Thanks for clearing the doubt. I have seen people who have joined as an Assistant Professor in Government Colleges after qualifying UGC NET Exam without PhD degree. It is absolutely opposite in case of private colleges. Reputed Private Colleges are recruiting Assistant Professor without qualifying UGC NET exam but PhD is mandatory to work there. Private universities do not follow UGC rules strictly even after being NAAC A+ accredited.

Hi sir im in my 3rd year of psychology hons. I want to do phd and become assistant professor in psychology But i have geard that most universities are corrupted . No matter what ur qualification is if u have money on comtacts you can get a job then. Dod u face this issue while searching for a job as an assistant professor? How to handle the corruption? I feel very demotivated whrn people say that they didn't get selected because if corruption
