Why Forza Horizon 3 is still the BEST! 

I can't believe 2016 was 8 years ago

Another point to make is, to me at least, is that the radio in Horizon 3 is a lot more memorable than the one in 4 and 5.

What I love about Forza Horizon 3 are the colors. There is just something about the colors of this game that makes it look better than Horizon 4 and 5.

The lobbies full of dart hemi’s and Porsche 959’s were iconic

Love the video I'd ramble on and on about this game but you kept it short and straight to the point. I have on occasion played three all the Horizon games from the start but I can't help but feel 3 was a lot more care related while 4 and 5 arent and so lack character

For me FH2 is still the best Horizon, but the map of FH3 is glorious, GOD, the GOAT, and also the soundtrack and the cars, if these games could be only 1, it will be the best Horizon.

My two main go to games are FH3 because its the goat and im an Aussie and love driving in my backyards, as well as Crew Motorfest since its modern and has modern cars in a map better than all forza maps except FH3

I just started playing the Horizon games after getting into Motorsport and for the life of me I don't understand the series. I started with 5 and thought it was extremely bland, and the game didn't have a progression system. Heard 4 was better with the seasons and yes it was, but once again the game didn't have a progression system. I would end up losing the races yet still advance to the next one, absolutely 0 point of competing in anything. From there I started doing research and heard the first three was the best, so I then picked up the third game only to find out it still didn't have a progression system. The map was definitely better, the soundtrack was great as well as the handling, but once again the races were pointless. After doing more research I found out only the first two games had progression so I purchased one and two. Both Horizon 1 and 2 are masterclass, they actually have progression and you go up the ranks, races actually have meaning, I also think they have better soundtracks. Maybe the later Horizon games are popular for being online, I'm not entirely sure, but I can't figure out the point of 3, 4 and 5 because races don't mean anything. Now some people will say the games are not about the challenge of winning races, but that's not true because the first two games have it. The truth is they started dumbing everything down over time, everyone becomes a winner and you can progress just for participating. I also don't feel I'm missing anything because when I start looking at formums, most fans agree the first two games are the best. The 3rd game is mostly noted for its map design, but even then I see lots of complaints with people saying the roads are too straight, and I can definitely see that. After Horizon 3, most fans seem to be agreeing on one common thing, the series then took a drastic nosedive.

Another thing that makes me love FH3 over the others are the radio station being way better and the convoy system, it's so fun to have an AI convoy to ride with, makes single player not feel so lonely, and I'm really sad they removed that from 4 and 5 Now one thing that makes me dislike is HOLY this game is ass to run on pc, I spent like 2 days trying different fixes to see if something could make it work on windows 11

I think it's simple. I treat FH4 and 5 as map expansions for FH3. Are map expansions worth the price of a full game? Not to me. So I wait and buy when it's on sale or the price heavily drops. I think it's fine to get a big new map for 20-30$. Even though it's still the same racing game. Sometimes I actually prefer that. Like Dirt Rally 2.0 and now EA WRC. They made a completely new game, with a new engine and everything. But it's not a better game. It looks worse, it runs worse, it drives about the same and VR is beta after half a year of release... Everyone would have been better off if it was just an expansion for Dirt Rally 2.0 with a new stages/cars and career mode... I would have spend 30-40$ on that expansion. Easily. But now I just bought EA WRC Rally in the summer sale for 17$!!! 17$ for a completely new game half a year after release. How can people buy games on release or even preorder?

The online in fh2 you didn’t have to win just drift and get skill points in fh3 you had to win or at least place 3rd with skill points system it was fantastic. Fh4 online is awful and fh5 even worse
