I have been collecting vintage film posters for the past 15 years, and have focused on crime, gangster and pre-code films - especially the Warner Bros films starring James Cagney, Edward G. Robinson, Humphrey Bogart, George Raft and Paul Muni.
The collection includes posters for films such as: The Public Enemy, Scarface, Little Caesar, Blonde Crazy, The Petrified Forest, Maltese Falcon, High Sierra & many more!
Poster sizes include one sheets, three sheets, six sheets, inserts, half sheets, window cards, lobby cards & more!

Way back in the mid 1970's I went to an art supply store near L.A. City College with a couple of friends. There were several big bins full of old movie posters, with at least a couple of hundred. I saw no value in owning them and it never occurred to me that I could just use them for wall art. I still kick myself today for my ignorance.

I am a serious collector of Movie Posters, Illustration Art, and Hollywood Memorabilia. I have just begun adding screen worn costumes and also clothing owned and worn by film stars of the golden age. Would love to hear your approach to framing your pieces. It looks like you show off the whole poster which is cool. I have been collecting a lot of old Japanese game and anime promotional posters and have been in the process of getting them framed but have been going with mats on the edges instead of full frame. Probably not the most interesting talking point for most RU-vid viewers but I’m interested 😂. No experience with movie posters!

(kidding) Movie posters aren't meant to be framed and hung on a wall! They're meant to be framed and hung at an original theater that has to be showing the film that is being shown on the poster! 🤣👍 How do you archive and preserve these awesome posters?

That's right! If you don't own a movie theater you can't be a true collector... a mere speculator! 😂 Archiving them is a labor of love, and they certainly take up a lot of room lol! But they look awesome so it's definitely worth it! There is no better collectable in the entire world (in my opinion at least)! Thanks for watching brother!

WOW blown away on your Cagney posters. I have never seen some of them. I have all posters from 1940-1961. Many early Lobby Cards, but you are the Master Collector. The only thing I believe I have one up on ya, is I met Cagney at his home in NY. Beautiful man. Thanks for sharing the Gangster collection, my fav genre at WB.
