Ok for the M13/40’s your armor is some of the best at 1.0 at range it can easily take so many shells from French and German tanks and some other nations. Also your gun is a god sent, it can one shot many tanks. I literally have one shot T-28’s so many times, that I called myself the T-28 hunter, which has a huge crew

They fixed the depression on the 47/32 L40; so now it is at least playable Edit: Oxy addresses this in the Addendum.

I've had a lot of fun with the 47/32 L40, It has a third crew member now, probably came after this video was released, and I never really had a problem with the depression, since it's kinda low to the ground. Nice video tho, I just finished watching your Britain tech tree series and the tier V of Americans, and really enjoy your content

I loved the M13/40s. They might not be fast but the armor bounces a couple of shots and the gun is lovely.

Out of all the rank one vehicles that ive used for Italy, the only vehicle ive hated so far is the 47/32 L40. Everything else has done reasonably well for me. The 47/32 really needs a BR drop, preferably to 1.0-1.3, and its historically a 3 crew vehicle, with the commander sitting above the ammo box to the right of the gunner and behind the gunner. This should help the vehicle drastically, as it really needs something to help it out, and with a rate of fire increase and a slight survivability increase it will help it so much

Something I discovered with the L3/33 CC is that if you end up having to brawl with another tank in CQB, drive right up to it, in fact ram into it. Most of the time your opponent will not have the gun depression to hit you at very close range and you can blaze away until you hit something vital. Most tanks won't be able to disengage as the little tank is pretty nippy.

The 47/32 L40 is good! I got 5 kills in 3 different games!! I don't know if the video is old (why would it it's only 2 years old) or something else, but it was one of my favourite vehicle in this rank.

I just started getting into WT, and since a bunch of my friends were years ahead of me but still wanted to play together, we all just started grinding the swedish line so they could continue playing and I would still be able to play with them. I've watched a few of your videos and saw these tier rating videos so I figured I'd give them a look for when I start working down other trees. Anyways, I was going to say you should totally do a swedish tree! Content is awesome and thanks for the hard work!

M13/40 (III) is an absolute seal-clubbing vehicle. It has an amazing shot and almost always 1 shots the enemy or leaves it uncapable and you just finish it with a second shot. The armor is amazing for a reserve tank. Easily the best reserver for a novice.

You're missing the gun depression of these tanks. The 20mm auto loaders are excellent and binocular shooting over ridgelines. Both have -12 gun depression and with their gun high on the turret, you are nearly impossible to hit

I didn't mind the M11/39... in fact I preferred that over the AS42 as my Tier 1 SPAA with those twin 8mm in the turret. And it has more ammo than the AS42. Mobility was fine and I did decently when working the flanks. I kept getting straffed and killed very easily in the AS42 while the M11/39 has armored protection and a 3rd crew member. Try playing this as your AA choice with the twin MGs. By the way, I also used my AB41 has a AA vehicle as well. I used the turret mounted MG as tracer rounds in setting up the 20mm to take out aircraft.

Love the format. Concentrating on a single vehicle is fine, but there’s a lot of that sort of thing about. This tier/nation review is really helpful and I haven’t come across it before.

You should do "How I play" type of series cuz it's obvious ur very knowledgeable and quite good at game so it would be nice to see you playing out full matches. I know this is more of a stream thing but pulling out good games and adding them to channel would be informative in my opinion ! I know i'd watch that !

Excellent Videos!!!! The Update "Danger Zone" was released on June 15, 2022. This update is definitely a huge negative change for the Italian tanks. Very sad. Gaijin have moved the three M13/40 BR 1.0 tanks to much higher ratings. The M13/40 I is now at 1.7 and the M13/40 II and III are now at 2.0!!!!!!!! The Italian reserve and other Italian 1.0 tanks are very weak compared to their competition. I have played the Italian ground forces tech tree for a long, long time now and there is absolutely no way that these tanks are in any way that superior to the US, German, or Russian reserve or BR 1.0 tanks. Gaijin previously up-tiered the M14/41 and M15/42 to levels where they are no longer competitive. I wonder if Gaijin is trying to shut down the Italian tech tree? At this point in time, I would absolutely NOT recommend the Italian tech tree for new or changing players.

Oxy speaking about the 20mm Breda equipped vehicles: it works best to fire this weapon shot by shot instead of automatically Oxy using said weapons: hoses down everything with automatic fire for deadly effect

Just for as a second opinion, the M14/41 is very solid for what it is. As long as you keep your back and sides protected it can be a serious threat with how well its armor performs.

M11/39 Player here, i agree with you in the part that its cannon is bad but just like with the french cannons at tier 1, with enough skill you can use and its armor is quite reliable at times as i have been on open fields on arcade and receiving shot after shot of enemy tanks(medium-low range) and managed to survive due to how the armor managed to absorb the shots so i would say that if you know how to use a low pen cannon go for it if not then dont, as you will indeed have alot of suffering

47/32 L40 is my most favourite !!! I love it so much !!!!!

The best thing about the m11/39 is I've had plenty of people shoot the turret thinking its the main gun only to kill them after they make that mistake.

I've found my AS 42 to be my best low tier vehicle, I really learnt the game on it

OXY, regarding the 47/32 L40. At moment the gun depression is bugged, it's supposed to be -12degrees, but Gaijin, as usual, has modeled it incorrectly, and it's default angle right now is +10degrees upwards, hence the anemic -2degree depression. You can see this when the gun is at maximum elevation, it starts clipping into the gun mantlet, that it's actually elevating more than supposed.

The M13/40 II isn’t worth the GE, but it’s nice to get it as a present from War Thunder over the holidays.

I like to get all the camo unlocks I can, so I've played a lot of these vehicles lately. TDs are trash, both marked TDs and M11, which I count as TD with it's haul mounted gun. They pen nothing, they damage nothing when they actually pen, the suspension is stupid bouncy. The rest is actually pretty good: decent mobility, relatively good guns/ammo, pretty good elevation angles too. Overall, with TDs I struggled to get a single kill in a game, while with other vehicles getting 5+ wasn't anything special.

I've had some of my funnest games in low tier Italy, even when using the 11/39.

47/32 L40 is maybe one of the best tier I anti-tank. In my collection it goes on with almost 400 kills.

AS42 has the bravest gunner of WW2. Also note the awful Italian suspension that makes your gun wobble up and down for good 2-3 seconds before you can take an accurate shot which affects so many of the tier I-II vehicles.

I'm not even sure how but once in the 47/32 L40 i failed to pen an almost flat on side shot on a bt yeah

The Breda 20mm on the early tanks have been stomped though. Main belt only has 38mm pen which is a bit of a wet sneeze. the highest pen of the TIER IV Belt is 48mm So they are WEEEEAK.

I don’t really use stats to dictate what tanks I should and should get. What I do use is the history of the vehicle and the nation. The Italians had great tanks, but they became obsolete when they faced other nations that could build tanks.

Bro the m11 is a nice AA platform, I survived 10 shots from a m5a1, ya a light tank but ten shots is a lot, and considering the speed of the tank, you can cap really fast early game if you know what you are doing.

You forgot to mention the shitty suspension of the 47/32 L40. The tank becomes a rocking chair when you stop.

for the L3/33 CC i like to hide it in a crater

in the current update, warthunder put L6/40 to reverse tank. So if you used time and pain to research the tank, it was useless

Ok,so i had my PC restarted,so my settings on WT are default...and if anyone could help,i had my zoom before (in sniper view or outside the tank) on once clicking my RMB,but now,that it is default,i have to hold it...how do i rebind it ? (I really sucks at controls settings so thats why i am asking for help)
