I like the implication that, until this trailer, diaphone just assumed bison uses psycho crusher to get everywhere. Like he was just spinning his way across Mexico until he found his horse

In Street Fighter 2 The Movie, Raul Julia plays M. Bison, and he has a Painting of himself riding on a horse. I'm almost confident that the Horse riding in here is a reference and an honor to that Painting. My only gripe is that this wasn't released on a "Tuesday."

At the start of the trailer, he clearly states he's adopting the name Bison. It's not the old Bison. He died.

something that bothered me about the initial roster of the game was the lack of baddies/villains. we had JP and Juri and even Juri is kinda goofy evil. now we getting some proper maniacal freakos with Aki, Akuma, Ed and Bison.

His soul is in the horse, the horse is using psycho power to control the body. That's why the horse is never far from bison. The horse is present in the Character select, intro, and outro. Also, when his hand burns he says "show me your worth, I will tame you in due time!" Is him talking to the body he is controlling.

Kinda looks like the Death from Darksiders 2, one of the Nephilim Horseman of the Apocalypse. As he clearly states at the beginning of the trailer, he's adopting the name Bison. That would be so cool if he was secretly another guest character Death, using the identity of Bison. It would make sense as Death would have no problem wielding psycho power.

It looks like some moves apply a soul power stack (the ball) and then other moves (that have psycho power) trigger the timer on the explosion or other effects like an extra hit.

It's been a thing with Bison. He always need more power, and he always needs clones to transfer his power over. It's why he has a female clone of himself named Killer Bee, that turned into Cammy. Which he lost at the end of Alpha 3. It's why he kidnapped Ryu, but he broke out and hit him the Satsui no Hadou powered shoryuken, which created an infinitely bleeding metaphysical scar that follows him through bodies(which also handily explains why he was a jacked up roid demon in the Alpha games, but an emeciated husk during SF2) It's why he created the Seth cyborgs that is powered by the tanden engine, to create more power faster than he can bleed that power away(which again, he failed to transfer over before the Seth bodies turned stupid) And that is why he currently has a burnt and scarred right arm.

Personally, Bison was the character I was the least excited for. But, seeing the gameplay trailer really reminded me how sick this game's characters are.
