My thoughts on the Legendary Seiko Diver's SKX013 7S26 - 0030. This legendary diver is gone but still lives on..... Hit me up on IG: / kcytimepieces #skx013 #seiko #seikoskx
just picked one up used and couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase, got lucky and mine was in great condition, hardly any wear on the bezel / band, with all original parts, my “DIVERS 200M” has also faded into a yellow, nice watch brother!
Nice vid! Just purchased a NOS SKX013 with box and papers for $400. Thought it was a good deal. Can’t wait for it to be delivered. I also have an SKX009J. I think these will be pretty collectible in the future, especially unmodified ones.
I also got an SKX013 in 2023, after buying, selling and rebuying SKX007s. For me, the SKX013 is the better looking watch with its vintage dimensions and for my smallish wrist. I have it on an Uncle Beads of Rice bracelet and it's just wow.
Here's an owner of SKX013! I've been wearing it for 4-5 years and love it! Planning to upgrade it soon but should I keep it in my collection or sell it?
Sounds like you built a lot of memories with your skx013. You mean upgrading to a new watch or upgrading to sapphire crysyal(mod). Newer seiko have a better movement, but this skx013 is already a classic. I'd keep it man.
The orange version of this watch is stupid rare if you ever see one grab it

5kx line has nothing to do with the original skx..and I'm not talking about the specs, but also about the design, the dial etc. Seiko skx is a very good investment. You will be able to buy a new old stock skx for a few thousand in a few years...if you can find one of course. Nothing that came out on the market from Seiko in recent years or other models are like skx..whatever some say. It is already considered vintage since was produced from 1996, but they are also rare because no one really sells the SKX007 anymore, being very collectible. It will be quite difficult to catch an unmodified skx in the next years. I personally just bought 3 new old stock from an individual who had 6 skx007, brand new, $240 each. When I called to get more...they were already sold... Wait 5 years from now...people will be able to trade a nos skx..for a Rolex. Why? Because Rolex is still produced...while Skx is no longer produced and has become a classic neo-vintage tool.
@@KirbyYoungsorry for the late response. I’ve had it now for multiple months. It’s become my favorite watch by far, it’s a tank. Only complaint is that I wish I got a 007 with a black bezel, more versatile. Nontheless, amazing watch.
I still have and SKX007 and SKX009. I hadn't worn them often for a few years but got them back out and was surprised how thin they are. I never wanted an SKX013 until I watched this video. I have been enjoying some smaller watches lately. I hope you wear this watch in good health for years to come. When are they going to make a Seiko 5 in 38mm? It seems like logical move.
Thanks man! It is a small diver. Basically a smaller skx007 with minor differences. They already have released the srpk29. Unfortunately not a screw down crown.
Got myself one from a collector, paid around 285USD for it. It still has the blue sticker on the back. I had the watch verified by a fellow collector and its authentic. The only thing that baffles me is that the warranty card isn't filled out, I don't have an idea why is that.
From where I'm from. It takes about a day to have it repaired and the crystal restored by my local watchmaker in the area. Right about half the price I paid for the watch to have it repaired.
This thing been hyped way too much for what it is, I got seiko divers, and a citizen one, that hacks, with perfect alignment and much nicer everything for much less.
