You guys are so inspiring. I am a Christian that has been dating a nonchristian for 9 months. I have finally come to the realisation that he isn't the one for me and that God has better plans for my life. So I am going to pray and dedicate my life to the Lord following him and breaking up with this boy. Please pray that I will break up in a gentle and Godly well-spoken way. Also that he may understand and maybe even find the Lord through this.
Hey, thank you for sharing this. Firstly, how did it go? Secondly, if you don't mind me asking, I wondered if you had any advice or anything that helped you realise this? My sister's been dating a non Christian for a few months (praying she doesn't see this comment but it's all out of love!!) and other than praying for her, my parents and I don't really know what to do/how to help her come to this realisation. Obviously we treat them both with love & respect but we know it's not God's plan.

@@peytonnewman3322 Um, no. It was more like she was dealing with personal/emotional issues at the time and she knew she wasn't in an emotional place to be dating anyone. Which is a perfectly valid reason. Sometimes when people are going through a hard time, they need time to process their emotions and it doesn't necissarily mean they are, "weighing other options." It was wise of her to understand her emotional standing and the need to process it appropriately. Being a woman myself, I know it isn't "womanese" for trying to wait to see what I can get. But rather, I know what it is like to take an honest and real assessment of my heart to see if I am even ready for a relationship after dealing with painful or difficult circumstances.
@@rushrush1209 real life isn't the movies. Also, she believed God told her this man was meant to be her husband and she trusted God - which gave her a peace that surpassed human understanding. So, I don't think she was worried about him not sticking around.

I started to be friend with my husband Back in late 2004 and we married in 2006 I get to know him and his family quite well before we married in Thailand in my culture old style way and I’m glad I did that and he the one that I’m been waiting for for 26 years and this month will be 13 years we have been together. That's some wise advice! 🙌🏼🙌🏼😁Definitely hard to know were that line is sometimes of "this is stuff I need to workout before being ready to date" and "I am still growing but healthy enough to date"...bc we are always growing in Christ and part of relationship is helping eachother grow. Definitely important to grow/heal as much as possible before dating though; it makes it so much easier! ...Especially if we know who we are in Jesus and have a great direction/momentum going towards discovering God and ourselves in Him. yes right person wrong time. I experienced that and to some extent still am. We both needed time to heal ourselves and our relationship with God to be healthy for each other and to create a harmonious union

For me it, it is hard to be friends when knowing everything that happened between us and the unfulfilled expectations. So Chad, I wanted to ask, how did you deal with being friend zoned. Was it hard for you to get friends with the girl you loved? Where there any hopes, did you give them up? And did you reflect back and asked yourself if she was still the right girl for you? Yes I'd also love to hear how to deal with that when you're in love but not ready for the relationship part. I wonder if it's better to stay in touch and still text and see eachother or to only talk like once a month.
So, Chad is a fairly new Christian. How long has Tori been a Christian? I would love to hear about each of your stories of how you came to Christ. You may have it in another video, but I'm still catching up. I became a Christian at age 10, 53 years ago. It has been a challenging, but joyous journey as an always single man. I couldn't have made it this far without the church and Christian fellowship.
As soon as they friendzone you, disappear let them contact you and focus on yourself, and if they begin to actively involve you in their life and show signs they’re attracted then pursue them back. If you’ve already lost attraction by then just stay as good friends, and look for someone else. Don’t waste time on the people who friendzone you, don’t become a friend in the first place, be assertive and clear with your intentions from the get go, and if they don’t feel the same move on quick don’t look back. There’s someone for everyone some things don’t work out, just don’t get hung up on it

I have been listening to friendzone stories lately. However, I have been looking for more testimonies or stories where straight woman get friendzoned by men. The last 4 men I have dated or become friends with friendzoned me when I got assertive and communicated about interest in possibly furthering the relationship. I would love to hear from any other straight females who have experienced similar to me and have mostly been friendzoned.
From what I’ve learned (from experience and from hearing about it) men don’t like when the chase ends. They want to chase the woman, and not the other way around.

I know this video is old, but I would super appreciate prayer over being essentially in the same place as Chad after friendzone number one. I don’t know why and that’s hard for sure, but also remembering that those who mourn are blessed, and WILL be comforted. So my prayer has been exactly what the father with a sick kid said to Jesus, “I believe, but help my unbelief” because i desperately want to believe that He IS better, thanks guys
