Why I stopped listening to Kpop (& secular music tbh)

it’s been a little more over 2 weeks without listening to kpop and funny thing i started reading my bible more 1 month or more ago and just had the urge to stop listening to kpop. God is good and I thank him for opening my eyes

Not everything that looks, sounds and makes you feel good is actually good for you. I got into BTS in the later part of 2016, I really enjoyed their music, especially the album that came out in 2018. After 2018 I started to not necessarily like every one of their songs, or try to force myself to like every song they would release. In the beginning, late 2016 -2018, I would actively watch all their lives and like all their posts on twitter, but slowly I started to not keep up to date with their social media and lives. I just thought well perhaps I'm growing up, I don't find it exciting or necessary to keep up to date with them. In the back of my head, I always thought I cant let myself become so consumed by them, they really are alluring and just draw you into an obsession. I could never call them idols, or myself one of their army. It just felt weird saying those things, cause for 1 I knew that idols were not something that you should have, God hates that, so the fact that they call themselves idols should have been something to set off red flags. But I just thought well, its okay as long as I don't call them an idol its all good...it wasn't. There is a song that came out in 2017 called pied piper and honsely I'd look at the lyrics but I didn't really think too heavily on it because the group told the fans that the song was about something else, but the lyrics to that song are very concerning. I did not fully see it enough to delete their songs until recently after I had a spiritual fast. I used to think well its Korean music its not like the west, full of satanic symbols and whatnot, but I was fooling myself. Just because they look all innocent and have this pristine image made it easier to believe this lie. They wrap themselves up into these nice packaes that you would never believe that once you open that package you would find anything harmful inside. It's rather disturbing to think about but I really loved this video and I'm glad you put it out so hopefully more people can come to realise that they are being led astray. Lets stop putting things between us and God because as Matthew 7:13-14 states "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it".

There's also a very subtle mockery against God, Christians and the Bible in Korean drama/movies. No, some series don't openly mock it, but the way it's shown is purposely executed to induce annoyance and mockery from the watcher. From the untrained eye, the exposure is a good thing. But for someone with proper discernment of these things, it's literally blasphemy. Don't get tricked, their entertainment uses reverse psychology to mock Christians. South Korean entertainment is the next Hollywood; BE AWARE!

For me it has been K-Dramas. It was evoking extreme emotions, depression, anxiety, and anger in me. So I started to hear God tell me to stop watching them. Thank you for this message. It has helped me confirm to stop watching K-Dramas.

To be honest i have been looking for a wake up call from kpop because I have been trying to convince myself that it's not that bad but, thanks for open my eyes.

TESTIMONY time : I got into kpop at 13 I was really young Im 23 and kpop was addictive when I was younger I was having lustful thoughts I even was having gay dreams after kpop I even had depression and anxiety and I got more insecure because I thought these people were perfect and I wanted to look like them and be more pretty and beautiful and whiter I was hating myself more. Even kpop singers are depressed there was 3 singers that committed suicide jonghyun,Sulli and Hara but Glory to God when I gave my life to Jesus he washed me from my sins and changed my mindset his name defeats those demons I am no longer a slave to depression,anxiety,lust and God said that charms are deceitful but a woman who fears the lord is be praised and When I got closer to God I stopped caring about the way I looked and what I dressed I felt more comfortable in my skin it felt like freedom and I didn’t care about luxury things but in a dream God revealed to me that kpop is idolatry it was this colorful kpop video of kpop singers dancing and around it said “Idol” all over the music video but at the end of the day Jesus set me free from drugs,kpop,lust,suicide,witchcraft,etc the list goes on but true freedom is in Jesus ❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽

I can attest to everything you say. My girlfriend is obsessed with Kpop and I decided to listed to it so I could better relate to her. My goodness it's so violent! She spends so much on kpop merchandise, it's ridiculous. I'm always scared she's more in love with these Korean men than me 😢. I'll show her this video to get her to see the light. Thank you for this video, you gave me the final confirmation I needed. I got into Kpop recently thinking I'd found an alternative to satanic western media. Ignorantly I thought "oh they're Korean they don't do religion" and tried to blame any similarities on idols just cluelessly emulating US artists. It honeslty scared me how quick I got sucked into this genre (I'm 25 and way past my fangirl days). I made went to a concert, bought an album, made them my screen saver and spent hours of my day watching the tiktoks and videos. It was very out of character for me, almost like I was hypnotized! I'm at a point where I can't ignore the symbolism and darkness any longer. The trust will come out soon.

