A big decision was made concerning the carb situation. The old Autolite 4300 is gone and is replaced with a new Holley 650 Double Pumper. Why? A few reasons but reliability was #1. Also made some decisions of the 1965 GT based on what I saw at Barrett.

Thank you Richard I appreciate the nod and that you value my opinions, just be careful some fords don’t like AC delco plugs. Make sure you use a 12v switched lead for the choke, you might have to run a wire from the switch worst case. On the 65 look at a Mustang II front clip drop in kit that has everything you need to modernized it. Also, I know you don’t like the idea but put a harness in the 65, you will thank me in the end, plus you will have so many options for upgrades interior and exterior, my 65 project will be getting a harness plus power seats and windows, lol.
