I had a 13 genesis coupe 2.0T BK2 , once i paid it off at the dealership i worked at the time someone traded a 2016 Chevy SS & i jumped at the opportunity to get a nice rare V8 sedan , no regrets , going LSA on it soon too
G8 owner here in Maryland. Trying to scrape up funds for a turbo kit now. TSP cam, ZL1 converter, 3.27 Camaro rear, OBX headers/X-pipe, Magnaflow axlebacks with J-pipes, LS7 MAF, Vararam and self tuned. That parking lot looks like Roses in Ocean City. Lol
Your radio isn't working because the VE has problems with the wires coming loose behind it. Remove it and tighten the wiring and it will work again. You can watch videos on RU-vid how to remove it and do so.
I know one dumb question that annoys me, "Is that a G6?". 😂. Bought mine in '09 and I got that question a lot over the years. No one ever knew what it was. Not so much any more. Now, I get a lot of thumbs up and guys eyeballin' my girl.
In today's market, you can't touch a g8 under 18k to 25k unless it's got over 130k problems, etc I was lucky to find a 20k mile gxp on let go in 2017 for 19k and my gt at a cadillac dealer when I was shopping for a cts-v later that year I paid 15k with 40k miles do to it being a smoker car I've heavily modified it to a 408 harthrop supercharger and an waiting on a Holden clip to convert it to a hsv I've modified plenty of ppv caprice in different stages of cams, etc the parts are a wide range of vehicles from a camaro to a cts-v chevy ss if you ever need doors for a g8 look at wrecked 11-13 caprice there basically leftovers g8s I part out g8s.. find someone who specializes in fiberglass or carbon fiber and have them build a carbon fiber insert into your frt bumper with a curved piece of aluminum as a support the fiberglass will be molded as support from turn signals
@MrChickenwayne if you look around, you probably could find one on copart that someone has hit a dog with or light front end damage and rebuild it you could also find a 11-13 caprice ppv for around 8k and build it the way you want
I have full bolt ons and I’m cammed, city mpg I get between 12.5-15 depending on how I drive, freeway I can get up to 25 mpg depending on what I cruise at
Chop is altered in the tune. Don’t get a cam just for chop. Your car will drive like shit and you will have wasted your money. Pick according to what you will do with the car. I’m going with a blp shots fired cam.
