After dropping his diss track, Drake is putting the pressure on Kendrick Lamar to respond to him as soon as possible but despite his strategy trying to immediate Kendrick, it will only help Lamar win this beef...
Drake is cooked because he has too many public L's. I loved Drake's "Drop and give me 50". It was a solid diss. But I can't _not_ see Kendrick ethering Drake in response.
This is true, and theres a lot to attack drake about. But Drake is better with bars, pettiness, and wit. Kdot will most likely have Drake rapping the best he's ever rapped since his back in the day
@@Andy-td8eo I don't. I don't hate Drake's music. And after this beef is done, I'm still gonna listen to his music if I like it. I'm just being honest with how I see things. You can disagree, that's fine.
@@thepoweraboveall what? Yall on kendrick's dick fr. Bringing something that is already known woudk t be solid dissing. We already know the ghost writers allegations, the pornsstar baby mama the child. What else can they possibly come at Drake at?
@@BrandonWhatTheF to many public Ls? That’s the thing though. What haven’t we heard from drake at this point? What can Kendrick say? ITS ALL OUT THERE drake going in with the underdog mentality
dropping a album every 2 years is a tyler thing not a kendrick thing if hes gonna do that i think maybe the album will lack the polishing that all the others had but for the heart part 6 for sure
@@Dreglenah, he's been cooking for awhile now. He took 5 years to make an album but I don't think he was working that whole time. He was working as a father and on himself.
@@Dregle Remember that Kendrick's first four albums came out within two years of each-other- 2011-2013-2015-2017. Hopefully now that's taken the five year gap between DAMN and MR. he's back to the two year schedule. That would be incredible if so.
@@Randhawa241 no disrespect to dot but ain't nobody checking for a Kendrick or drake album right now. At this moment, it's war and all we wanna hear is a response to Drake. If it ain't a response he can keep that s***. The winner can drop an album when the dust settle.
Social media doesn't dictate that most of Hip Hop has sided with drake. They do not respect the 20 vs 1 and causing controversy to stay relevancy tactic if it's really beef go one on one then stop dropping albums after fake beefing
@@reel_visualzhe ain’t losing until Kendrick drops. We expect fire, but he best not miss. This is K’s opportunity to be the King all the dick riders say he is. It would be crazy dope. But on the other side of that, we’ve never actually seen him battle and simply expect greatness from him. I’m really looking for a track that’ll break Drake’s ability to respond. But if he doesn’t stop him in his tracks, I think drakes gonna come back and get him
@@farmboy_slim Kendrick is definitely overrated but he win by default cuz j Cole forfeited. Drake will always be a star but never a hiphop legend to be taken seriously 💯 it don't matter if Kendrick song weak as long as he the one who wrote it I guarantee he will win😏
I don't believe he is scared at all. He wouldn't have fired shots if he wasn't prepared for the fallout. Additionally, he's not going to go after one of the top dogs in the genre if he didn't have an ace up his sleeve. The social media antics are going to have little if any impact on the nature of this beef, it'll come down to lyrics period. Both shots were jabs, no one has tried for the knockout punch just yet. That being said, Drake is putting pressure on Kendrick to respond for sure, and Ross having responded in only 2hrs doesn't help. But I expect both parties to drop the equivalent of nukes that will change hip-hop for sure.
Kendrick is too brilliant to just throw together a song. He’s going to put together a Pulitzer Prize winning short mini film and diss track. Watch how brilliant and unorthodox it will be. A whole mini movie about Drake
Yeah imagine Suggesting that Ak is on OVO payroll For siding with Drake he has always admitted is his favorite artist of all time but not seeing the hypocrisy of completely riding Kendrick the entire video, completely disinterested in any sort of fairness and reported 🤡🤡🤡
Bro told metro, a man who makes millions and loves to do his job... to go do his job in a diss track. He then said that 21 savage and sza are better than Kendrick. Bro is cooked 😭
@@hoodietheentertainer884 Yeah, and Drake said "you ain't in no big 3." That's really dumb since Kendrick said "Fuck the big three." Reason he aint in no big 3 is bc he ON TOP.
The context of that bar is that Metro doesnt really do drums fr. He does everything around the drums but not the actual drums. He just uses samples and shit of the like
Kendrick needs to take his time and make sure this diss is perfect. Drake has so many Ls but his diss not only has to be a good diss, but it needs to be a great song too.
Honestly not really scared of the song being bad, only song of his i really hated was really doe and thats a feature but Im excited for more kendrick music tbh
It needs to lyrically be like Either and be aggressive like Hit Em Up and have timeless replay value. Could be a challenge but I think Kendrick might be capable of doing it
If drake is Thanos, he’s going to get his head cut off in the endgame, and then try to come back only to get whooped by everybody in the industry. Honestly the fact that a lot of people who know drake personally and don’t like him, should be enough to warn you of the kind of person he is. I trust the self made folks, not the privileged ones.