Woah I just realized that I also would start to try and get more into the food, culture, language of kpop because of this (not that trying to learn about different cultures is bad) but it was for all the wrong reasons. After I gave up kpop I no longer felt this attraction to visit Korea or learn the language and I never understood why this pull I felt to it had gone away. I now realize that it was satan trying to lure me in, but by the Grace of God I have been saved. It really breaks my heart seeing that young people don't want to listen they deny the evidence again and again. I pray that this may reach more people, and I'm gonna go pray to God because I feel like today I haven't been praying at all or reading the word. these past few months i’ve been feeling more and more sad i got obsessed with kpop around last year i loved it. it was amazing trust me i learned each of the members names and lots of groups/songs, when i started listening to kpop i instantly loved it like you said it was attractive, so i started watching the music videos and they always included fallen angel scenes and stuff like that but i chose to ignore it thinking i was “paranoid” or that they didn’t do it with that intention. but i slowly started to notice things more and more and it’s not just BTS or Twice but almost every famous kpop group for example today i watched the Blood sweat and tear music video from BTS and first thing the start of the video the painting. secondly the whole song is just them telling satan they give their life’s to him. I’ve watched this video over a million times and never really saw anything weird always thought it was art but it’s so clear and towards the end the fallen angel statue you can see Jin kiss it. then V with ripped wings? they also say they “want it more and more” i’m guessing fame? but the whole video is clear. watch it with substitles. not only them but i was in spotify and loved this song that was playing so i went to check which one it was.. It was “Maniac by Viviz” they somehow made the word “maniac” look like Jesus? i was like why does the cover have Jesus’s name and then realized it said Maniac. Txt- chasing that feeling: AGAIN fallen angels at the start the literally fall from the sky the lyrics are so obvious as well. Jung kooks not that new but new song “Standing next to you” again the fallen angel wings.. I checked today’s Top 100 south korean songs and saw Aespa’s song Armageddon? i knew the word sounded familiar then realized it’s in the bible. The place where the battle happens in revelations. Not just that but various other groups. it breaks my heart to see how easy you can get deceived, i really loved them but i guess it wasn’t love, i see so many people say after that they started wanting to learn the language,culture,dances, started watching k dramas etc. it’s true so have I but now i know why i haven’t been able to get close to God how i used to they have been a distraction that i’ve been turning a blind eye to. it’s an addiction that’s going to be hard to break but everything in God is possible!

I've been a Christian for about 4-5 years now. 2021 I was introduced to BTS. Slowly I became a hard core fan, and still worshipping God. He would show me why I shouldn't like them/ listen to them etc. But I haven't been listening. I've been watching testimonies of people being delivered from K-pop by God, and came across you video. You just confirmed everything God has been trying to tell me. Thank you. (got to go change my RU-vid stuff.)

I just wanted to comment even though I do not want to but I believe that by me sharing this it will impact and help someone. I was in kpop since 4th grade. So my innocent mind was already into these things. Then I got out of it and then when middle school came (eighth grade), I got reintroduced to it and the first band was blackpink. Here me and two friends back then were so in love with it and was dangerously obsessed trying to find new Kpop bands, new members to be out biases, and even reading fan fictions that took up space in our hearts and mind. Until one day I was trying to go to church in eighth grade but didn’t take it seriously. It was all just a concert for me. I would hear and see kids cursing right after church or the next day at school. Nothing changed. Then I remember I downloaded my first ever bible which was you version app which the church I went to introduced me to that. I remember walking to middle school and trying to read it but just skimmed most of the scriptures or just read the morning verses and would immediately log onto watching kpop which was blackpink, bts, nct, etc. then I remember one morning I was listening to the audio Bible making up my bed to get ready to leave for school, and 1 John 5 was playing and it ended at verse 21 that states “Little children, keep yourselves from idols”. Everything I read from that was all a blur but that one stood out to me so much. Ever since I still was into kpop but then the Lord changed my desires and I completely hate the Kpop industry. It would be nice one day to go and preach the gospel Over there especially to those ‘idols’. To anyone struggling pray and war in the spirit even if God set you free from this the desire to go back will come in. But pray, fast, and be obsessed with Jesus Christ because when He comes we will be with Him not with these kpop members we are so happy about. I stopped being fan since last year. Ive been into kpop for the last seven years but when I became christian I had a great spiritual awakening even encountered demons manifesting through the music and kpop idols i am addicted to. Jesus freed me from all of this after all those horrific things I encountered. I just decided to close that open door and pray for all those people who are blind and even pray that those idols get to see His light.

