I moved to Alaska in 2011 and love every thing about Alaska. There are so much hunting, fishing, and adventure opportunities in Alaska, it would take a lifetime to do everything. I have a remote off grid cabin in the wilderness. This is part of vlog.

Nice video Bill. I like looking at the snow, but not driving in it. Had snow Monday and expecting more Saturday. This Long Island, New Yorker will stay in. I do admire you for making the move while you were young enough to physically build and have the adventures you want. Hope the snow blower works.

I've been up here for a little over a decade now. The snow and cold isn't as bad as people think. You really do get used to it because your body can adjust to it. It gets cold and stays cold, there isn't the temp fluctuations like in PA.

Western PA is beautiful, just like it is where I grew up in Northern, Central, and Western NY. They are nice places to visit. Alaska is home. -Dusty

My husband and I spend two months in Pennsylvania while he was working. We loved it there. Not only is it a beautiful state, but there is so much history there. It is also where his family (Overmyer) landed back around the late 1700’s and began their journey that ended up in south Louisiana.

I've wanted to visit Vietnam for a long time but haven't yet. No encounters with bears. I've seen a few in the wild though. Moose are more dangerous than bears. Moose actually hurt more people than bears do.
