WOW this place definitely agrees with Edith. Congratulations. She looks so much younger compared to her last video. She has truly found her Paradise. Amazing how good anyone can look when they get rid of stress and begin eating healthy and exercise. Keep it up !!!!
Thank you and you are so right! Living in a stress-free environment, regular exercise, healthy eating and creating friendships can make a huge difference! Thanks for watching.
I decided 8 months ago that I am coming to Panama summer of 25 and I chose Pedasi, I just knew it was where I wanted to be. So I will be seeing you sometime late summer early fall 2025 Edith.....I bought the guide and have started the process getting rid of my stuff.
@@MAMIEHOLT-bk8ib In the daytime, low 90s to mid 80s. It’s in the 70s in the evening, and yes, we have lovely warm breezes. For some, it may be too warm, that’s why it’s a good idea to visit and see if Pedasi is right for you.
@@buscatsexplore1560 hi 👋🏼. I hired one of the pet transportation companies found in the Panama Relocation Tour online guide. I followed the information and was so happy to be able to bring my pets with me.
What a wonderful spirit and kind soul, I am so happy for you… I am so looking forward to our tour in April… I have been watching and listening to vloggers and live streams for almost 2 years.. Blessings to you and I hope to feel the same way about Panama as you do…
Edith, your presentation and information on Pedasi were impressive! You seem so content with your life there, i think you will have many new neighbors. Thank you PRT for the beautiful photography of the area.
She keeps drawing my attention back to Pedasi, that's a good thing!! Definitely want to go snorkeling in February while staying in Las Tablas. Thanks for your heart felt sharing! Cheers Christine
Two years in Coronado, two years in the city, next stop is Pedasi. I feel drawn to this place and I think it just might be home. Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful story.
Thank you for having us with you for this nice introduction. Gracias. Please let me know where I can search for renting something for about two months. Like to get to know this area. We are a retired couple looking around for a nice quiet place to stay. Thanks a lot for any advice giving to us. Maybe we will be once neighbours ? You never know…..
Thanks for watching! A private tour of the area will be a great way to see all available rentals. PRT has a couple of excellent tour guides in the Pedasi area 😊
How much is real estate tax and insurance for your home? Trying to assess if it would be affordable. Thank you for the great video and providing all information upfront that will help a lot of people.
Property taxes and homeowners insurance are relatively low in Panama. Property taxes are about 1% of the registered value of the property. Insurance for my home is about $400 annually.
That’s the beauty of Panama… there are many microclimates and places where there is significant rainfall. Perhaps the mountains would be more suitable.
??? HOLA🙋♀️ What are the cities around Pedasi? I notice Panama is Pretty big, I live in kingman Arizona, coming December 1st for a month to get my pensionado visa & to look for a place to see what area to move to to actrully stay June thru November Thank ❤️ you familia
North of Pedasi are Las Tablas, which has wonderful Panamanian culture. North of that is Chitre with all the shops and an airport to get you to and from Panama City. South of Pedasi is Venao, Ciruelo, Cañas Cambutal. There are a many, many more… Come visit! 🌴
They don’t bother me. I have screens on all my doors and windows. They’re more active at sundown so if I’m outdoor dining, I’ll use coconut oil… that seems to help keep them away.
Pedasi is in the Azuero Peninsula. It’s the “Arco Seco” or dry arch. This area experiences minimal rainfall compared to Panama City and other areas in Panama.
Hola Edith, we liked your report about Pedasi and intend to visit in December looking for a 1 or 2BR Apartment to rent longterm. Can you advise us regarding a real estate agency you know. Thanks and best regards from Walter and Melaika
@@Jammer411 true but in reality you have to get to the ocean first. If you live in town, walking to the many stores or restaurants can be difficult. Living right on the ocean would be ideal.
@@Jammer411 when I visited in 2021, the people we went to see near Pedasi had a house on the Ocean and two rentals on their property. Cute, tranquil and only about 400 a month at that time, and building another one. I would LOVE to live in the downstairs one right by the pool. But the other part is that you have to have a car to live there, it's out of town a ways.
It is hot here, which is why I had to have a pool for cooling down on those hot days. But, I got acclimated pretty quickly, to the point where I don’t need AC… ceiling fans and cross breezes are perfect for me. But, the warmth is not for everyone.
It takes me 5minutes to Home Depot, 7 Minutes to Wholefoods, 10 minutes to 4 different Walmarts and Target. Dozens of coffee shops, large malls, museums galore. It would take a long time to get used to not having near immediate services. Nice looking place though.
@@theglobalvagabond3074 there are many towns that have lots of large stores. Panama City certainly has many shops within walking distance if that’s important to you.
Hi, I would like to know why your pets are so costly. I have a dog and two cats, but $500 in Europe would be insane. Is it normal in Panama, or do you buy special things for them?
That’s a great question. We make special food for our pets and that can be costly. However, many pet owners choose to simply purchase kibble and that’s a lot more cost effective.
