Great to see and hear from you Tony, but really sorry to hear about the health issues you have been facing. It sounds like it's been quite the journey, but pleased to hear you are out the other side! Take care and we'll always be here whenever you get the chance to do a video. By the way fantastic tour through the forest. Looks very idyllic. Cheers Dino 🍻
Tony, I've very much enjoyed your videos and have learned so much from you over the years. Please take care of yourself and when you have time, keep us updated on how you are doing both health and brewing wise. All the best wishes to you!
Was just thinking about your vlogs the other day and so sorry to hear what has happened but hopefully it will all come good. You only get one shot at life so make the most of it and thanks for all your input to home-brewing as I for one have benefited a lot.Take care Tony.
Tony, im sorry to hear you had health issues, and im glad your on the mend. i know this was 2 years ago. i too had a few smaller health issues and stopped brewing. i still love beer though i just let others make it and then buy it from the shop. i now use my time to be with my family instead of in the brewshed. Cheers Mate all the best. Jay
Sorry to hear what you've been going through Tony, I've had similar issues with prostate cancer for almost 10 years. I'm still here luckily, going through different treatments but I won't give up. So chin up buddy, hope to see you back on RU-vid when you're ready. cheers
Good to se you back on the mend Tony. Your videos have been missed but health is paramount. A lot of us are getting older together and health issues will be a lot more common for many of us. Cheers mate and take care. 👍🍺
Thanks for sharing your story and glad you’re doing well. We never know what is going on in each other’s lives. Keeping you & family in our hearts and prayers.
Our loss Tony all the best from Bluff New Zealand , you have been a wealth of knowledge over the years. Enjoyed the walk but not the news at the end , take care..John
Tony your brewtubing enabled me to make the journey into all grain brewing and has been such a joy to watch. I hope we do see you fighting fit and putting down another batch soon! Too good health and whatever else may come 🍻
Tony! Watching you got me into this awesome hobby! You were so helpful when I was starting my own brewery! I’m gonna miss your brew days! But best of luck to you man! You’re an inspiration!
That was hard to hear Tony, glad things have turned a corner for you and your on the mend. I fully understand your shift of priorities, it’s hard enough to focus on every day stuff when faced with major events and brewing and brewtubing doesn’t even register. Best of health to you dude and get strong it would be nice to see you brewtubing again but if you don’t we know why.
Glad to see things are on the mend and you are doing ok homebrewing can take a side step till you are ready. We are all here to support you through thick and thin, take care to you and the family and hope to see you soon.
Great video Tony, sorry to hear about the health issues, but glad you are recovering and hope all is well now. Keep looking after yourself and family and best wishes , nice dog by the way :D
I'm sorry to hear about you situation. Keep a positive state of mind. It helped my father. He was given 3 months to live with lung cancer, and I cared for him for 21 years. We had a lot of laughs and fun times during that stretch. Take care!
Thanks for the update as I know I was one of the guys asking. Sorry to hear you had health issues Tony. Cheers to your recovery 🍻 Enjoy life brother, with or without homebrewing and brewtubing. The knowledge you've shared up until now will help any brewer that finds your channel. Thanks 👍
Good video, sad to hear everything about your health Tony! Everything will be better from now on for sure, so happy to see you out in the woods again like this. Thanks for sharing, sorry for the late comment on your video :-( All the best to you and your family! Cheers
damn, man, sorry you've had to go through all of this, the stress and worry associated with a major health event in some cases is worse than the ailment itself.....my thoughts are with you my man. Totally psyched to see that you're on the mend and are able to get out with ol' scott in a ridiculously beautiful setting....i completely understand the feeling of obligation a content creator such as yourself has to explain things to those of us on this side of the pipe who watch your videos, but your health is paramount, my subs not going anywhere and i doubt anyone else's is either, take care of yourself.....hope the remodel finishes up smoothly, stay well ma'doooood....If you're in New England hit me up, we'll have a kombucha or three......cheers my man......
Tony, I've never commented on a RU-vid video before. Im glad you're back on your feet. I feel like I've learned a lot from your videos and I know ive borrowed a lot of your homebrewing ideas. You're an awesome youtuber, and I'm sure you're an accomplished brewer. All the best moving forward. Cheers!
So sorry to hear about your health issues and hope you are well on the road to recovery. Best wishes what every you decide to do. Here's to a healthy and happy life. Cheers 🍺
Tony, I was vey sorry to hear about your health scare. Though we haven't communicated directly before, I've been an avid follower of your videos, and you inspired me to build my own electric brewery (switching from propane). The news of your challenges was like a punch in the gut. I'm very glad your CT came back so positively and wish you a full and complete recovery!
Hi Tony, missed your informative videos badly. I had skin cancer around 15 years ago so I know the shock you felt. Always put yourself and family first and do whatever makes you happy my friend.
Take care of yourself Tony. I'm sorry to hear you had a rough run lately. You've been a great friend from afar. Would love the opportunity to meet you someday. Always loved your videos and followed you since the beginning. My wife just had a major knee surgery and I know it's gotta be tough to be down for a while. But it's great to see you doing what you love and being active. Stay healthy my friend and stay in touch! Cheers!
So happy to hear that you're on the mend...hopefully your health issues are behind you. You'll be greatly missed around here, but health and family come first. Cheers!
Cheers Tony! Your knowledge of homebrewing and all-round-good-guy personality set me up on my own beer odyssey. All the best! If you ever get down to NZ I’m sure the boys would be keen for a beer.
