Why drive 2 hours when I can fly for 3 hours? :-) Passed Downtown Austin! 

I've been needing to take a trip out to Smithville, Texas, to pick something up. It's about a 2-hour roundtrip if I drive depending on traffic, so I decided to drive to the airport instead and fly out there. On the way, I passed through downtown Austin, which was crazy to see from the air. The skyline has changed BIG TIME since I was a kid.
On the way back from Smithville, I flew up the Colorado River and over Lake Travis. I spotted a new potential landing strip.