This video was needed and im thankful for all other youtubers who have ovcered the topic of Kpop (Yaddiee, Little Light Studios, Servants of Christ). I think that a lot of Christians idolize them HEAVILY and most try to deny it or they idolize them without even realizing it. I got introduced to kpop in fifth grade and tbh you can get really drawn in with the appearances and music videos. I also really got into Kdramas (stayed up watching them, binging, just overall wasting my time to watch them) I wish more people would cover kdramas more in depth. The last kdrama I stopped at was Doom at Your Service and that was it for me (I also have a lot to say about it). In Servants of Christs video she actually revealed that the BTS boss(?) I think his name is Bang pd or something but he actually interacted with a spirit who gave him inspiration as well as IU (i think she's a solo artist) but she also had an interaction with a spirit and it gave her inspo. If the music is not of God, what are we actually listening to, and what is the influence behind it?? I also remember in a BTS video where they actually SMASHED the statue of Mary holding Jesus and they had Greek goddess statues as well! I have sm to say about kpop but this comment is already so long. The Bible says to not set our eyes upon anything wicked. When i tell yall there is so much evil and wickedness in media, whether its in korea or the US in Hollywood, there is SO MUCH evil, Satan uses it to his advantages and people try to push it off and say that people are digging too much when it comes to revealing that evil. Ask yourself this, are you denying these things because they're not true or is it because you're not willing to give it up? We need to be aware. I would recommend just stop listening to/watching it period.

its not only in kpop but in all the music industry. We cant forget that satan "worked" in the music on heaven, and he uses music to reach people because he is a specialist on that.

I’m really glad I wasn’t the only one who experienced this with kpop, it was a rough 2 year period and I finished it at such a point that I listened to a kpop song and literally started crying because I felt like I couldn’t let it go… it’s literally so scary, I don’t wish this for anyone. But it taught me to be able to distinguish what is too much at a certain point, and what isn’t… And I could go on and on about the things you pointed out that “well yes, but-“.. no. That’s not the answer from me. I still learn Korean, because one day I’d really wanna go to Korea for missions, and I do still watch kdramas as well, so in total, I listen to korean worship songs and korean dramas are the only things I watch. I have peace with this, the kind of peace that came from the Lord and Him telling me, yes, korean is the way to go. My advice is: if you’re a serious Christian, pray for the Lord to give you wisdom and show you what is too much and what isn’t. He will answer you! Kpop was once my crazy obsession, now I just love Korean and Asian people and any people in general because of how God transformed me!!

So my friend is a huge fan of Enhypen, and of course I like their music too. However, I had MAJOR convictions in their new comeback (bite me) because at that point it expressed explicit themes of satanism and demonicism (if that’s a word). I admit I got trapped in it despite the convictions because the songs were really catchy, and I kept trying to make excuses to myself like “oh it’s Korean and I don’t understand the language so im not really sinning” but that’s a major red flag because I know what it’s about and it’s so obvious I just chose to ignore it. In the translation of bite me, the lyrics are literally “come kiss me and bite me” “sidekick that worships you” it’s definitely not innocent. Especially with their song “Sacrifice (Eat Me Up)” even the title alone is a major red flag. I watched the music video and it was literally about heaven or hell, almost glorifying the “dark side”.. and don’t even get me started with the lyrics: “I dedicate to you my life You can devour me whole I dеdicate to you my life Consume my flеsh and blood, bae This bliss sacrificed by fate” It is SO demonic and I chose to ignore it because of the innocent looking group of guys who are just talented artists. And I’m guilty of constantly consuming their music because it’s catchy. But it’s not feeding my soul. I will do everything to focus on God and fix my eyes on Him and I pray that He will deliver me from this depleting obsession. It is scary that something so lighthearted is actually very dark and people especially young impressionable teens are easily giving into this and worshipping it. I pray for my friend too, she idolizes them and it’s concerning to watch because she devotes so much time into them. She doesn’t know God but I don’t know how to share the gospel with her because I’ve tried before and she usually tried switching topics. Anyways I have lots more to say but thanks for reading 😅

