Wow! I have been asking God to remove my love for this man. My feelings are real. It's not the right time. He's not emotionally available for me. He's in another relationship that he knows he needs to end. I don't pursue him. Also, he has not done anything for me, but be my friend when he can and he's prayed for me. He knows there is a strong connection, and we both want to honor God. If it's meant for us to be together, God will move on his behalf & he'll make his free will choice to do whatever it takes for us to be together. Until then, I'll keep putting God 1st in my life. I'M there right now. I didn't know he lied about being single. He's all nice and loving when he wants intimacy. I know he only wanted me for one thinghisbut he fed me fairy tales. I can't believe I stayed for 7 mths when I had a hunch he was lying. I work within the same warehouse but different sections. He said he was in limbo between her and I. Today,I told him I wasn't an option or a choice. I was uses but I can't forgive myself for not leaving earlier. He even said the other girl treats him horribly, calls him names and was on a dating app sitting right beside him. I'm going to text him today (she checks all his texts and tracks his truck. I'm telling him I can't do this. I'm not a side chic. I am not used to the secrets and obviously he still wants her because he puts up with her putting him down. I have to get everything off my chest and hopefully she will see that I'm not a hoe like he said she called me.

I can relate, my husband passed 2022 as well. And he was my soulmate we were together for 29 years. He passed it broke the heck out of me. But God helped me and freed me from whatever depression tried holding me down. But he will forever be in my heart. But I won’t let it hold me back either. I beleive sometimes God does'nt even bring these people in our lives, it's our own flesh. Sometimes this is just lessons to get you to have a better relationship with God. Everything we ask for in relationships valuing, respect, honest , Love we have to build that with God first so we can then build this within ourselves so we can find that right person. At 42 i'm learning this , and even with going through a horrible breakup and it's hard. I beleive this is God courting me and saying daughter i'm here its my time. You hit it on the nail. Seeking and waiting for validation of the pain he caused would mean he was truly inested in who you were, and had internalized you. It is so understandable that you would want ths because you truly loved this person. The fact that he never showed remorse when he hurt you will keep you hanging on because you do not want to believe he did not connect with you in the same way. Most likely, he is not capable of that kind of connection- not toward you or anyone else. It is hard to find closure without the other person's explanation and validation, but we must find it somehow without them. He can not give you what he does not have the caacity for, even though you deserve to have gotten that. Wishing you peace.

I'm sorry to hear you are still missing him. I know the pain. It sucks. I'm going through the same. One thing that helps my healing, im training my brain to dismiss the thoughts of her. It's over and time to invest in myself. If I stayed in my relationship it would of killed me from anxiety. I made the decision to leave because my peace is better then suffering from the stress of her life. Some relationships won't work for whatever reasons.

Sometimes we just fall in love with people who are not right for us. This happened to me; I still have love for the person and he loves me, but I know if we were to get together again it would end the same way. I used to believe that if you love someone and they love you, that's all that matters and it will work out, but that simply isn't true. Yes, because it stirs up every insecurity we have ever had about our core value. If you had been given the time to see for yourself who this person really was, chances are you would have walked away at some point, knowing it was the best thing to do, It is much harder when we have been rejected before we have had a chance to see for ourselves that this person was never going to make us happy.

30+ years later, I still haven't been able to forget him no matter how hard I tried. In my constant dreams he's always so loving and protective of me. About 2 years ago, I saw him at our class reunion for the first time in years. I was leaving early just to avoid him when his best friend caught up to me. He expressed disbelief that I was leaving before his friend had an opportunity to see me. He immediately called him over. The love between us was undeniable. I left because I couldn't handle being face to face with him knowing he's married to someone else 💔

Great video! You might consider another reason a woman still loves a man. Narcissism. I was in a relationship for three years and he had me hooked. Literally. He was like a drug. Treat me nice, then treat me bad. I wanted him back so I'd accept anything. I couldn't understand how, if he said he loved me, then say and do horrible things to me. At the end, he ghosted me.. he left without warning. I was heartbroken. Then his new woman saw me on Facebook and wrote to me. He had done the same things to her. She said he was a narcissist if she ever saw one. So I started researching narcissism. I learned so much and I finally understood and I could let him go. Maybe it was love on my part, but maybe it wasn't. Maybe he was just a drug. That's how they operate. Give you some love (drug) and then take it away. You'll accept almost anything to have more. I still think about him, but it doesn't hurt anymore because I understand what it was now. He never loved me. So, my point is, maybe a woman still loves a man because she doesn't understand narcissism. I was able to get over it and heal, but I had to understand first. Thanks for this video. I'm single now and very happy. One day, the guy God has for me will come along. I'll wait.

That's why scripture says that we are not to create graven images of anything, including creating a mental image of how we want a person to be in our lives. Now you have to do something with the graven false image which is now part of your subconscious. The war of letting go is found in the subconscious and not with God. Answer? Be transformed by the renewing of your mind and replacing the lesser image with a greater image helps too. 😊

That happened exactly to me. Saw my husband the first time at 14, then actually met again at 16 broke up after 3months, he went back overseas. I never forgot him, went on to experience life and after 13 years he returned and we hooked up and got married 3 months later. One of the hardest things I had to learn from past relationships was I put too much into it too fast, before it was even reciprocated, and they took my kindness for weakness. I always heard, "love conquers all", thats true, but only if you both have genuine love for each other, not just one way. I also had the illusion in my head of what i wanted him to be, and not for what God was showing me for who he was. I learned my lesson!

Thank you for sharing this. I met a wonderful man who became my friend whilst I was going through a hard time in my marriage till I reached a point of divorce. He really supported me and at some point feelings developed. He took a decision to end the friendship because one he didn't want to act out of integrity, two he wants to give me space to heal and three he got conflicted with the fact that I have 3 kids from my marriage. I respect this man so much should he had gone ahead and lead us deep into a relationship I am sure I would have fumbled him but the space I have is allowing me to take my journey of healing with out any disturbance. Yet I miss him dearly and I realise that I do love him. The way he treated me makes me appreciate him, respect him.

Dear God in heaven, how many times I left my husband on the altar, only to pick him up again. Each week in church, God would speak to my heart, "di d you leave him o n the altar?" "Well, I thought i did. But no, here I was, still stressing. You need to give him to God. Then get closure. Walk through the door, and leave him on the others side, out of your mind. YOu have prayed. When you feel like you can't breathe, give him to God. Here's how to get closure (God showed me this!) Walk to the door. Step through. Close the door. And leave him on the other side. Don't let him in your mind. You've already prayed! God doesn't want you sad all day, he want you to give the person to him and leave him there. Keep moving forward, and focus on yourself. God's got this. Now you take care of you. Sit in a chair and make it the lamb's throne. Ask Jesus to hug you. Ask God to love on you. Make that chair a heavenly place where you feel God and receiive! You need to learn to receive God's love for yourself. I know you are an empath and it's so hard to receive, we want to give and give. But ask God to pour his love all over you. Ask him for THAT each day, so the enemy doesn't drain you. That's his plan. But love overcomes all. Not our love, but HIS love! So detach from that man, and plug into God. You got this!