What privilege did he have in the rap game? A Canadian light skin Jewish gave him an advantage??? I mean that is who you built the game right 🤔. 😂😂. Cmoon bro, talk yo sh*t, but don't say Drake had privilege. He had 2 mixtapes prior to so far gone, a whole bunch of unreleased songs on RU-vid prior to thank me later. He was also the hook guy for a bit, and was carrying every song. It's all Drake lil bro
Drake is the Dragon 🐉 of Revelation 12:7 in the spirit of trying to 1 up Michael, he declared spiritual war against him. 🌿 Revelation 12:7- "Then war broke out among the stars. Michael [and his angels] fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back." #TheBible Here’s the best part In the Etymology of Middle English, drake means 'dragon,' following the Old English drake, which means 'dragon, sea monster, or huge serpent. ' Drake likely relates to t he proto-Germanic drako as well as the Latin draco, both meaning 'dragon. -Now read that scripture again 💫
So he can't have fun? Social media gets to create a perception about him falling and losing even though J Cole folded but is still being praised 🤨boy you guys really are biased. I see why drake is using the the underdog strategy because y'all want him to lose so bad
@@philanamrecords9922 so no holding back right?? surely kendrick fans won't be pissed as hell when drake use tupac and snoop dogg to disrespect kendrick right??? surely kendrick fans won't give every single excuse to defend kendrick and try to downplay drake right?? right?
The fact that there isn’t any hip hop media that is “defending” Kendrick the way Akademiks or Joe Budden does speaks volumes. No ones a fan of that mf. Even Charlamagne gives props to Drake and he hates him
@@abrahambarron8615 and yet I see all these RU-vid videos defending Kendrick, it’s almost like big media outlets get paid to push an agenda. Like I said, they’re already losing credibility because they’re biased and willing to push false narratives.
@@drewleaguenz5654 Fair, but for at least a little bit he will have his reputation ruined for talking a lot of shit about how he can go bar for bar with anyone, made a diss track that fell hella short and dipped. That being said i like Cole and hope to see more music soon
What people don’t realize is that Kendrick isn’t on the Internet. Drake was able to get meek clowned and end him because he was always tweeting when charged up dropped. Kendrick is not on social media like that so you can’t tell what his next move is. So go ahead and drop the second diss track, I feel like K. Dot can strike at any moment. That’s how Pusha T was able to win the beef, he got real quiet and unexpectedly responded and exposed him. Then he got J Prince saying they had a song in the chamber as a chess move and nobody was buying it.
@@JuliusTurner-hm6ff to be honest with you a lot of the stuff is going over peoples heads. K. Dot is playing the rap game. Drake is playing the petty game. All Kendrick said was “hey there is no top three I will bury y’all lyrically” then drake responds with childish insults and making fun of Kendrick, he can’t see Kendrick bar for bar and that’s all Kendrick was saying. Which drake is providing his point. This wasn’t about streams and numbers. Its about the art of Hip Hop.
@Power4Woe you mean how Nas put Jay's business all out there, then became his best friend and signed to his label afterwards? You mean how Dre exposed Easy and was at his hospital bed holding his hand afterwards? You mean how Jada blasted 50 then made albums with him afterwards? You mean how Luda dissed TI and magically became best buds afterwards?
He trying to sway public opinion which it’s working for the younger people but for the people who really know rap know what drake did was light. It’s coo but to ho against Kendrick calling him a pipsquak ain’t shit to what he gone say to drake.
@marquisecarr2147 did you miss the whole Whitney bar? Kendrick got assassinated. I don't think you even understand what that bar is insinuating. To call that diss track light is one of the most ignorant comments I've read on this topic. The diss track was flawless! Everything a hiphop head could ask for. Kendrick needs to bring out some top tier shiit. His entire legacy is on the line.
All of Hip Hop sided with drake it's a 20 vs 1 he isn't swaying anyone they want war and he is ready for it, just got finishing his tour🤑 and after he's finished he has to go back on tour the summer. You havexto respect drake he didn't fold like cole
@@DotCom-yg8mm none of these new age Hip Hop r3tard commenters no nothing about Hip Hop no nothing about music and no nothing about the simplistic nature of diss tracks while also being very strategic. Drop and give be 50 was fire 🔥 seems like a normal hit record for when you break all the bars down it's very strategic
The only thing I don't think Drake is taking into effect, like he always does, is hip hop and Black people as a collective do not care about Taylor Swift.
The leak definitely didn’t do him any favors, showing he’s not as calculated as it seemed and he’s still yet to officially claim the track, instead sending his pawn Dj ak to do all his talking, it all just illustrates to me how inauthentic and cowardly Drake really is at his core
I respect the opinion from real hip hop historians they have all gave their salute to drake. 20 vs 1 but drakes the coward?😑 yet Jcole folded but y'all still respect that
@@JohnBoyed-fo6fm how it’s 20 v 1 when Drake is a TEAM of writers , producers, all signed away to ovo , nigga got lil Yachty writing entire songs for him n shit
Yo a "The Heart Pt. 6" being his response to Drake would be insane given how it started as him still trying to make a name for himself. That would definitely be a bookmark moment in his career.
