I’m not gonna lie. I bought a left over 2019 Panigale 959 this past May.y kick stand was faulty after only a couple rides. I literally almost dropped the bike. Then the seal went on my steering dampener just a few weeks ago and I’m going to have to take it to the dealership. It’s covered under my warranty but unfortunately I’ve had to experience some of what u were taking about in this video. I love my bike, it’s the sexiest bike I’ve owned in my short time riding but I’m questioning if I’m going to keep it.

@@ihateeverything3972 I don’t actually have seen a ton of his stuff and mostly good but there are some interesting inconsistencies between his videos. The Poser vid he talked about quality miles over quantity but is worried about getting parts again low miles. He was begging Ducati to make a V4 street fighter then when it happened didn’t want it because of Carlin Dunn. He wouldn’t put a exhaust system on his Aprilia (and sold it because he got a speeding ticket) but immediately puts one on his MT09 then puts it up for sale to get a year newer MT09 again. I don’t know as a fan of the channel it’s weird watching this guy flip-flop and basically become a Yamaha channel at this point and hate on Ducati when he sells his bikes in less than a year anyway. Still a fan of the channel he has a like from me on almost every vid just wish this guy stayed consistent.

I think as a rule, things should only be expensive because the quality is great. The name becomes expensive because the product justifies it. If the quality sucks, then it shouldn’t be so expensive. Rich or not, if you’re not getting your money’s worth, it’s crap.

I'll be honest if you buy an Italian super bike you need to accept that you'll have some minor issues from time to time. But I've had my 2018 959 for a little over 2.5 years 10,000+ miles and I've had no real issues. It's still the coolest thing I've ever owned and I look back at it every single time I leave it in a parking lot.

First day owning it, gear selector retention spring broke, shortly followed by a faulty voltage regulator and battery. Needed to buy specialty tools just for chain adjustment. Wonderful bike when it's running right, and I can really appreciate the Italian stallion when operating at full potential.

What trailblazing? Too much focus on form over function. They cant even decide on what works for them. Desmo or Granturismo, V2 or V4, Trellis or Perimeter. Their bikes only make good power at higher compression ratios and RPMs which compromises reliability. The Japanese found the winning formula decades ago and have pretty much stuck to it. Revzilla just demonstrated how a 15 year GSXR beat the crap out of a $30k V4S.

I have a 2005 Monster 620 that has never had a single problem. It still ping-taps down the road today. Also have a 2014 Monster 1200s with no problems. The 1200 is wicked fun and looks badass. Weird how that works sometimes. They must have issues with quality control. Italians of course, have a much different view about work than Americans. Work is a part of life for them, not instead of life like us. I also have an old 89 KZ1000P that stays in various states of repair. It still runs despite having almost 90,000 miles on it.

I had a Diavel and at 998 miles, the gearbox locked up. The entire engine had to be disassembled to fix it. It was never the same. I almost got a monster years ago. I'm glad I didn't. I love sexy exotic bikes, but I can't afford the parts+shipping, shop rates and special tools. I ride a Triumph (06 speed triple) and a KTM (07 990 super duke). Both what I consider somewhat exotic but I'm not wealthy either and I decided if I'm going to own an exotic bike, I better know how to wrench on them, and so I learned (and still learning). The Triumph's engine is bulletproof and hasn't given me any major issues (everything fixable by me) and parts can be found on eBay. Nothing is as reliable as a Japanese bike though for sure. That's why I love living here in Virginia ! Back home in Hawaii, there's one Ducati dealer who sells Ducati's but as you can imagine the expense is double or triple that of 'Mainland' maintenance price due to the distance of distribution to get the parts. Also, there's no MV Agusta dealers in Hawaii. So, in that sense, Hawaii sucks...lol.....

Ducati is crap, just take a look at the engine test here in youtube “they find 50, 100 and even 150 micrometers particles inside their new engines “that includes all Panigales, naked bikes and even MotoGp engines! Only Ducati and chinese brands have those metal particles for normal use inside the engines. That means his engines have bad quality and makes that 3 of 10 new bikes fail in the first year, the maximum size of particles inside japanese brand was of 30 micrometers.

Their servicing costs are excessive. Why do they put a battery under a fuel tank? It is like they deliberately build, an impractical machine to service, so they can deliberately "jack" up their servicing costs. And they don't match the Japanese bike manufacturers reliability, and first class precision engineering. With a Ducati it's all style over substance. I agree with Cyclecruza completely.

Crammed for speed and light weight, harder to build, seriously harder to work on, so money bags Ducati owner probably takes it to the shop. A little girl with a kids tool box could replace a stator on many standard Japanese bikes, but a money bags Harley owner might need a huge socket and bigger breaker bar, so it's to the shop; which one is taking the survey? Some of the suck on the charts could be bad mechanic stomping around in crammed, making things worse, some could be money bag's expectations. Saw crammed in violation of decades old Air Force specifications, wrote it up with clear citations, twice, the president with suits showed up months later "quietly" checking it out, because hey, it was more than two suit's fault. Crammed means one bad day on the line and your bike can't make it out of warranty and another guy gets 80,000 miles with only oil changes... If some people like it, fine, I'd rather have less crammed for reliability.
