Been rooting for ashok since thegidi... I'm so happy he didn't fall into acting crappy movies like many big actors did, he has always maintained his movie quality
My interest in southern cinema is all due to jammy. He has contributed huge in making audiences aware of finest movies from south. Unfortunately I live in a small town so no chances for me to watch the movie I will wait for OTT release
Not only Tamil Nadu. The movie started with limited number of shows in Bangalore also. But now, the number of shows has increased slightly and maintaining steady. In fact, for a weekday show today morning, the theatre was about 35% full which is absolutely great.
It's a Triumph for Ashok Selvan, he has a pretty good script selection good to see the hit he deserves after a long time. Loved his work in Modern Love: Chennai. Can't wait to watch Por Thozhil...
Me and my friend watched in Vijayawada, there were no subtitles and we don’t know tamil much! Yet we tried to figure-out the dialogues with whatever little Tamil language we know and throughly enjoyed the movie!
Few days ago I took my mom to Por Thozhil, and she's a huge fan of a bigshot from the K town, although we live outside the city, she doesn't have exposure to world content, yet the 50 yrs old felt that she's highly disappointed with his star hero for committing himself to some creepy masala films, whereas low budget films like Good Night and Por Thozhil were able to pull the audience and keeping them engaged throughout the film, imagine a person of her age expects a quality film from her star, and what do the young gen expects ? While the audience evolving beyond age limits but our stars downgrading themselves by acting in films with reference of their own benchmark films, how come they set a benchmark for the current trend? Felt so happy seeing people turning towards good contents and welcoming such rich crafted films in the recent past❤
Woah… so much to learn… this is the first time I’m learning about the mood board and how meticulously they’ve done it… looks like he really knows what he’s doing 😮
Make a video on Yaathisai! Made at a low budget of just 4-5 crores but was really convincing with proper execution! Heartening to see movies like Yaathisai come when 500-600 cr movies falter.
This is clearly the best mystery thriller film of the year. The only Tamil mystery film which utilizes sound in such a brilliant fashion. It is so important to design the sound so that a mystery film becomes a horror film. Just brilliant.
i am not an avid tamil movie fan ( need to explore more), but i am a huge fan of your content , and i trust you with all my heart , your recommendations and the way in which you express yourself just sold me to watch this movie, but there is a problem, the nearest cinema hall or so that could show this movie is 20 kms away. And as i live in a tier two city in karnataka , i dont really think that this movie would play there, and now i am sad , but if this movie plays in the theatre , i would definately go and check it out, anyways, there is no point to this comment , just expressing my shit here.
That's completely okay...just want to thank you for supporting my content and all these kind words, and request you to catch it when it's playing near you or on OTT when it comes out ♥️
😮Yes, Its a brilliant thriller with an intriguing plot, direction and top notch performances. A special applause to the editing team and sound department for taking the film to next level. The best thing about the film is you dont have that routine screenplay or drama and It is always on point. The last 15 minutes will keep you glued to the screen. The taking is fresh since there are no murder closeups or any undesired conversations or any justifications. The murders are not scary and can be watched by elderly. However, I would not recommend crime thrillers for kids. Suitable for Kids 👶👦👧: No Suitable for Elderly👴👵: Yes Suitable for Pregnant women🤰: No #Performances😎: The entire cast delivers brilliant performance especially R. Sarath Kumar, Ashok Selvan, Nikhila vimal and late Veteran actor Sarath Babu.
My first introduction to Tamil movie is Kamal Hassan Abhay 4:12 , If I was director and writer than I will take the core concept of the movie and show the topic in different but more more hardcore way
the tragedy of Bangalore is that there are more than 100 screenings here, but there is not even one with subtitles, and this is the case with most South Indian films here
No doubt that Anmol has come a long way. I've been following him from his initial days. His reviews and recommendations are worth a watch. However I feel that he is not a fan of tamil cinema. I was disappointed that he gave a full length review for a crap movie like Legend but when it came to review STR's VVK it was very short and seemed like a he just did it for the sake of it.
Bollywood should learn from this masterpiece. They are still stuck on garbage like jawan and people are still pouring their money. I've never seen any better suspense thriller movie like this and sharth sir performance send chills down my spine. Completely awestruck. Kudos to tamil industry
It's just like any vanilla serial killer movie I might have felt this because I have watched almost all the good serial killer movies from the south nothing to be hyped about in my opinion though a good one time watch
I felt the movie is Ok ok not worth the hype , especially second half is a let down. Villains character they did not establish properly. Mainly ot reminded of HIT series. Please don’t compare to rachasan
Watched this movie yesterday great recommendation ,I want to know your honest opinion about the last victim and ending of the movie. I found it a bit convenient.
I have seen the movie and yes you are hyping it, but it was refreshing to see this kind of movie from the Tamil industry. A good watch but too many coincidences happens at the end like yea so....
I recommend u to watch telugu film HIT- the first case , an Investigation thriller . While watching Por thozhil I got reminded of HIT . Except for an underwelming climax ( Motive ) , it was an exhilarating watch .
Watched it on first day in Hyd bro 🥲 was waiting for it for two weeks as well. I watch too many movies so I have a knack of judging which one to be ex tied for much ahead of time . 😂
