I did hear about the Dagda from you for the first time. I love hearing more about him, as well as Ireland's myths, legends, God's, and ungods. Thank you for all your hard work. I look forward to reading your book on the Dagda which just arrived.🙂

Thank you for your devotion to the god Dagda. I’m not Irish or Celtic but I’ve been reading about the Goddess/Saint Brigid and I learned about the Dagda. As soon as I read about him, I felt this warm, strong, protective masculine energy around me and within. I have a lot to heal when it comes to my relationships with cis men. I’m genderqueer and don’t identify as a man and I’ve been drawn mostly to female goddesses like Brigid. This is the first time I’ve been drawn to a god.

I really enjoy your story telling, the manner that have. So, the more videos for IPS that you do, the better.... I say. Today, after having a massive migraine and meds.. I was able to just lay here with my eyes closed and listen to both you and Lora....it gives a sense of still "doing the work", studying and expanding even when I can't physically do much, etc.

Thank you so much, Jon. I don't have a pagan community in my area, and IPS and my Gods have taught me everything I know. Recently, my Gods taught me to say a small prayer when I make offering. I was just setting it on Their altars without properly addressing them. I really want to hear about Dagda's club please!

One of the first classes I took at the ISP was Dagda - Hearth Hero & Domestic Deity. Within that class, you talked about, basically, the life and times of the Dagda. Prior to this class, all I ‘knew’ or had heard about the Dagda was that he was the God of life, death, seasons, agriculture, and on and on. It was a long list, lol. Anyway, it wasn’t until I was listening to your class and all of the things the Dagda had done that I realized for the 1st time (better late than never lol) that it wasn’t just this arbitrary list of things that the Dagda had tagged on to the back end of his name. It’s life and death, because one end of the club took life and the other end returned it. It’s the seasons because of his power and authority over the sun, that by the earth’s movement around it creates those seasons. It’s agriculture because of his power and authority over the land. And on and on. It’s the stories that were told and retold and written down that give us the nature of these deities, what they’re Gods and Goddesses of, and I never put that together before I took your class. I just wanted to thank you for that insight, because now I can read others of these stories and put it together in my head what other deities are known for and why, making any future relationship I may have with them all the deeper and more enriched.

Ty ty ty Jon! Im about to go on over to sign up for the course, and am really excited mostly because offerings for me have evolved a bit from studies as devotional offerings to leaving out creme and buttered bread and other tasty treats + drinks for The TDD and Good Neighbors here in the states. That said, im hoping you could give some suggestions of offerings to folks planning a trip to Ireland for the first time. 😬 Was just pleasantly surprised with a planned trip in May if all things COVID work out and want to begin by offerings of thanks and gratitude but honestly meeting Themselves on their own turf for the first time has me a bit thrown, nervous, and excited.

Thank you Jon. I was inspired by previous videos to set up my altar again and have been making more regular offerings. This led to better interactions with /understanding of who I'm working with and more effort to keep it simple and focused.

Hm this raises the question about when the Tuatha Dé Dannan themselves were refugees before coming back to Ireland where did they go ? Also the Mórrígan stayed (again that family separation if Herself and the Dagda at that point were a couple ,friends or more)
