Just checked out the Rockrider and it has roundabout the same type of spec as the Rockhopper, on a good point too, it is cheaper than the Rockhopper but what you have to think about is after sales value when you decide to sell it, the Specialized brand sells itself, both can be easily upgraded but if you can get a second hand one like the Elite or Expert that's been knocked down in price and hardly used for the same price as a new lower spec model that would be great, I'll never pay full price for a new bike again, they aren't worth it anymore.
I love mountain bikes and this is my dream mountain bike to have one day, plus can't wait to have fun with it as well as get to know what the bike can do.
Get the XL as the Large will be too small for you, I have a 32 inside leg and I can sit on the frame, at least go down to your local bike shop and try it for size.
The adds are a pain in the ass, plus they have started putting them into the video itself, there's gonna be a point where all you'll see is advert after advert, basically trying to get us to pay for ad free subscription.
