Looking forward to your journey! It takes 9 months to get used to a new life/move, please give yourself grace 🙏🏻I lived in China for graduate school and was miserable my 1st 9 months. But afterwards, was a yummy food dream everyday 😥 left because it isn’t as disability friendly as the US. 😥

Sup man. I admire your ambition to move to Vietnam. I am 42 years old now. I wish I had known about moving to Vietnam to become an English Teacher when I was 23 years old, fresh out of college. I am trying to start a RU-vid channel also, and I would love to collaborate with you. I live in Houston, Texas.

I met in Saigon a young Viet Kieu from the Czech Republic… he also one day told his parents he is going back to Vietnam for good and his patents were against it and apparently his dad stopped talking to him and only the mother speaks to him. Yes it’s true that they left everything behind to start in a new country but the kids sometimes are not happy in a western country. I also think that the Czech Republic is much less diverse than the USA or Canada. I also think it has to do with dating and wanting to find a partner.
@kitty_s23456
@kitty_s23456 3 месяца назад
That's true abt diversity. If he lives in Prague or a big city, it may be more diverse but if it's a small town, it will be mostly white ppl. I've been to some East European countries and they are not as diverse as big US or Canadian cities. As an Asian person, I sometimes stood out (and was asked if I'm Chinese - which I'm not).

Recommending reading books by Radhanath Swami, journey home and Giriraja Swami’s books called life final examination, ,Amy moons, I built you a temple, watering the seeds, etc. recommending watching many episode of Maha Bharata English subtitles and Ramayana many episodes. A lot of life wisdom to learn from great personalities of the past.

Hey, whats up bro. I watch this video and i'm actually from Toronto, so canadian like you from B.C I can relate 10000% to what you are thinking. It is nervous and I run a channel that is focused generally around Vietnam and other countries. I too, Vietkieu want to see what Vietnam is thru my eyes as well. And what I can tell you to perhaps say to your family and friends who wonder why you are going back to live in VN. From my personally honest opinion: I have the same interest of up n moving to Vietnam BECAUSE if, our parents didn't move to Canada and that you were born. You would be in Vietnam right now. Your original life, would be in Vietnam. So, thats what interests me, probably you too. Why you wanna go back just to see how your life 'would have' been if you were born in Vietnam, but from a Viet Kieu's perspective. - Phi
