Its not just tera in Gliscors case. It kept a lot of key moves other pokemon lost, got new moves, and also was just in a better position vs key threats
i had no idea how my bat boi still get the W on his existence and usefulness team but i feel ashamed not having him on my team much to walkthrough of my days on pokemon games
I love this poké, I won countless battle tree/maison fights with him/her in the party. Jolly nature with Earthquake, Acrobatics, Fling and U-turn was my favourite.
Gliscor can Tera change typing to counter both of its weakness from other pokemons around that tier and gain a recovery from an ability because Gliscor doesn't get roost in this game.
Like I get it... it's versatile, but it's not this unstoppable pokemon. It has a 4x ice weakness. Even if it's tera water, like play around that. We gonna ban Toxapex too because he can put down hazards and take some hits? Like honestly. Smogon is going crazy with bans this generation. It's not like Gliscor is this wildcard with a whole new strategy to figure out. He's been around since gen 4, and if you're not a complete idiot, you know how to deal with one. It is funny though watching people in ranked battles in-game completely underestimate his defenses and assume that an Outrage or something is gonna blast through his defenses, and then you just stall them to death. I don't know why people forgot how good Gliscor is when he was missing from a generation, but it's time to start remembering. Ice beam is your friend.
Thing is, once your electric type goes down, you pretty much have nothing to hit it when it terastalizes water on the ice beam and just toxic your mon. Good luck trying to blast through Gliscor with anything else, it won't help at all
from a layman POV, dude just looked like it was too hard to kill and had too many options for stall and support too in the given context. Also, love your style. so concise yet I feel like I learn more than I need to
I saw someone use a Gliscor with Posion heal, Subsittute, Protect, Toxic, and Earthquake moveset. I’m just wondering what the best EVs to use with it would be.

If you cant handle gliscor please quit playing pokemon at all. Smogon should be banned. The idiots at smogon have made me despise "western" so called competitive pokemon. I will only pay attention to Japanese competitive singles pokemon here on out.

@@itztaytay2lie battle stadium singles on the official games is far more popular than an unofficial simulator. There's 50k people in masterball tier on battle stadium singles ranked. And thats just masterball tier not counting the lower tiers and battle stadium free battle. No one follows smogon rules if you battle on the official games.
@@afvpegknight Well comparing users is harder since showdown is free but for gen 9 OU there were 1.34 million ranked matches in the last month alone. Also any competitive content (such as tournaments with prize pools) are done through showdown or VGC (which is exclusively doubles)
