I got one for around 0.8 ETH, have since gotten offers all the way up to 16 ETH (: Now things have calmed so I'm consistently getting around 6 ETH offers, lower but still insane. And I'm not selling cuz I'm going to the convention (and the NFTs are essentially the tickets to the convention). Wish I'd gotten one more 😂😢 We all underestimated him haha As a side-note, I've been following him for at least 3 years now, and can attribute so much of my success here on RU-vid and other platforms to what I learned from Gary. It's a shame, when people see an opportunity - it will be there. If all they see / judge fast as a scam - there will be no opportunity.

I actually bailed on the Logan Paul NFT launch (crypto zoo) in the last minute as it was really shady, messy and unclear. Managed to sell his token for a nice profit, so can't complain 😅 Lot's of scams & crap out there for sure.

​@@LittleRainGames I'll give you a couple: Going all in on FB ads - paid off significantly as I was able to sell a lot of my video courses (watercolor & drawing). Back when I began following this advice ad prices were pretty awesome, and it was much easier to stay profitable, now prices have gone up, so I'm happy I was able to start doing more of that back then. Segmenting as much as possible - targeting multiple specific audiences in the ads, and catering every add to that specific audience, down to the "New Yorker? Try .... etc...". Converts much better and respects the person who watches the ad (compare that to the Vanilla ads you sometimes get on pre-roll on RU-vid. Seeing the same irrelevant one that sometimes even misgenders you. Creating MORE content on social media - sounds obvious but when I was getting my business off the ground 7 years ago, I would only do the occasional RU-vid vid, and work mainly on books & writing. This got me into IG, TikTok, LinkedIn even. And helped me grow here on RU-vid and actually make a living from my art. Creating content that's contextual to the platform - people have a different mindset when they are on LinkedIn, as opposed to IG, as opposed to Snapchat etc... If you want your content to work for the platform, you HAVE TO make it as contextual as possible. Generally observing behavior of people - that was a complete mindset shift to me, and something I was completely blind to in the past. If everyone around you are talking about an app - actually try using it to understand the market better. Think about how it can fit into your business. This is something Gary ALWAYS talks about. And on top of those, there is a lot that's more of a mindset level as I mentioned in another comment. Hard work CAN beat a lot of other variables and weaknesses one has. ALWAYS have the customer in mind, it's almost like a religion for a business. As long as you do that, you will get value back from it. I answer every message request on IG, and try to always engage in the comments, emails etc... An interesting comparison - I painted Ethan in the past (a pretty good painting in my opinion, can be found on my channel by searching "Painting Ethan from h3" or something like that). I tried on like 6 occasions to get the painting through to them, through Ethan, Hila, Dan and more. Haven't gotten a response ever. Guess what happened when I emailed Gary Vee? Got a response within a day or two. He's ON IT. And it wasn't even HIS painting, I painted someone on his team, and wanted it to get to them. He also consistently hearts my comments, and responds once in a while. And remember, he's on a similar scale to H3 in terms of size and following (more or less, I'm not closely following the numbers). I'm not blaming H3, they get a MASSIVE AMOUNT on engagement, and I'm sure they sometimes engage back. To me what he does is far and beyond, it's the extra mile. When you truly care about your audience / customers, you make that extra effort. I personally try to (of course I'm nowhere near the size of H3 / Gary), and Gary definitely lives this. So yep (: I'm sure you didn't want that much, but oh well 😂 That's what I love about the RU-vid comment section Hopefully someone will benefit from it.

Dont try to speak for the entire small artist community bruh. The technology here is OBV built in a decentralized way to empower the original creator. OK so let's imagine someone does this. Blockchains are digital ledgers so the people who steal others art will be exposed and ruin their reputation forever.

Then make sure the artists confirms the NFT through Twitter by linking to it. People are selling fake merch tshirts too. Spending a few hundred dollars on an actual good NFT painting is nice for the artist, although the cost to mint them is already $50-250 or something, so a lot of wasted money. Tens of thousands for these terrible drawings is insane though.

Then he started a wine show on youtube before anyone had made shows on that platform. Then he invested early in tech startups that would become big. Everything he as learned he gives away for free. Yes, he's a special person who works a lot and not many can replicate a personality like that. But it's not like anyone can do what he does just because his parents has a business. How many businesses exists? And how may business owners have kids? Are all those kids as successful as GV? No.
