Adam- Like you say, there are only 32 kickers in the NFL. It's a privilege to play at that level. Get some game experience on your resume and see if you can work in the CFL or XFL. It's not as much $$$ but is a legitimate stepping stone to get to the NFL. Rootin' for you!!!

You should be working with a snapper and holder …you should also be training with Zauner , Sailor or Kohls …you need to be able to hit 50 yds in all conditions under extreme mental pressure….thats the difference

I got MAD respect for you, Homie. I have a pretty interesting story myself, which gives me a unique perspective into yours. The bottom line is that success in a person's life often ends up happening once LEGITIMATE, SACRIFICIAL preparation meets an unexpected and unpredictable opportunity. Like you said, next year there will be 32 people kicking the ball- even if all the best ones in the world fall over dead; they're gonna take the next best, available 32. Realistically, none of us can ever really say with any certainty that we're the best at anything, and if we happen to be it's probably only for a moment; HOWEVER, you may have the opportunity to be the right guy at the rightTIME. THAT is why you practice!

I'm a basketball player, but people don't understand that the women's team is a way to get good solid reps. Also totally understand the surgeries. I basically blew up my meniscus and tore my ACL, then decided i enjoyed the ACL surgery so much the first time wanted to do it again a year and a half later.
