The only reason why I'm grinding the Italian tech tree is because my grandpa gifted me my first tank model which was a Centauro. But every time I start up the game to grind through the low tiers, I wanna rip my balls off with my bare hands. I fucking hate it so much

I cant agree more, I just want to get the hungarian BTR-80 at rank 5 but I'll probably have to spend a month grind through not even 1 tank at rank 5, which is in my opinion, one of if not the worst experiences. The only time I find myself having fun is playing arcade, which doesn't just mean it will take longer but I may not even get it at all due to sheer burnout from trying to get through rank 4 and start rank 5

A part of the reason why Italian planes keep getting uptiered is because people don't how how to fight them, I had a match in the Re-2005 where I got 5 out of the 6 enemy players all because they all decided to turnfight me in stuff like F-82s and F4U's. If you look at the stats for the Re-2005 it's just a slightly worse spitfire with different guns

I like italy as a light tank nation in WT. Speedy Boys, best boys. I started with the big 3, completed germany (ground) and at the moment i play italy because of the lessons i learned from playing the big 3: I like playing Tenchu in War Thunder and italy is realy great at ninja gameplay. So far (9.7) the ground expirience was fun. Not meta, not effective but fun. I love the 6.3 "Cars" Lineup and i love the 9.0ish Lineup. I would realy like to see Gaijin push italy as light tank nation with stuff like Centauro 2 and B1 Draco. Let the other nations have their meta MBTs and give italy the fun stuff

I’m a GB and Italian enjoyer. But I have a hard time convincing myself to play anything more than 10.0. Freccia, a129cbt basically. I liked the dart top tier Italy had previously. I thought that provided a unique top tier experience. With all the changes to top tier Italy tho yeah, I don’t play much past 10.0 these days for em.

They should just turn the Italian tree into a mediterranean tree. Add an Iberian subtree, there are already Portuguese (g91 r/4) and Spanish (VRCC) vehicles on the italian tree, even if the ones currently present are premium, just add a bunch more to the standart tech tree. idc if they pull the finnish treatment and just do copy paste, there are a bunch of copy-pastable vehicles from other nations that those countries use (i know for a fact that portugal has leo 2a6's and has used m60's and even EBR's at one point, Spain probably has some good copy pastable vehicles too). It has the potential to be such a fun tree but they just ignore it like if it was a stain on the game.

We just see that players strike works on Gajin, so meybe its time for another protest, this time for Snail to repair broken TT like Italy("we like upBRing") , British("yellow paint shells"), Japan("did we have Japanese TT?"), Etc... or just any tree that isn't Big Three!

Also the 8.3 SIDAM getting 60 rounds of apds is criminal and the r3t20 will be BR 10.0 by next year at this rate. The AUBL HVG should have been in the tech tree for a decent 7.7 line up. the c13 t90 should have just been 6.3 with the rest of the line up but it doesnt even matter because no one even knows it exists. Yes I am a tired and battered Italian main.

You talked about everything except for how it is for low to mid tier. There's a few good lineups but when you get to 4.0, you start seeing a terrible setup and br's that make it difficult to properly gradually climb up the tree. If I remember correctly, it's only one 4.0 vehicle, only one 5.0 vehicle, and then it's a clear flat line between ranks 3 and 4. France has the exact same thing, but it apparently doesn't matter to anyone else.

How are you playing on white rock fortress in the gameplay? One of my favorites and haven't been able to find it in the rotation

I’m new to the game and decided to play the Italian tree because I rarely saw them. I now know why. At mid tier they’re decently fun but low tier I had to be placed on suicide watch.

I'm currently on the tipping point of the Italian grind, I have the Freccia, but that I kinda focused, I still have to get the sidam mistral and everything after the of 40 mk2 and the 120 centauro, I know what I got myself into, i saw the terrible armor and everything but I still wanted to make a point that I could do it. But I'm still sad to see how Italy is getting thrown about here and there... I kinda hope they would add something like the Draco after the OTTOMATIC as an upgrade SPAA but I know that won't happen, but it's not just because gaijin doesn't like Italy but also because the OTTOMATIC itself isn't done correctly and is still at quite the high BR

we need to bring attention to the challengers non existent armour especially on the TES which has ERA about as thick as an R3 and the same amount of protection as the 2F but 5.8t heavier not to mention it has less protection in both CE and KN (CE400mm and KN30mm) than anything used by Russia I'm sick and tired of it being repeatedly ignored by gaijin even when making reports. even when making a report they will say the evidence is insufficient even with multiple sources but also wont take classified documents (not that I have access to any) so there is nothing they will accept unless its to buff a premium (bonus points if its Russian) to create a loop hole where they don't need to do anything.

Also the worst spaa, no vehicle has an effective range past like 3 miles, In the otomatic I've had people dodge my shots without them knowing all because they moved slightly! The 2s38 is a better otomatic, just without the search radar.

I wonder how much influence this had in the Hungarian tech tree coming and now the KF41 + 2A7 HU leopard now best tank IMO now back to Italy! - Still wish they didn't nerf the vehicles and premium he mentioned.. and added more vehicles that ITALY HAS PLENTY MORE OF they could add! Hope they will ever get on that... I love italian tree, that's my second favourite, but it's so poor. I wish they add at least P43 and Pz IV to the tree

As an 3000 hrs of WT veteran , and sixth grinded country -Italy Italy ground is a lot of fun at 3.7-4.0 and 9.0 -9.3 BR And AMV is really good and also my two fav- VBC and Freccio , cancer of second gen R3 😂
