My ex kept “bread crumbing” me and it made me feel like I had a chance with her and then I found out that she is in a relationship with someone else all the while contacting me. She would reach out about mundane stuff like pics of our dog, singing at church, family inquiries. Nothing about me or us and at some point I got tired of it and had to just block her for my mental health. She told me she didn’t want to get back together bc she could see how happy I appeared to be without her in my life so that cemented it for her. Her words not mine. So if that is the case, I’m gonna try and just move on. So blocking her has been hard to keep up but necessary for me in this case. She needs to focus on her new life and new person as I won’t take a back seat to anyone. This break up was actually traumatic for me and I’m in therapy, now live with family and do all the things I need to do to try and pick myself up off the floor. It’s still hard at times and I find myself ruminating but I am trying my best and that’s all I can do.

I dated my ex 4 years ago. She cheated, so I left and blocked her on everything. No discussion. To this very day, she continues to try and find ways to contact me, even going so far to have her friends contact me to try and speak with me. Since that time, she has tried to cheat with me on the guy she originally cheated with, while having had a child with him that he won't claim. She moved on to another guy, had another child and has recently married the father, and yet, she is STILL trying to get me back. I have not responded back ONCE. Not sure if this is narcissism or insecurity, but I would love some insight on how to get her to leave me alone.

My ex didn't contact me, but called my parents to congratulate them on the new year and Christmas. Before that, she didn't call me and told me to leave her alone and that she wouldn't do anything with me anymore. I think that's a positive thing.😊

After our Divorce (her choice) she has started this process, she was with another man in another state for over a year and left him and moved back near me. Could you make a video about what to say in your dating profile if addiction is on your "absolutely not" list. I've never been addicted and I don't use drugs or alcohol. I'm not in recovery or anything like it. My last relationship ended after 8 years because my partner did get addicted. I'm not interested in a repeat. I prefer being healthy. This is so accurate. My ex hasn't messaged me for 4 months and messaged me this morning. He unfollowed me so i unfollowed him and thought i wouldn't hear from him again. When he messaged me he told me i should get online in this game app we both played on. I still haven't responded bcuz i dont know how to, it's awkward to ignore the fact we haven't spoken in so long and all of the sudden they show up again after also unfollowing me. I made all the mistakes you could think of and pushed him away. He didn’t want to meet up nor talk really, and I strongly feel there is another woman in his life now. My ex usually sent a happy birthday text and happy holidays. It was not to reconnect, but to see if I would respond. Never went anywhere. I don’t respond anymore, but still get the texts. Maybe this will be the year when it stops. Absolutely no need to text me anymore.

I wish this video came out so long ago, exactly my situation, every 4-6 weeks right on cue, they kept trying to be friends but cancelling plans when we set up a date to see each other, I eventually started ignoring, eventually escalating to asking to meet up for coffee when I was in their city but they asked me too late as I was leaving. Okay, I'm still unsure about my situation. My ex and I broke up 3 yrs ago because he cheated and started a relationship with the girl. I've completely gone 'no contact', yet now and then he'll message me something random to get my attention. This most recent one is very.... odd, which is why I'm here trying to figure this out. He said "why do you keep coming up on my suggested friend's on Snap, i don't understand" - sent at 4 in the morning. Shouldn't he have gotten the hint already? I have no desire to speak to him and he knows that. And why message me at 4 am?

My ex ghosted me and after 5 weeks he sent a short message telling me that he is in an unfortunate sitiation without further explanation. 3 weeks later he sent a New Year message with nice wishes and sending me hug and kisses like nothing had happened but still being in a situation he will not explane. I send nice wishes back but told him not contacting me untill he is able to communicate clear with me. I really wish to talk to him but these inconsistent messages makes me just just totally confused.

This is happening to me with my spouse, who separated from me. She texts me often. It usually starts with "hey, just checking in." Then she will start telling me how overwhelmed she is, generally just struggling with life, having trouble financially, etc. Yet she won't bring up our relationship. We were together for 20 years. It's so confusing because I am being used. I refuse to bring up our relationship because it's up to her. I'm experiencing the same emotions, but I am trying not to show her. I failed that part in the beginning.

One girl that I was actually interested in , in the beginning.. she wasn't ready at that point. she went on to try living in Miami and San Francisco, then came back to New York and thought I would be waiting for her lol... boy was she mistaken.. Mine was contacting me but everything we talked about was just about her. I never ignored her when she reached out but stopped trying to carry the conversation. Craig mine reached out 3 days in a row after 7 months of being ice cold. She made Small talk each time and if I didn't answer one of her texts she would send a second and a third one. This is me!! My ex has been contacting me every few days since the break up last February. Initially we met but after she insisted on being friends I stopped meeting her. ok, i'm that ex who dumped his girlfriend and now pesters her with occasional contact whenever i feel like it. on one hand i do it because i miss her, on the other hand it's some kind of revenge for all the shit i had to endure in the relationship before deciding to leave. does it make her feel bad? most likely yes. do i hope she'll ask me out again - also yes. in this case i don't see the point in saving her feelings. if i stop doing it, it'll only be to save my mental health, not hers.
