Diagnosis or treatment without individual consultation by a suitable medical professional may lead to incorrect conclusions in the diagnosis and in the treatment processes.

Thank you for this video, I’m pretty fit and work out regularly. I injured my abs badly and was out of training for a couple of months and developed this popping, clicking sound and it’s been on and off for the past month. Your video has helped me so much. Being somewhat dramatic with regard to health issues, I was worried that my popping was a sign of some deadly cancer that had advanced to my spine. But you explained this and now I know that it is the product of me not doing my “regular routine” at the gym. After doing your exercises, I am already experiencing less popping. Thank you for your great info and for taking the time to impart this info to all of us.

thankyou for the exercise , i will try it after my resistance band will be coming. it's been more than 2 week since I have tight groin and pain on one side which lead to weird crampy pain on the side of back where there was groin tightness . whenever I lay down straight on my back that side of my back feels cramped and painful and snaps by itself ( but the snapping feels like that of muscle i am sure if it) i have recently got my spine xray it say that i have sacralisation in L5 of my vertebrae. I also have a lot of snapping and popping of my back but it's not painful. guess my back and groin muscles are weakened ..i am only 20 and i feel so bad that i am having all these problems at this age 😢. It is going to be a little long, I hope you can bear with me. Exactly a year ago, when I was lifting my heavy blanket, I felt pain in my lower back. Then, I tried to do some yoga stuff to help relieve the pain. It did not work and it only got worse. Then, I wanted to take a shower thinking that a nice hot shower would maybe help. I got into the shower, sat down on the floor as I suddenly had a very sharp pain. Then, something happened in my left lower back, exactly in the line where my waist dimples are - the feeling of bubbles. I do not know how to explain this feeling really but it was as if there was a bubble on my left lower back and it went to my core as a line while multiplying. Then, very sharp pain again so I changed my mind about taking a shower and got up. The pain was so bad that when I reached out for my towel, my vision went all black, and then I passed out and hit my head on the floor. I woke up and got up but it was still so bad that I passed out again and I was in another place in the room when I woke up and didn't even remember getting there. The pain was as if somebody was pulling me down from my waist. Then, we called an ambulance as I was screaming with pain whenever I moved. I was screaming whenever the ambulance was on a bump on the road. When we arrived at the ER, they asked some questions and sent me to MRI. After seeing the results they said I had sore muscle or something like that. Well, duh. They prescribed me some muscle relaxers. I did not move much for a week or so and I gradually got better. The area still aches sometimes and it pops every day. And I have the need to pop/click it because then there's an uncomfortable and painful feeling in my core. The way it pops/clicks is like this: I lift my upper body up with my arms when I am sitting on a chair and then let my lower body go down, then it clicks. It's kind of like this person but my arms are next to my butt: blog.mapmyrun.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/A-Runner%E2%80%99s-No-Equipment-Upper-Body-Workout.jpg What do you think my problem is? And should I worry about this? I feel like I should. Would doing your exercises help it? Thank you in advance!

These exercises will help build muscles to support the hip bones, however how about ligaments which supposedly may have weakened or lost elasticity.. do they become tighter/stronger? Not sure whether it would be accurate to say that these exercises or others actually restore ligament strength/elasticity. I've been sleeping on a hard surface for sometime which I've found comfortable though recently developed lower back pain. I'm thinking that could be related to the hard surface that the back of my hip has been resting on for a long time, though not sure.

Hey melanie! New subcriber 😊 I have a very curious question Can one have an si joint dyfunction or si joint stability? Without any physical examination test sign being shown positive? Or can si joint ligament laxity be undiagnosed? Because i have all the symptoms of an si joint dysfunction. I have aching around my si joint, i have aching around glutes medius, and if i sit down for too long aching can increase If i increase my daily activities, the aching will increase. Even from time to time my do feel clicks/pops in my si joint area If i jerk and skip on my right leg, which is my affected side i feel like an almost sprain feeling. When i do "Child's pose" stretches i feel tightness and stretched feeling around that si joint area. But my physical therapist did si joint dysfunction tests on me, it showed no sign of positiveness So i'm very confused Can i deteremine i have si joint dysfunction, without relying on the physical examination test since all the symptoms above i mentioned links directly to si joint dysfuntion.have a very curious question Can one have an si joint dyfunction or si joint stability? Hi hi! Thanks for subscribing, generally I do 6 test to rule out SIJ if it all comes back negative then most likely it’s not SIJ problem. Might be lower back or hip issues etc. A lot of different medical issues have similar symptoms hence it’s hard to do diagnosis sometimes :) but if you are concern do get a second opinion :)

Hi Mel! I have a challenge and can’t seem to find any info on it. I have a literal “catch” in my lower left hip/back. When I need to bend over for work or to pick up something I sometimes get caught as I start to raise up and I literally cannot raise up until I maneuver or twist until something in that area goes back into place. That area stays constantly sore and somewhat painful most of the time. I’ve started doing floor stretches and side leg lifts, sit-ups, and reverse sit-ups and things have improved but when the “catch” happens again, I’m right back where I start with the pain and more catching when I bend over. I’m 67, male, 6’2” and an active and healthy 280Ibs.

I’m experiencing a small bulge to the lower right side of my back at or just below the belt line. When this happened it was about 2 mts ago. I was doing no heavy lifting. Though I did I slightly slide my wing chun dummy. Which I did push from below the middle to evenly distribute its weight. After I got up. Immediately I heard a pop. Followed by pain later I noticed swelling and bruising with a fist size bulge and to the touch it felt like a bone was protruding. This has been almost 2 going on 3 months. I’ve been massaging and I’ve not been experiencing any pain. Though I don’t feel pain I do feel a slight sensation to the dimple of the left buttock cheek. When I stretch it I feel it shoot slightly to the knee. What could this be?

Can I continue working out while doing these or should I take a break and do this stuff until it stops, my hips and lower back kinda pop fairly often when I walk although it varies (I think on how tired the surrounding muscles are). It’s painless but is just annoying. From what I’ve seen the main stuff I should focus on is building core strength and hit mobility.
