I for one want to hear real pro's and con's experienced by these individuals. Viewers expect their own perspectives and affinities to be reinforced by everyone, it's not going to happen. The struggle is real in Africa and in the Diaspora. The payoff is bigger for Black people in Africa. But make no mistake, Struggle is the key! You can't be on the fence about what needs to be done! And sometimes, you ain't gonna like the way someone says or does things that absolutely have to be done. It's called being mature and honest and progressive.

🆗 Now!!!! He's right about the lack of support... Likewise when you hit the ground on African soil 1) try to make connections before you head out 2) be prepared to work insolation where necessary until good networks can be formed. 3) Mingle with the locals and don't depend to much on the expats groups... I personally found it to be cultish and like a closed click with certain individuals who are idolise... 4) try to have save at 20,000 or more and be prepared to be fungal... Move and live like a local... Earn the people respect. 12 years of going to West Africa has taught me this....

Tobin man, stop being too sensitive I am not Ghanaian or Kenyan but I want all my African brothers and sisters to come to anywhere in Africa they feel comfortable. Your part and the African governments is to educate the Africans in the continent to behave and not to take advantage of our brothers and sisters from the diasporans. I get angry when Africans try to take advantage of our family members from abroad. They are running away from a country where they do not belong, when they come home we have to help them and later we will benefit. REMEMBER IT IS NIT NATURAL RESOURCES THAT MAKES A COUNTRY RICH BUT PEOPLE. QUESTION, what skills and knowledge do we need in Africa now?

Great video. Thanks for sharing. One thing I wanna share is the fact that 75% of African American people living in the States, forefathers were taken from West Africa. This is something well documented and historically accurate. Hence, African Americans leaving the States and matriculating to the West African Coast is essentially coming back to their roots. Obviously they may know very little about their individual and collective African background (Heritage), nevertheless, gravitating to the West coast to resettle is a step in the right direction. Thanks again for sharing African Tigress.

I enjoyed that conversation. Great to see brother Bahari founded a home in Kenya. Karibu Afrika! It is very sad to see a huge number of African Americans completely miseducated about Africa. Many more of them need to be just as BOLD as Bahari to take a trip to Mama Afrika to debunk the lies and fears they have been fed for generations in order to avoid the truth. Brother Bahari clearly did his homework and he was vastly informed about Kenyan immigration requirements. For the African American brothers and sisters planning to visit or settle in Kenya, here is a ton of advice. I am elated to see these brothers and sisters re-connecting to their roots.
