19SNARF66 it's only a part time thing from home so that I can still do my A-Levels, but it was purely by luck. The former SAFC researcher left and fortunately enough I sent an email by chance and got it, they say things happen for a reason I suppose!

Some people will say that Sports Interactive paid Copa90 for this vid. However it is true that many clubs are using FM data to scout players and from FM playing experience I can say that 60%+ times their wonderkids do end up big.

They are not actually paying the guys that do Research maybe they pay but not too much,i became a researcher and in the next year i will get copy of FM 18 and i will be featured in credits in game.So if you want to become a researcher just do it its a lot of fun :D

Damn! Its so crazy signing prospects and then a few years later they emerge in real life football. My best discovery was definitely Coutinho for Inter a few fm series back. What a player he's turned out to be and what an amazing game!

Salah won Ballon d'Or award in 2018 in my FM2016 save 2 years ago. At that time I never heard about him. This save is currently in 2046 and Salah is one of the legends of Barcelona haha

FM is my favourite because our country is scouted too. We are rank around 100-200 and seeing our players there, the same name and stats is awesome. Hoping you'll get better FM! Maybe make a past mode. I would like to play FM with the 80's or 90's database. Where I could get Maldini in transfer season xD

Match engine from FM13 onward still sucks. My team: 20 shots, 0 goals. Opposition: 1 shot, 1 goal. And don't tell me these type of shit happens in real life. Yes, it happens (Celtic - Barca couple of years ago, PSG - Marseille recently..), but it doesn't happen that often. But in football manager, when you build yourself a strong team (and I'm not playing with Barca, United, Bayern, I'm playing with my home team Hajduk Split), this shit still happens like 6-7 times in the season. And it is fucking annoying. I have 20-30 shots, good finishers, but I barely score 2 goals. On the other hand, my opponent scores 1 goal from 1 or 2 shots, and at the end I still win 2-1, but it FUCKING PISSES ME OFF. That is the reason I'm playing FM 2012, the best FM ever. I tried couple of seasons with FM15, but it just doesn't make any fucking sense whatsoever... I love Miles, the work he puts into this game, and I liked this video, but come on man, listen to the community more. 'Hey, you fucking suck at FM' comments incomiiiiiiiing :)

It's true that match engine sucks. Too many shots are being taken, the best players average more than 10 shots per game (Ronaldo averages the most, but he nevers goes beyond 7 shots per game (anymore)), also the best dribblers average around 15-16 successful dribbles per game (for example, last season Neymar with 4 per game was the best), the way possesion is caluclated makes no sense. I don't remember last time i saw teams like Bayern, Barcelona, Real having more than 70% of possesion against any opponent while in real life they do it every 3rd game, etc.. many things are wrong with match engine atm, which makes no sense for me because fm is essentially a football game, and match engine as such should have been perfected long time ago.

Did anyone else pick up Andy Robertson for seven million quid after Hull City's inevitable relegation in the first full season of FM2016? If you were playing that version as the Reds, you would have made the acquisition of a quality left-back a top transfer priority. But the astute football manager would have put that priority on the back burner for the first season at least. None of the other top clubs make any moves for him so you'll also be able to keep his wages relatively low, resulting in a super cheap first-team, quality left-back at a fraction of his true value. He'll be a star of the squad for the first decade at least

Tommy C Low end pcs/laptops are capable of running FM. FM also has mobile versions for iOS/Android (FMM) if you're struggling to run it on a PC

Also depends how many leagues you want to have loaded, if you want to have alot of leagues loaded you need a good CPU and at least 4 gb of ram.

The match engine is wank b'cos say your winger and striker can be clean through with one other defender from their team and he'll take a shot from 20 yards and it fly to into row z and rather than just square it to the other striker for 1-0... Then you can feel it scripted like in fifa... the other team will go straight up the pitch in 90+3 stoppage time and make it 1-0 and from there you go on a 3 -4 game loosing streak after winning 7 straight games... and will loose you the title... lol dunno how many times this happens... I still play fm 2012 its my fave out of the lot... 2016 was way to hard in my opinion... no matter what tactic i used always lost
