A grown up man who does not want to commit is still a boy who has not turned into a man yet. Let him stay a boy & just say ‘Goodbye’ / ‘Salaam’ / ‘FeeAmanAllah’. You want to be a WIFE to your husband not a mommy to someone who still wants to be a little boy. On a side note sisters I just do not think it is a good idea for women esp. Muslim sisters to chase after men. If he VALUES you he will want you in his life as his WIFE. Otherwise, he’s got other things on his mind that you really don’t need to bother or concern yourself with. Your life is a gift from Allah swt and you have a purpose in life. Don’t waste it just waiting for a man to give it meaning and purpose esp. one who hasn’t even figured out his own purpose yet.

Another thing to keep in mind as well. If he oversteps your boundaries, even if it does not seem that bad of an overstep, do not let them come back after you break things off. Some men will come back, bending over backwards with elaborate apologies and how miserable they've been without you. Do Not allow them back in your life! It will be a sunshine and roses for a while, and they may seek a faster track to marriage. There are some people who will try to establish a pattern that way, and you may be in for a ride where every time you allow then back into your favor or even your door, ,the next boundariy crossed will be worse, and it becomes like being slowly boiled alive. Know and establish your boundaries first, before ever starting the path towards matrimony, and keep those boundaries clad in iron. There are many sadder but wiser Muslimahs out there.💔

I think some sisters also have to accept the fact they won't get married young. Sometimes sisters ignore red flags just to get married at a specific time not realizing that time isn't what is best for you

Trust me on this one, I am speaking as a young Muslim man myself, who has been around many Muslim men. Most of us do NOT have unrealistic expectations of how a wife should be or look like. Most of us are willing to commit, Wallahi we are. But on the flip side, I’ve seen sisters who chase the wrong types of men, the phenomenal “bad boys”, then these bad men mistreat and abuse them, until he leaves her. Then guess what happens next? “Boo hoo where have all the good men gone?” Take heed, sisters. I gave you the warning. Now change yourselves before it’s too late. Assalamu alaikum

@@MC-fw5vt Alhamdulillah I’m on a journey of self-improvement. While I’m not perfect, I don’t drink/smoke/do drugs, and I’m not in a haraam relationship. I never did these things. I do my best to maintain my 5 daily prayers and do as many good deeds as possible. Again, I’m not perfect. But you haven’t interacted me in real life. You don’t know who I am or what personality I possess. What is one flaw you know about me that I should change? Short answer: Because he isn't in your destiny/Qadar. You deserve better ladies. Allah swt might be saving someone better for you in this World or Hereafter. The dude you like, could be domestically abusive and Allah swt is blocking your marriage with him for that very reason.

I like your straight talk. My grandmother used to say, "why buy a cow when the milk's so cheap?" From what I see also, a lot of Muslim parents spoil their little boys, thinking they will one day take care of them. But all this does is make the boy unable to take care of anyone, including himself, when he becomes a man. Some men are never ready because of this. I hope parents will raise their sons as strictly as they do their daughters, because that strictness will teach them how to care for others.

These are good points. No matter what we do, what effort we made or even his family like us. If Allah say (qadr) that he is not for us, then he is not for us. He wont make any move even as small as start the conversation. Then walk away, move on or forget it. Set our marriage goal clear. Dont chase or attached to creation. Only Allah as creator that we need to be attached.

That is understandable. It’s not usually an easy pill to swallow but that is where your faith is tested, can you accept the decree of God and trust in him well enough to know that he has a better plan for you? To show faith is partly to do with accepting the will of God over ones desires in the affairs of your life.

I had heard of wives refusing to cook what their husband prefers! Wow! Why? Yes! Make sure he’s ready to be responsible. My Dad says don’t go in their cars and don’t go to their rooms. My husband is a religious Muslim so he brought up getting married. Odd in US when not dating. Good video, great advice!❤❤❤

What you said about insecurities and what it can do to our mental health unfortunately I was the victim of that a couple of years ago but from a female friend. Yes it happens in friendship also. And you are right they don't know how damaged they are I think in the past she was abandoned by her friend and it caused her to be so possessive and controlling of me.

To all Muslima sisters: please do istikhara before each and every marriage prospect. In fact, do istikhara even before exchanging contact information. Then Allah SWT will become your Wali, and take control of how situations unfold. When warning signs present, please do your part and heed them, and when the situation gets to breaking point, do break things off. If the person happens to come back for any reason later, look at the situation from a practical perspective, consult with family, and do istikhara AGAIN. Keep your guard up at all times and be prayerful throughout the getting-to-know-you stage until marriage happens. You’ll need another set of behaviors once marriage does happen, but that is another post for another day.

You're very right I did the same as you saying in my new relationship and thankfully I was thinking he was gonna go away when I said I wasn't in for sex or dating but wanted something halal and amazingly he didn't live he asked for my mum's contact that instant and the next day he came to see my mum thou he is married and is wanting to make me the second wife I believe we ladies should just value ourselves and not throw ourselves at every guy that comes our way and let's not forget to make Dua but I need little advice in the cooking part ive not visited him yet and I'm not planning to till marriage he came home twice in the presence of my family but he wants me to cook for him which I did last week with my own money today he is demanding for me to cook for him again in the weekends and I've told him he will have to fund it then is it cool that way

Perhaps he is not committing to you because you’ve shown him what life would be with you. If you’re argumentative, dramatic, disrespectful or simply disagreeable you will find that most men will not want to make you their wife. We live in a day and age where women are told to ‘speak their truth’ and be a ‘bad b*tch’ resulting in unmarriageable women

Not always true. Sure there are few women making it themselves impossible by being that bad bitch. But on the other hand ive seen many good humble housewives who got played and fooled over, abused and left for divorce with a kid, left for "a bad bitch"