Dude, I’m so sorry to hear what you’ve been going through and you have no need to explain yourself or your absence; you handled your shit and that’s what matters. I hope to see ya back in here from time to time but I too have strayed from consistent posting and have had my own perspective shift as well so I understand. Best of luck to you and hopefully we meet up again someday in the future.
Hi Tony. We have met you in person and have been blessed with the experience of learning about your family and kinship. We have you all in our prayers and we look forward to seeing you again!! Stay strong our friend and take care. Sincerely, Brian and Kelly. Beautiful video btw!!
Hey Tony, heavy stuff mate. Glad to hear that things look like they've taken a turn for the better. Lovely spot too. Totally understand a shift in priorities etc. Best wishes to you and your family.
Hi Tony you are one of the reasons I started home brewing! I learned a lot from your videos, for that I Thank you. God speed on your recovery, I’ll keep you in my prayers.
Always enjoyed your video's, obviously it would be fun to see one once in a while, but the "c" word always gives your life a new perspective. Life and family first, we'll survive if you don't feel the u tuber thing. Well wishes to you Tony :-)!! Thanks for taking the time to let us know how your doing!!
Tony, we’ve never had a chance to meet, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever posted here before. But I’ve followed you from your early days. Thanks for sharing your story. Cancer has a way of changing life’s viewpoint and brings an appreciation of life and priorities from a very different perspective. But you already know that. Stay strong, stay well. I would like to say one thing. You have impacted us brewers more than you will ever know. I am just one of many who have learned so much as you shared your journey. God bless.
So sorry to hear about the health issues. Take care of yourself. It has been awesome to get to know you through video and messages. Maybe we will see you again in the future.
I hope and pray for full recovery my friend, God Bless and enjoying home brewing... I’m disabled a bed bound and do home brewing for something to do, I use to be a beer drinker and a little whiskey.. Great to hear things are looking good on the health front, all sounded very worrying though. Hope you find the enthusiasm to put the odd video up on RU-vid. All the very best to you and your family. Cheers
I thought you was just bored of doing vids but given what you said, I understand now and am glad your health is back on track. Thanks for sharing and all the best for the future.
You are a true inspiration to me and many many others. Not sure if you know this but meeting up with you last year at NHC was the true highlight for that entire trip for me. I knew something was up, I didn't know it was to this extent, and your health is and will always be #1 concern. I am sure we will see more of you in the future when you are ready. Until then my friend we will always be there for you, no matter what. Much Love My Brother!

OMG Tony my friend. That’s quite an ordeal you’ve been through! I am pleased fir you and your loved ones that you are contour the other side. You have been a big miss as you have inspired a lot of people world wide on so many different levels, not just brewing related. I would hate to think the community will not hear from you. I am sure if you feel able at some point to share what you are up to, you would have a huge audience. Take care and look forward to hearing from you.
I’m sure I won’t be alone in saying I’ve missed your videos! But I’m glad that you’re making a strong recovery, and I think it’s important you make your health a priority. All the best, Tom
Tony I know you have been through so much! You are strong and have an amazing family i am glad you are better. I still would love to come out when your settled in no rush, and I kept my secret lol! I did not see this in my feed until i went to your channel directly. sorry its been so late in my reply. We all take breaks from the youtubes, miss you buddy!
Glad to hear you're ok as of now. The community misses you but your health comes first. All the best for the future and hope to see some videos in the future.
Blimey who wants to be making brewing videos when you are going through all that! Don’t blame you for that mate. Glad you are on the mend and let’s hope it’s onwards and upwards from here. Looks like a beautiful place you have there to go and be with your thoughts mate. Best of luck for the future whatever you end up doing.
Health is number one. Let's hope you can get back to a place where a little beer isn't going to hurt! I am glad I had the chance to meet you in-between your health struggles but even more glad that you are doing better now. That's a pretty (naughty) pooch you have there btw! Cheers!
Tony, I miss your down to earth approach you have to brewing. Wish you were still putting out a few brewing vids but hey that's cool! I have been a bit lazy putting out vids without any reason and have the itch to get back on that brew horse! lol. You name the next beer I should brew and I will attempt it! I will post a full brewing video on it. Just miss you being in the RU-vid brewing community! Cheers Tony. Hope you are doing well. - Shawn
Considering where you have been, your humor is not lost. You still find reason to laugh, love, and even communicate with the like minded. I hope this comment finds you well, as this video was only the second of yours that I stumbled upon, and it was from last summer. Keep laughing, loving, and communicating. There are people who appreciate what you share. Having only just discovered you, I'll be pouring over all that you have shared with us, VALIDATING all that you have assembled for us. And if you have time or the inclination, you would without question be received with smiles should you return to the tubes. Some of us will be looking forward to it. God Bless.
Hey Tony, I hope this finds you well. I just rewatched this ( and some of your other videos). Really miss your content, you were one of my favorite RU-vidrs, not just brewtubing. You have been an inspiration in my home brewing adventures and I hope that you can, someday, return. Thank you and take care.
Thanks! Yeah it’s been a minute since my last brew day. Never though I’d lose the brewing-bug, but yeah... Still into microbiology, just more oriented towards the gut microbiota. Cheers!
Hey, thanks. Yeah. Not a lot of brewing, well none actually if I'm honest, in a couple years now... Still focused on heath and well-being, etc. Cheers!
