I had an ex try to come back twice on social media, and we haven't dated in 9 years. Wanted to be friends I said the devil is a lie to myself. I didn't even respond back to him i blocked him. Slience always speaks volumes. He thought I was weak because I am a empath. But God helped me to show him otherwise!!

I just went through this!! Together for years, the love of my life. He disappeared after an argument. Seven years later, he wants to come back. He gave all the excuses Stephan is mentioning. "He wasn't mature." "He wasn't sure I was the one." (that was a hurt piece), then in another breath "He wanted to ask me to marry him, but was scared" "Its not my fault I had a messed up, confused, stupid man." Yep, he was absolutely right, his insecurities is not my issue. I am sorry Stephan, I don't have time to figure out why he is coming back. All I know is I am not a revolving door.

I have a cousin that was in a relationship and there was a deep connection, but her family was against it. What Stephan is saying is so true about reconnecting. When we spoke after decades apart, it was as if we just talked yesterday. Like we had never been away from each other. In our situation it was circumstances not a problem with the relationship that caused us to go in different directions. Our connection is amazing- spirit to spirit. Truly “one flesh.” We’ve been back together for three years and now married for one. thanking God every day for what He has done for us.

In the past, when I stopped talking to a man, I would block his phone from my contacts to prevent this. They try, but they get the hint. This is such a pet peeve of mine, contact from loneliness or desperation or no other choices. 🤦🏻‍♀️

This video gave me a lot of clarity. I dated a man ten years ago (he was 25 at the time, I was 27), he ended up breaking up with me because he "wasn't ready". Time goes by, and he wants to get back together, I am assuming he thought I was the same "easy going" little 27 year old that dealt with all of his dismissive behavior. Anyways, long story short, we got back together and he has NOT CHANGED one single bit. He still had the dismissive behavior and other avoidant traits. I didn't deal with that very well, I am more outspoken now then I was ten years ago. We ended things 3 weeks ago, pretty badly too. I wish I saw this video before getting back with him... Thank you for all your work! I do appreciate it during this transitioning time I am going through.

The last point is crucial. Most of the time we overlooked the fact that it’s the interaction between two persons. He couldn’t come back, if you did not allow him to. The rest do not matter to me. Once either of us decided to quit the relationship, it’s simply not good enough to get it back.

In my case my ex did come back after almost 6 months because I looked good to him because he actually cheated while we were together and moved on with that person only to find out the grass was not greener 😊 I believe the reasons were because he missed our chemistry and sexual connection.Our relationship was really a situationship and once when I realized that I didn't want that anymore. I'm looking for a life partner ❤ I politely said no and haven't heard back. I'm happy and living my best life loving myself open to someone where we will both go all in.

When a man reveals himself to you the first time, *believe him*. It will save you your time, heartache, and whatever you'd have invested. Forgiveness does not mean you have to let him back in, 99% chance, he will go back to square one after a few weeks or months. Forgive and get on with your life, focusing on rebuilding a much better version of who he met to begin with.💯🇯🇲

He doesn't always come back because he cares for you. Some of them do but many don't. Excellent videos some other reasons why men come back Sex is a powerful thing for men seeking a physical connection. We as humans are also connected in other ways. Mentally connection do we vibe together? Emotional connection is the heart connection with each other. 2. You don't need him. You show him you have a life without him. 3. Control issue- He thinks I can her back. 4. It is comfortable/familiar- He thought the grass was greener. He knows who you are. He knows what you like/don't like. What makes you upset, etc? He knows what to do and what not to do. He doesn't need a GPS to know you. 5. He misses you. 6. You with someone new. Men don't like to be compared with other men esp. if an upgrade.

