Why I have 3 different releases 

The evolution is definitely a good training release. I had one when they first came out. I called it the teacher

I haven’t learned to relax my hand like you’re doing. I would send it down range. When I get punchy with my Wise Choice I will get out a Carter Total Control or my very old “ ht” hinges. They both have clicks which I really like because I know it’s about to happen. My hunting backup is an old trigger the Carter Quickie Plus. It causes hits about 2” left at 30 which is acceptable most of the time for hunting shots. I think changing up releases once in a while helps keep in form by making you control the break. It’s easy for me to get a little lazy using the same release all the time. I also rotate my thumb button knob to various positions causing me to think about thumb setting and pressures as I pull. When using the Wise Choice I have it set to just pull straight back without and intentional thumb or hand movements. Just pull until she pops.

I’ve never shot the TRex stay hooked on the loop like when sitting in blind or tree stand. Does the hook close all the way?
