Today we leave Bali Indonesia and travel back to the capital city of Jakarta. This is now nearly my 5th time back in this city so i figured i'd share Why I love traveling back to this amazing city, and what you could expect.

life style in Jakarta its really cosmopolitan , you feel not as tourist when you are in Jakarta. in Bali you feel as tourist that is big different between Jakarta and Bali

I also love Jakarta and its surroundings (Jabodetabek), never bored. Unfortunately because of covid there is no music festival in Jakarta, usually very crowded and exciting. Anyway greetings from Bekasi

Yeah true, Belitung is wonderfull island. Clear water & beautiful nature. For all foreigner, you must make a schedule for visit to Belitung when you're in indonesia.

My wife’s family is from Pulau Seliu - off Pulau Belitung ……. We took at junk ferry over - only cost up $50 for the entire day and could take 20 family members over. The only down side, the skipper was 13 and his crew were even younger…!!

Yes, the convenience is what makes me stay in Jakarta despite the traffic. It has almost everything. Btw how I've missed shopping malls! I haven't been outside for almost 3 weeks now. And have to stay that way for at least another 2 weeks due to the lockdown.

Before watching this i had no desire to visit Jakarta, now you totally changed my mind . I love big citys and very fond of a fine 🍸 cocktail . My bill for fine spirits is usually 80.00 dollars. The skybar is on my bucket list .

Maybe you should do an update on the new entry and travel restrictions (vaccination and PCR tests). Hope you enjoyed Belitung, had a great time there 10 years ago.

In belitung u must go to lengkuas island,sand island,lebong island and bukit peramun,tanjung tinggi beach and tanjung kelayang beach..so beautyfull 😀😀

The hotel you're staying was Artotel Thamrin, right? I like that thematic Hotel, in the morning you can find many foods around, and in the evening you can walk to Sabang Street, also to find some delicious foods. Claypot Popo is my favorit!

Its just funny for me how foreigners said Grand Indonesia their fav mall. When I'm Indonesian (and mostly my friends) not really like go to GI because the crowd. We prefer to hangout at Pasific Place or Plaza Indonesia, or currently trend Astha Mall.

I don't know when this video was shot..But as Jakartan..I can say that it's being local lockdown..even people from the outskirts or surrounding towns can't enter Jakarta..all borders are being guarded by police & army..very strict..even the entrances which are located in the province of Jakarta are blocked..Malls are closed.. Btw, Jakarta is a province with 5 cities or regions (central, west, east, south, north)..

It is under hard lockdown right now.. non-essential business would need to work from home 100%. The malls, public places are all closed. The most crowded place right now is actually vaccination centers.

Indonesia is doing this whole pandemic correctly, by allowing businesses to remain open, sadly over here in Malaysia, we're doing everything to destroy the economy by locking everything down!
