I have seen enough Myst videos to know that even if you do not roll for Hepaestion, she will come for you while you are rolling for other servants. A general pool servant will have to try really hard to distract me from the limited SSRs down the line.
How 2024 should be for a quartz-mindful player: If quick is your thing: summon Summer Skadi and nothing else. If arts is your thing: summon Summer Ibuki (and Lady Avalon, just in case you don't already have Merlin) and nothing else. If buster is your thing: just skip the whole year and summon Kuku and Tiamat next year. This is what Reason would say... But then, waifu is laifu. So who cares?
@@hustlazchris6972 About Arcueid, she's definitely a good 3 turn Black Grail Buster looper. However, she suffers from both a relatively low attack stat and a NP battery skill with a cooldown too long which forces her into peculiar team comps (like the double Koyanskaya team, with Atlas Academy mystic code, or a double Oberon team with Plug suit or it updated version plus another support that can charge at least 50% battery). Compared to those team comps, I think that the - let's say - regular double Koyanskaya plus Oberon is better. It may not do as much damage on wave 3, but it does more dmg on wave 1 and 2 without being so far behind in wave 3. Thus, at the moment i think that Melusine is a better omni-farmer than Arcueid. You could solve this issue with Summer Ibuki, but first it would be only a partial solution (since a double Koyanskaya plus Oberon should still be ahead in terms of dmg) and second summoning Summer Ibuki just to use her as support sounds weird to me. Better to just use Ibuki with double Castoria then.
@@hustlazchris6972 Problem is, if you got Koyan Dark for waifu reasons is fine, but if you got her because you wanted a high damaging foreigner for buster farming, i believe that waiting for Kuku next year would have been a better use of the limited quartz we get for free. Provided that the dmg difference between the two is not huge, but it's still there nonetheless.
Managed to get NP2 Reines and NP1 Hephaestion. With getting my Osakabihime to NP2 and Parvati to NP4 along the way. Used 10 tickets and 3 rolls. Best of luck to anyone rolling for the banner !
I like flexible and unique servants too but im glad I can get her thru ticket later since i spend all my remaining sq on Taira. Plus im planning to get Kriemhild so its probably redundant to get her now too.
Eh, given that I have to assume to hit pity for the 3 servants that I want this year (yes my luck is that bad) I can't justify spending any sq on a servant that's best described as "4* generic decent dps".
I started playing FGO rolling at Reines + Astraea banner wanting Astraea 2+ years ago. I got Reines instead, no Astraea. Recently rolled again in Reines + Hephaestion banner to get Hephaestion. Again, no 4-star, but got Reines again (NP2). WHY. Just WHY, Lasagnaaa!
yup, Im rolling for just Hephty and not Reines >.> so far only NP3, HOOOOOOOOOOPEFULLY I'll get at least a 4th so the 5th can be obtained through ticket later on
I'd pull for her solely because she has heterochromia. Tempting as that is, I must resist. I want to save up for Lady Avalon to help strengthen my Melusine.
Okay so the power mod thing in the beginning of the video, me personally I do not find them great at all. Often times power mods can be crazy against the unit with it, but it makes the unit restrictive to doing crazy damage specifically against that mod which I find lacks versatility. So I like general servants way better than those who rely on power mods.
This is like never the case, most have normal dmg but a giant boost against a certain type of enemy, pick like sigurd he has second highest ST saber dmg and goes even stronger vs dragon.
@@GS_CCC And then you proceed to never use the Sigurd outside of his modification again. And if the enemy isn’t a certain class, you’d be better off using a big type advantage DPS in place of him.

JP has ordeal call 1 Enemy nodes already, and we still have no lancer enemy node so if anything Sigurd is the Easiest ST saber to consistently use since there is already a node that the enemy is a dragon so even without class adv he is able to kill it. Having a dmg mod is just a positive, not that important 99% of the time but better to have then just deal the same as everyone else without also having a niche.
@@GS_CCC Naturally he can kill it, you can kill almost anything with nearly any Servant, but without class advantage you would have to see if it’s optimal. I’m not saying a damage mod is bad, but I would say a unit who does damage without it is better, because they don’t have a niche and you can use them in more places. A Servant with damage mod is great but for a specific use. A lack of versatility can be sad, especially if you enjoy that Servant a lot. Because what you’re thinking about is specific hard content, not content generally. A damage mod servant is a one trick pony, one who does damage without the need of a mod is a versatile and widely used Servant. Hell, two good examples are Koyanskaya and Castoria, who grant damage modifications. The mods in particular good for specific scenarios, but often times you’re never going to use them for their mods unless FOR those specific scenarios. If a Servant came out buffing PURELY with damage mods, rather than buffing overall attack damage or whatever, you can clearly see which would be the better Servant. Because damage mods are niche, depending on the mod in particular though.
@@TheBlackGoku bro, most of the servants with dmg mods deal the same as the others when they are hitting a normal enemy. Not everyone Musashi or Enkidu(has dmg mod), most have a similar dmg range.
Nuh uh , there are a lot better units and she will be in the free sr ticket and she’s non limited so literally no point on rolling for her when there’s a lot of great units that are coming or coming back so skip
In the last Month I got Melusine NP3 in 450SQ, Koyanskaya NP2 in 250SQ, Skadi in 6SQ, Hokusai in 12SQ. But I’ve spent 570SQ on this banner and got only 1 Hephaistíon and 0 Reines 😭