I love how you broke down all the reasons someone might try to come back. I understand a great deal about people myself and I always look into the “why” or “how” a man became the way they are and I do definitely factor in maturity. There’s a lot of good actors and fakers out there sadly. I recently broke up with a man because even though he asked me to be exclusive and stated repeatedly he wasn’t talking to anyone else and even went as far as to say he didn’t have time for anyone other than me. Red flags went off because I’ve heard that before and the truth is if you want to cheat you make time. I say all this to say it became evident that he was talking to at LEAST 2 other women. Probably more. Psychologically I realize he probably has some unhealed wounds. To have a woman who pouring into him, that he stated was everything he wanted. But knowing the things he may need healed does NOT mean I should stay or allow him to continue side chats or emotional attachments with other women when we are supposed to be exclusive. There was definitely a connection and it breaks my heart that he didn’t see my worth or his own. My prayer is that he grows in the Lord as well in maturity and never does to anyone else what he did to me. These type of individuals seem to find my authentic heart. Not to say I’m perfect, I’m perfectly imperfect, but I almost want to say I should be used to this by now. Honestly no one EVER gets used to being lied to or cheated on or not valued. I trust and believe in Gods plan. Although I’ve had many traumatic experiences and domestic violence I STILL believe in love. I believe in good men being out there. Ultimately I believe that God really truly has someone for me. Who will love, value, respect me and vice versa. I love your videos. This highlights my biggest issue with social media. It makes it harder for “Ex’s” to stay “Ex’s” and in the past. It’s a problem when people stay updated with their “Ex’s” or romantic partners lives, years later while in another relationship. It’s a problem people.

I am in stitches over here laughing about a guy I know who has been posting relationship videos with Bible scriptures on several social media platforms talking about "a good woman" & "a good man" when he can't even keep a good woman, has been married 3 times, the last woman he was with walked out & left him, still wears a wedding band to keep up a false image that he's in a relationship to unsuspecting viewers & has yet to disclose such facts in lieu of likes & views. Ladies need to start doing their due diligence & being cautious about taking advice from internet characters they know very little about. Know your worth!

Me and my hubby just broke up and it's sad it's already three past months, the reason why we didn't work out was that every time i ask him about the future he said I don't know, and I asked him too that "if we are already this close then why won't you marry me?" He was a good man and we never fought too, but somehow along the way, he got busy and just (most of the time) left me on read (i felt ignored) it's like i'm in a relationship but i felt lonely. I had a man who gave me everything. He would do anything for me; BUT, he’s nasty. Doesn’t want to shower, wash his hands, or use a condom. He also smokes. I recently had a transplant and I told him I must be careful with intimacy. He says I just don’t want to be with him. I know I am alone; but he is disgusting, selfish and disrespectful. I am in remission as a cancer patient. We are done.

All of these considerations and disclaimers are proof positive that everything in dating, mating and relating is eventual.

I could see your point if the man was immature but not abusive. I was raised by abusive parents so I ended up with very abusive men. I would not take any of those men back. Single and growing now 8 months; not closed but not looking yet either. I am working on myself healing and relearning from great videos like yours what a good man really is, and how I should be treated. Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago, The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. Wow! This is happening to me right now! My bf from when we were teens recently contacted me, after 40 years, and came back into my life. One issue: he has lived platonically for 20 years with the mother of his children. He tells me he’s only loved me and has always thought of me all these years. And I also thought of him. We began talking like we never stopped! He told me he has never had a connection like he does with me with any other woman. And I feel the same way. And there are so many odd coincidences of us doing things, having dreams, and thinking exactly the same. Not sure where this is going though. And not sure what to do…..❤

My man said he was feeling “trapped,” so I gracefully bowed out, no hard feelings. He immediately came back and said he made a big mistake, but I had moved on. Two years later, he said he has never dated since, doesn’t want anyone else, still loves me. We’ve been happy ever since, and he’s extremely attentive and loyal. No underlying issues. It was just his fear of commitment after being burned by two other women in his life. He’s past it.

I was very close/intimate with a guy. We weren't in a relationship but it was getting to that point where it would be serious or not. He walked out one night, saying things like he was an emotional bastard, i could do better, maybe he was making a mistake leaving etc. I let him go even when it hurt like hell for me. Next morning he texted me. To this day I just can't understand the male logic to reach out, after walking out on someone, just to ask if they're ok. I said I needed space and blocked him out completely. I knew I wouldn't be able to move on with him there. A week later he had said he had a new gf anyway. So much for the commitment issues he told me he had. Glad I dodged a gigantic bullet with that one lol.

Well, i have dealt with alot of narcissistic men, including my dad, so i was looking for familiarity in my dad, because of the love I didnt receive from him. I didnt know what it was at the time, but now I see I was just an object to all of them. When they come back, believe me its for their own gratification, and not for your best interest. I had alot of unhealthy attachments, I thought was love.❤ So, now im guarded, and its hard to even let my guard down to a normal, healthy , and happy, relationship.

My guy left me then 6 months later wanted me back. I did not trust him for some reason so I could not say yes. After couple of months he got engaged and got married. She was someone completely new, I know that for sure. So was he lying to me? I had connection with him that was really deep and it's been many years since all of that happened.
