Me and my friends had a lot of fun with the Cube Monsters early and mid-game but late game, they make fights really one sided. They gave you a fun horde mode to play while you're waiting for the storm to move in or in between fights. But the best thing to play in Fortnite if you like that stuff is obviously STW.

The main problem with this event (in my opinion) was simply the way they made zombies spawn. It should have been the other way around, with more zombies spawning early game and then less during final circles so the playing field would be more level and fair. And I feel like the "PPs" had WAY to much health, since you'd be forced to shoot at it for a minute or more just to get zombies to stop spawning. Everything else was either great or OK. Jack-O-Launcher, however, remained being the best thing from Fortnitemares, as expected.

Ok this is coming from a guy who liked Fortnitemares. I think it was a nice change of pace for the game and made things a little more chaotic. Seriously, the situations my nephew and I ended up in during games reminded us of our CoD zombies days. Where we were ducking in and out of places, training the zombies around and then waiting for the right moments to attack. It was super fun and I never got mad losing in the mode due to the sheer intensity of it all. But if I were to improve the mode, here's what I would suggest. I think destroying the spawners should give materials. Too many times my nephew and I would farm the monsters and crystals, only to then end up in a fight and then realize, "oh crap, we have no materials". Another would be to make it the monsters need to have line of sight on you for them to attack. Again, in smaller circles if you are trying to hide and heal, they can for some reason just know where you are and break in like the kool-aid man. Making the top 10 or even 5 a total pain at times. Beyond that, I don't think all that much needed to change. Just a few changes to make the game more lucrative in terms of capability and otherwise. Though if anyone else has ideas, please share em. Always up for a discussion :)

Honestly I don't know why this game mode is hated, like I had the most fun on fortnite in awhile just playing fortnitemares. You could go to a corrupted area, maybe battle 2 people fight zombies and get god loot. I had an amazing time.

I really liked Fortnitemares, for once the game actually had a different feel to it. People shooting didn't always mean there were Players around, I could get good items for once (because normally I don't find any, and when I kill enemies my allies snatch all the good loot), a non-player threat you needed to consider and juggle felt like it added more to the otherwise empty bits of matches and added some (sometimes chaotic) dynamic to the fights- It felt more like a survival game like this, which I really liked. Overall I'm honestly disappointed the Cubemonsters aren't staying, I find the normal gamemodes almost boring now, but I do agree they could have made the Fortnitemares Event much better with a few changes. Overall the Cubemonsters gave almost too much good loot (facing rocketlaunchers and other high tier weapons became too common) and I think avoiding the Cubemonsters should have been a little easier, as in their current state they get aggro'd withing a really far distance and they just don't appear to ever really give up chasing. Additionally they needed the different colors for damage to Cubemonsters earlier (or maybe even no damage numbers for them at all) and not just when the Event was basically over already and the after-match stats should have had a separate counter for damage to Cubemonsters, instead of adding it to the player damage dealt. Note though, that my experience and opinion are based on like 95% Squad games, as I rarely play duo or solo. Cheers.

My friend and I vs the last other duo. He sniped one, so we glided in. The person was revived and my friend died. I 2v2d the, other players and killed one. The last one was on ONE HEALTH and before I shot (my aim was directly on him), I was hit by a zombie, which killed me. I was so triggered and still am

The more fortnite I see the more i realize that we may never get halo content again... I would personally be okay if you would maybe have a balance of halo and fortnite content but i also know that all of that editing can be difficult. Anyway it was fun being subbed to your channel. "team terror is the most polished version of fortnitemares" well i have fortnitemares 2019, so (it as kind of a rip off to stw player, it could have been free advertisment)

Fortnitemares was fun because the zombies filled in the gaps between players looting, and shooting other people. The game is pretty boring & monotonous if you have to spend each match doing nothing but run around for 10 minutes. The biggest problem with the zombies was how the cubes would sometimes spawn right on top of people and trap them. That glitch was literally game breaking, and I can totally understand people who hated Fortnitemares because of it.

I think it was pretty unique just a bit buggy, the first 50v50 didn’t work too good either so hopefully it’s going to be improved upon if they plan on bringing it back

Very late to this, but I was mixed about Fortnitemares. At the time, I was only playing Disco Domination, and as such, didn't complete ANY Fortnitemares challenges. Except the one that literally gave you 35 tiers. When Ice Storm came, I grinded that mode for the glider, and with current-day Retail Row, I sometimes go there. So, I kinda like 'em!
