I have my snap on, and I like it. My favorite however? Is my Husky 3/8 flex head adjustable length ratchet.. I had the last one for nearly 12 years and the snap ring came out and dropped the guts. I took it back to HD and warrantied it for a brand new one! The head is smaller than my snap on, I feel like it’s buttery smooth.. the adjustable handle though I thought was gimicky at first I now swear by.. it’ll be my go to ratchet until they stop producing them.
Big issue with husky for me is the drives on the sockets. They have those keyways for the retainer ball on the ratchet, which I've found makes them prone to falling right off of your ratchet.
Ive had my husky set for about 5 years now, 8 if counting another back up set in case on the road. And still going well. If that bolt doesnt want to come off, and the hammer is 20 feet away from my reach. Im grabbing the bigger husky and whacking the handle of its smaller cousin to get the bolt loose.
That ep auto interinals are the same as a pittsburgh ratchet. You can get the same ratchet for $15! That's why the backdrag is so low because of the cheap parts inside.
Lmao if I drop the husky from 20 ft up and it breaks oh well. I’ll buy another. But if I buy a snap on and I drop it and it breaks. Shame on me. For buying expensive crap….
Yeah, last week I dropped an icon socket in the frame of a truck, goodbye! First thing I thought was "Damn I'm glad that wasn't a snap-on, cause that might actually make me cry"
@@garycasper2929 lmao let’s be real dude a dealership will sell you a warranty too? Does that mean your gonna get anything out of it? Prolly not their gonna fight you tooth and nail on doing a warranty. Your better off just buying the cheapy
