Because of how some viewers behave and some youtubers make explanation or apology videos, I also felt like I should apologize for every inactivity period on my channel....but that's not right. We should not feel pressured to apologize for not entertaining people because we are dealing with our own life. Not everything can go perfectly as planned and many things can happen all of a sudden. Being entitled is something that we should all try to avoid, especially when it comes to controling or surveiling lives of others.

Honestly as insensitive as this comment is, you're not entirely wrong about that. I don't quite know what they were thinking when making the decision to go to China. Maybe they're not telling the full story, not sure. China has lots of diverse cultures, foods, and geography; but a persons worth is dictated on how far they stray from Han. If your ethnicity strays from that, you are seen as being of less worth. The government is comprised of Han, and due to China being a rising power, other ethnic groups (non-han) are infiltrated and targeted by other nations in covert campaigns meant to cause regional instability. This has made the xenophobia situation much worse, since it perfectly aligns with the very recent loud and nationalistic segment of the populace. Not a good idea to go over there for a teaching job at this time. Especially this half of the decade. You wouldn't go to Germany in 1936, would you?

I understand why people feel misled. It seems like Nolu was aware that her viewers believed she was in Korea yet intentionally avoided saying otherwise. Neither confirming nor denying assumptions is still a choice that has consequences. But I think people who are upset need a reality check. She does not owe anyone anything about where she is or when she got there. It's honestly ridiculous that people think she needs to explain that. Nolu and her videos amount to a lot more than her physical location. I hope she keeps making them!
They forget that just because an individual chooses to share a percentage of their life, doesn't mean we're (the audience) entitled to the rest of you. Continue sharing what you want to share and not what you're being instructed to share. They don't even know you from a bar of soap yet they act like they live in your backyard.

I'm from a (western) generation before your's, and the vast majority of us as ordinary people never even thought to dictate to someone else their life, their movements, experiences, thought processes, etc. It really is the age of social media mass entitlement, where absolute strangers demand that you owe them your all. It's your life, your choices, live it and don't pay heed to the naysayers, frankenfreaks and trolls. These people are mentally unstable imo. Nobody should be surfing round the net all day demanding someone gives them an invoice for anything they do. There are some tragic people out there. The social media addiction sadly only makes this cult grow worse. I stopped using it ages ago. There's more happiness to be found in a bowl of chips, or a good book, than most of the online world atm.

You should consider removing the Korean part from your channel name. 1. Your content isn't in Korean, so it wouldn't be watched by the average Korean viewer. 2. Not all your viewers understand Korean, so it might look like gibberish to them. 3. Can't be searched. People looking for or trying to remember your channel name, won't be able to do so. 4. You're excluding an international audience Just a professional opinion. Another RU-vidr gave me the same advice and my channel took off. My channel name used to be Etacude, no one knew what it was about and who it was intended for. So consider it. Thank you for your content.
