Why High School SUCKS (Compared to College) 

All these videos have helped me beyond belief but I’ve decided to just get my doctorate at MIT and just go to Mississippi State . So thank you for all these useful tips!

How to keep your minds ready for school next year in the summer? BTW I am going to be a sophomore

Hey Greg! I'm a sophomore in high school and i've taken "3 years" worth of Spanish and I have no passion for it. I am not taking it this year and am wondering if I should consider taking AP Spanish lit next year for my fourth year of Spanish to help in college admissions. I do not enjoy Spanish and think it will decrease my chances of top 10, what should I do?

Also, I am going into sophomore year next year, but am thinking about attending a High School program called Richland Collegiate College my junior and senior year. It is basically me getting my associated degree and going to class with college students instead of my last two years of high school. Idk if youre familiar with it at all, but I would love to have your opinion:)

Hey Greg, what's your opinion on pre-college summer programs? Are they worth it? Does doing one in a specific ivy league college hurt your chances of getting into another you didn't do a pre-college program in, since that college may think they're not a preference to you? How much do they contribute to your college resume, if you do something that goes in line with your two passions that you've mentioned, and especially if you do multiple?

I would say that you also get to choose which college/university that you attend, which degree and major that you do and what classes that you take (although this degree of choice depends on your SAT score and the strength of your college applications etc). Thereby you are around people in classes who have similar interests and career goals to you and this would make it easier to make friends with people in college. This is opposed to high school where you don’t get any (or much) choice in where you go and the types of people that you attend classes with who have varying and differing interests to you. So I guess what I’m trying to say is that you have better control over the types of environments that you are in and people that you are around (who are more like-minded) in college.

About the cafe food it's not always bad like if you go to a private school they have great food. Also the main reason why high school sucks s because we are wasting our time learning and memorizing random stuff we probably won't use in real life.

I will tell you that when I went to Cal State LA, the club Eaglecon had attracted me the most. What I like about it is it is optional. In high school, teachers and parents will make sure students get involved in social activities and high school is known to refuse to take no for an answer. Then when something goes wrong, high school will refused to admit fault and will allow popular students pick on solitude students who attend social events. High school is not capable of creating an anti bully system and refuse to admit fault due to their tradition. When a popular student lied about me being a stalker, a teacher believes it. So in high school, popular students gets away bullying others without getting in trouble even if they get caught. As for college, they leave solitude student alone, and they let student come and go as they please.

Sooo in my country Croatia there is a new program it sucks beacuse stundents discover and find answer on their own so basicly we have more homework

Eagle Con in Cal State LA can also host a Mario Smash Bros video game tournament. I went like wow! High School never did that. There was a time when Eaglecon took us to Marriot Hotel. I went like wow, high school does not offer us any offsite party event. Eaglecon lets us come and go as we please. I went like wow, high school parties/events do not let student come and go as they please. Eaglecon also do not shame students for doing homework. I went like wow, when I attended high school, attending parties or events means I have to fall behind on homework schedules.
