Have the same model. Ice build up at the dispenser. 1. Take out the ice dispenser, dump ice in a bucket and save for later. 2. I just with tap water to de ice the ice dispenser. 3. Wipe and install. Just cleaned mine.
@@KenzyJce there's probably a water filter inside the fridge change it. The line can't really be cleaned or are a pain to clean so just buy new lines and replace the current ones
yes the model uses a screw mechanism that moves ice in the ice maker container and this means that from the mechanical action some ice breaks a bit and thats why it splits all over the floor with small ice bites
Man that's barely any ice at all alot of fridges do this I'm afraid you will have to deal with it or if it bothers you so much make a extension to the bottom to keep it directed correct buts it's not that bad
Hold the cup higher, there is no shape charged fill funnel. It is inherent in the design of the product you are intended to cover the mouth of the dispenser with the glass.
Or just periodically come by during the day and break that ice up. I used to work at a sushi restaurant and we'd have to do that at least 4 times during a 10 hour shift
I have the identical fridge. From my experience with auto ice makers in the past, it seems that auger based ice dispensers do that. Because the auger grinds up the cubes a bit before dispensing.
I neglected to replace the water filter and used the water and ice maker a good while after the light came on. Do you think this has something to do with it?
Same issues. I've never had such a bad dispenser. Also, my water comes out of the dispenser at an angle of about 15 degrees. It's been this way since we bought it. I've checked and reconnected all the lines yet it still sprays diagonally.
There’s a lawsuit that was settled concerning this just call Samsung and tell them it’s not working and they will fix it free no matter the warranty period if you get push back keep speaking to diff reps till you get your situation resolved it should be absolutely free
Anyone having issues with the freezer not making ice.? My fridge ice works with no problem. Randomly the freezer portion stopped producing ice. Any thoughts?
Are the cubes solid... Or is the ice partially crushed and are pieces of the cubed ice going everywhere... If that's the case, look at the mechanism in the ice tray that diverts the ice from crushed to cubed... Mine is stuck in the crushed position... Also, are you getting a little water you get ice... If that is the case, it looks like the problem might in the ice maker... It's a little mechanism that moves up and down changing the position of the arm in the ice tray... That's as far as I've gotten, still trying to solve my issues... Hope that helps...
@thejourneyingmillennials I just deal with it. Bigger glass, hold it closer. It's my understanding, it's not just this brand, it's many refrigerator brands do the same thing.
Does anyone have a problem with the ice maker changing on its own from cubed, to crushed, then to water then it locks itself. Its like the damn thing is possessed and I dont even have WIFI.
Yes…on here trying to figure out why my water/cubed/crushed buttons are not working. The water locked and now it won’t even switch to the ice choices. So annoying. After a little bit the water is finally working but the ice options are not working.
yes samsung is💩worst refrigerator we ever owned…. that’s how it starts in 6 months your compressor will die… repairman will come then you will go back and forth with samsung worker in india who will give you a useless coupon code to purchase a new fridge on line… they will not have your same model it will be like 50 bux more… but then they will charge 2200 to your credit card… then you have to go to your bank and void the transaction….. then you get pussed cause you’ve had no fridge for 4 weeks… so you say “ f” it and go to lowe’s and buy a whirlpool fridge cause samsung sucks❤…. your welcome
Is this the ice maker just let it be like, when you just if you don't want it to go, just hit up all the way to the top easy, is it plus, it looks like the ice thing is missing, like this must be like the little saying, where are you have, it's like a to help you not gonna mess it looks like that,that's missing
If that's your only problem with this horrible fridge, count your blessings! Two repairmen and almost $300 and it still doesn't produce any ice. Why in the world Home Depot recommended this appliance is beyond me. But it's our bad, we were in a hurry and didn't check the reviews! So sorry for your problem!
