Driving Sonet HTE 1.2 petrol….no issues at all….driven 7K Kms….it’s a butter smooth and refined engine and mileage is 14+ in city and 18+ on highway….overall satisfied 👍🏼 fit finish is top notch in KIA cars 🙌

I'm from Goa.Even i bought Kia Sonet 1.2 HTK+ in 2021 Feb.I have completed 28000 kms till today(July23).I'll share my experience. 1)Your 1st point itself is correct ...as before buying sonet I had I20 which had same engine but that car was a hatchback and this is a compact SUV.Thats where I made a mistake as it is underpowered.. like when overtaking the accelerator pedal should be pressed hard..it's like the car is taking too much of stress on engine to pull. 2)Mileage is a concern again again need to fuel up as I have experienced of 28k kms 3)Stiff suspension. (As i20 had much better)comparing because I had one earlier. 4)Poor throw of lights. 5) Strong advice for those who want to buy Sonet.Kindly check above HTK+ models as they don't have 1.2 engine.I don't know ..even now Why KIA is producing this engine.It should be removed from the lineup.Should start from 1.5. 6)My concerns are only these which are mentioned above.While the Design is Top Notch and even in 2023 no car is up to its level .The Quality and the Durability,Overall no problems till date except the 1.2 engine . Note:- After reading this even then those who want to buy should drive it personally as it is depending upon each one tastes.But whatever you said is completely True which I'm feeling!

I have Sonet 1.2 htk plus. The main drawback- no led projector ,halogen is given. 2) if you speed is slow and you are at 3 gear pickup is bad, to overcome please shift to 2 gear. Drive in city with 2 and 3 gear to you won’t feel underpowered. Now cons-1) very great macho looks I have black and even blue looks dope. 2) It can easily reach 110-120 with 3-4 persons but it starts showing mileage of 15 on mid. My Sonet shows 20kmpl when driving on 80-90 with 5th gear on highway. 3) build quality is far better compared to above brand ie Suzuki 😂 4) great boot space to keep luggage. And enough leg space thigh space for persons about 5.8 to 5.11 average Indian height. Ohh sorry I forgot to add one more con 3) reverse gear is bit faulty it sometimes not engage properly. Overall it’s decent purchase at this price point and if you want to do drag race stuff buy turbo variant. Mera budget itna hi tha to yahi li😂

I have purchased Sonet KTX IMT in December 2022....i have driven 8500km till date.overall i am happy with each and every aspect except mileage, i am getting 9-10 kmpl in city and 14-15kmpl on highways.....the most advantageous thing of this car is its IMT as its the most easy and fun thing to drive ....it gives dual fun of manual and automatic both .....i am fed up of refilling petrol tank......anyone please suggest how to improve fuel efficiency

Without AC on highway I checked tank to tank 23.6 km/l. I checked twice from Leh to Jammu and back. Bro mileage totally depends on your driving skills

Bhai faaltu ke bahane bnane ki koi zarurat nhi hai... Saaf saaf bol ki milage kam deri thi gaadi aur tere baski nhi thi gaadi me petrol dalwana.... Aur agar tera ye reason hota ki built quality kharab thi toh tune tiago ya nexon kyu nhi li tune swift ki jagah...

I have driven Kia car in Germany and I and my colleague were amazed why and how Kia drink so much petrol, why the mileage is so poor. It has many feature but always felt that we are driving some toy. Our comparison was with VW which was not only robust to drive, the mileage was also excellent though it looked quite executive. Here in India, we love flashy cars more because show off is much more here than in other countries.

I'm also a sonet owner. I have faced all these issues. He is absolutely right.

I totally agree with you.. mera hyundai Aura hain... 1st suspension tuning bhut ghatiya hain... 2nd 1.2 L BS6 engine underpowered lagta hain... 3rd in city mileage I'm getting 10-12 Km/L and on highways 17-20 Km/L depending on my riding style because sedans are known for its great aerodynamics on highways.. and at the last Hyundai nios and aura have the ABS sound problem..iska reduction unit ka manufacturing defect tha... Under warranty reduction unit change kra diya lekin 20% sound abhi v baki hain

Kia sonet is heavier than other brands of similar cars by about 100-200kg. Naturally aspirated petrol varients me ho sakta he underpower feel jab 4 log baithe hein. Akela chalaoge to aisa hona nahi chahiye. AC daalke akela chalaaoge to bhi mileage kam nahin hona chahiye. For Power and smooth driving, 1.0 L Turbo DCT / Torque converter better ho sakti he. Aap aajkal konsi gaadi chalare ? Har aadmi sochega woh khud duniya ke sab se no.1 driver hei.Jab tak hamara riding habit sudaaroge nahi, tab tak kuch problems rahega bhi hein. Aap koi achcha driver friend ke saath bitaake aap ki driving kaise he poochcho. Ho sakta he kuch improvement aapko bhi possible ho. Umeed karta hun yeh 2024 wali sonet facelift me 1) suspension issue adress kiya hoga 2) Air intake system tune kiya hoga for improving mileage under normal riding.3) Seats contouring/ skewing karke rear leg room aur thigh support improve kiya hoga.. is se jyaada improvement aur kya chahiye? Har gaadi me koi na koi improvement ka zaroorat he aur possible bhi he .Aap ke taraf de kya kya chaahiye, woh batana chahiye.

Sonet HTE petrol maine liya hai city me 9 to 10 km aur highway par 15 km k ass pass rhti hai. Aur mid me 25 se 32 tak show krtta hai. Ap ki sari bate bilkul sahi hai.

Bhai if brake pads are worn out, abs will sound more. I had the same problem in my toyota camry when i come down the hill. After brake pad replacement it was ok

I bought Kia sonet htk+1.2 petrol 1. Yes sonet has a suspension issue. 2. Yes it's under power. It's smooth for a normal drive. But it's under power on hills. 3. Mileage is not good 11-12 in city 15-17 on Highway. Once it showed me 20-21 but checked it's somewhere between 17-18 4. Have issues with Android play also. Connections break automatically. I went to Kia service and it will resolve after upgrading the software. So I asked them to update it, so the hilarious reply I got was sir we cannot update it manually but the company hasn't provided the software update for this model. 5. Poor throw of head light 6. But if we go with seltos then there are no issues like this. I don't know why they have kept sonet under power.

Tata nexon maintenance mehnga hai per build quality acha hai per driving position barobar nahi hai jitna sub 4 mtr gadi hai sab bekar hai 5.6 ft ke admi ke liye thik hai 6 ftr ke liye sahi nahi hai

Bumper is made of plastic and milage depends on ur driving. Also if you are aware you are buying suv type car with 1200 cc engine so expect bit low power that is obvious. So, overall fake review and who will take positives? At last bro you only deserve maruti car so best of luck😂
