Whats the reference? I'm not american, but i usually get all of Geoff's jokes, however i am at a loss with that one. Is it just the switch of the mathematical terms or is there more to it? Pls help.

@@Schmuni it's a reference to something called the three fifths compromise. In early United States history there was a question of wether to include slaves as part of the population. So they counted slaves as three fifths of a person or 3 in every 5 toward the population total. Hope this helps.

The joke is likely referencing the Three-Fifths Compromise, a historical agreement during the drafting of the United States Constitution in 1787. It counted enslaved individuals as three-fifths of a person for the purpose of taxation and representation. So, "3/5th of a bank" could be a humorous way of referencing this controversial compromise.