Stop reaching jack reacher lol. You're forgetting Kendrick has never been in an actual back n forth fued / beef with another rapper. Does he even know how drop a proper 50 / eminem level real diss song?? Foh with all that poetry black power peforming arts raps...its fine but drop a real diss record not shots. Time to show YOU a problem Dot
This dude behind this channel is a super observant Hip Hop fan. He addressed every little detail from DJ Ak and mal riding drake bandwagon to Drake and ovo pretending that ai song was actually Dot. He ended called out Drake’s internet tactics. Same one he used against meek mill. Congratulations. You called it.
@@jacolbyprice260ummm you do know Kendrick has ghost writers too. 😂😂😂… Kendrick never wrote a song by himself. He always had help… Drake slowly exposing him
And at the same time drake’s confidence and his fans calling victory this early reminds me of when they were calling victory over pusha. We know how that story ended up.
Kendrick should not be taking long to respond because he started this whole thing. This is what he has wanted all along. You can't be throwing jabbs at people and when they take the time to engage you all of a sudden now we have to wait a year for you to fight back. Even Rick Ross responded within hours. I wouldn't be so quick to say that he's going to wash Drake away. He does have the potential to so. He's definitely a worthy opponent. But will he? Yall up here talking like Drake is wack or something. We all know that he can rap if he wants to.
Love Kendrick but he’s not entitled to a W just because he’s the superior mc. He has to EARN this win. His body of work has nothing to do with this battle and so far Drake is up on the scorecard. But we’ll see…I’m sure his next swing will be a good one. But Kendrick can’t win if he’s inactive. He has to be active to win. Period.
This is why I don't like Kendrick fans. This the same dude that criticized Drake for not responding and basically calling him a coward. Now that he has responded to Dot and is taunting him now he's still afraid of him. This dude is a joke. I guess is Damned if you do. This joker is really a Bozo.
I could never figure how someone could be a Drake fan. Then it hit me. Drake fans cannot comprehend complex language. They cling hopelessly to things they can easily understand, because they do not have to exert themselves intellectually. Translating for the Drake fan: Ya’ll don hafta think none when listenin to him. Don’t get mad because it not your fault you aren’t equipped, you are just simply part of the masses. You like things (like Drake) because the rest of the masses dictates it and you don’t/can’t bring yourself to independent thought and it’s safer to hide in the crowd and say crap like “if he is so bad why does he sell so many records?” 😂😂😂😂😂 Save your clown emoji responses as you are prone to do so predictably. You are what you are, just acknowledge and own it.
We'll see about that. If it doesn't take kendrick 50 years to drop a response. He will probably drop them in his album whenever that is, april is over. Drake is a nasty opponent though, he knows the skeletons in ppl's closets that he's ready to air out. He'll be a formidable opponent cause his pettiness knows no bounds. Those two disses were a warm up.
Honestly, I’m a big fan of Kendrick and drake, I’m here for a good joust, not for any career ending stuff. Cole messed up by stepping down in my opinion, he could’ve cemented his role in the game but his only downfall was not having a clear target, Cole is a very likable artist and guy in general so him dissing Kendrick or drake was just not a great choice since he worked closely with both guys and would be fighting a losing battle. Cole should’ve taken the approach as being his own beast and not needing either for him to be the greatest but instead he backed down, it is what it is.
That’s what worries me the most. He could unfortunately throw this away if he follows his instincts. Let’s hope he’s got a solid team to strategically go at drake properly
Drake's rep is not on the line. He is literally taking on the entire mainstream industry and he still doesn't seem scared at all. He wasn't the one that said he will be snatching chains and burnig tattoos which is obviously never ever going to happen.
It’s in the middle it wasn’t ass but it wasn’t legendary . He had a triple and a double entendres in there but some of the shot he was saying was asss like pipsqueak? How old are we. He also talking about his nails man that’s sassy asf. Idk man and I don’t like the drake is innocent narrative going around the dude set there and been sneak dissing these dudes and have done things business wise that’s shady the truth will come out.
"Nothing was the same since they dropped control, and tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pijama clothes" 😢... you guys just wanna give this to drake forgetting he's been ducking The Former Street rapper Kendrick. And your painting over the fact that Drake is a rapper who writes lines and Kendrick doesn't, just like Drakes Hero Lil Wayne.. levels Guys Levels.. Drakes a Great Artist not a Great Rapper.
Drake responded. he said “my pinky ring more then your corny ass show and ya merch money” direct response to rocky lines on metro/future album. Why are y’all Drake fans so weird. He not that mysterious and calculated like ya make it out to be . 😂 he has ppl researching the same internet narratives ya be making up about ppl ya don’t like, watch , or know. I’m 33 I was there for Drake , Rocky, and Kendrick. Entire career. Underground for all them before the super fans came. No diddy
@@rfeldntas5883 didn’t I say “Y’ALL DRAKE FANS”? That’s as direct as it gets .. this situation appears to be playing out exactly the way you described it which is funny especially after hear the Taylor made freestyle drake just made to try and taunt Kendrick to respond it will be interesting to see how this beef plays out and who wins.
