I've recently switched to the Honda, and I was a firm ZSR for a while. Octane be familiar though!

Remember when the new Dingo car almost became a new community favorite in mid-2021? That was so cool to see. But it didn't last :( Also it was the Fennec that debuted in 2019 Radical Summer, not Twinzer. Twinzer debuted in 2018 Salty Shores. I've been occasionally maining it ever since, lol

I remember truly believing that car would go mainstream bc so many people were talking about it and pros were even saying its next up, to this day I still havent been able to get my hands on the car.

I got TW Octane early on my RL playthroughs so i just stuck to that plus not to long ago Psyonix came out with the Black variant of the Octane so I have absolutely no reason to change lmao Its just a clean and balanced car

I prefer the ZSR to the normal Octane look, but it can't be painted, which is a big design detrament.

Its the Axis that makes the difference. Its all about the axis and turn radius. But axis mostly

@@zeyadosama15 Its experience, i got over 5000 hours. Even if the stats are on some websites, that counts for nothing when you play it. I do freestyle a lot on keyboard so maybe i feel the rotation axis more precisely.

So to get this straight there is literally no effect, or difference between using 2 different Octane body’s? Like the Fennec & the Octane both hit the ball the exact same way? Ive seen people saying theres minor differences then others saying they are identical… which is it??

Under the model they perform exactly the same, you could mod swap the cars in a replay and you wouldn't be able to tell. I have done it many times in these videos actually! The car models are different, of course. Which can lead to them 'feeling' different. But input-for-input they are identical in every way.

Superstition. Period. Octane ZSR, Dominus GT (or most of the GXT Dominus hitbox cars), and Centio are my go-to Octane/Dominus/Plank hitbox cars. Kinda depressing that the pro scene is so unimaginative when it comes to car models and decals. Literally tens of millions of car design options in the game, and 99% of the pro scene gravitates towards a dozen design combos. Variety is the spice of life, IMO. I see videos from pros all the time claiming certain cars have amazing hitboxes, but everyone shows up on game day in a stOctane or Fennec. Pretty sad to see variety die.
