For the brakes it might just be that there's air in the brake lines because that usually happens when you change something like that out. Air gets in the brake lines and it doesnt work. You gotta drain the brake lines out and keep refilling ur brake reservoir and also check for any cracks or splits in ur brake lines

i feel ya on that i tried talking to guys and no one seemed to want to help but i finally got my own bagged truck and i will share any information that i know we as men don't have to be so arrogant about our stuff its all material shit thast going fade away we should help one another never been a hater never will i compete with myself not with others
Awesome awsome truck, definitely go with a quickfuel carburetor, very easy to tune, thats what I have on my 97 chevy, jets are very easy to change, invest in a air to fuel guage, and you can tune the engine yourself. Honestly its rare when you find a good mechanic, I do all the work on my truck myself to avoid, paying others to half ass, nobody cares about your truck like the owner, thats a fact, keep it going!!!