I am a Muslim teenager who is almost obsessed with kpop, and recently I realized that it is really bad for not only me but my relationship with allah (god). So I clicked on this video, although it talks about Christianity i understood the point that u are coming from. Because as a Muslim I should pray 5 times a day, and kpop is really affecting my prayers and I started to pray less and less, but this video made me realize that I need to wake up to reality. After watching this video I immediately unfollowed every single kpop group on Instagram,I am still hesitant to unsubscribe them on RU-vid, but I hope sooner or later I will❤️

You are very brave. I see that in this latest generation of Kpop there is too much freemasonic and ocultist/satanist symbology. It is getting so obvious. Secondly, the obsession of their fanbase to "ship" members and fantasize about them in a same gender relationship. I see weird symbolism in BTS, Blackpink videos and now Le Sserafim.

I have realized this especially with hybe groups. And also miyeon from gidle has a song that literally has a snake sound in it. I love the people I pray for them but it’s a dark world and I have to disconnect even though it’s hard because I grow an emotional attachment to the people. Examples of recent releases that are just plain as day that Satan is involved I would encourage you to not even check them out if you’re curious I’ll write a description below each title. Le serrafim: unforgiven I mean it is just right there if you are aware of the word of god you know that that’s nothing to play around with. The dance includes devil horns. The video shows damaged angels and proves that the devil can come like an angel of light, but really he’s deceiving you like he always has and always will till it’s our time. Bite me: enhyphen The lyrics gave some suggestive demonic meanings I just. I can’t stop seeing the devils pressence in all of it. There’s so much more and I almost want to make a presentation video on it tbh:/

I let K pop and Kdramas go over a year ago but lately the enemy has been attacking me with that strong desire again. I’ve given into it several times. Im so grateful for God’s grace. I haven’t rlly been talking to anyone about it and I think that’s one of the ways how I got it wrong. I should be sharing to people who I trust. I relate to many of the testimonies posted in the comment section. The Holy Spirit revealed that I had to let all this stuff go very early on in my walk with Jesus. It is a huge hindrance for me. May God give all of us strength whoever used to struggle with this or is presently battling with temptations. My thought is why would I choose garbage which produces temporary pleasure over a God like Yah????

You know what’s crazy, I was cottage core , dark academia, queencore, fairy core blah blah blah before it was a trend. However I was dressing like a grandma and into old English or American dark wood interior (because I have in one of the founding states) and teased for it. I was just living my life. Then it became a trend 😂. I also hate how there is sooooo much witchcraft and nonsense in a lot of aesthetics. The kind of stuff it’s encouraging people to partake in is crazy stuff (destruction of property, rituals, worshipping angels). Also people acting like something they are not. One of the benefits is that I can dress without feeling like I’m judged, for now until it stops being trendy.

As a K-pop Stan I totally agree with her, I Stan groups that are clean and that are Christians. But the thing that I do is that I'm able to heart K-pop without being obsessed with it like i used to. Now I worship more, and I focus more on my religion. Yes, I like some groups, but I don't put more of my time into it, I put more time into my religion. Now I'm not trying to start any problems. I'm just trying to say the type of K-pop I listen to and the type of groups I like ( which are clean and Christians) I might stop listening to it, though, no matter how hard it is, since I have to focus more on my religion and focus more on the man who died for my sins And the man that created me I do not support the lgbtq+ but I'm also not going to create problems or argue with them. Not only will I start to focus more and more on my religion, but it's because lately I've been dealing with stress and family problems, also much more. Which for me is not okay so I am now reading my Bible more and trying to change this life style of mine, I am not trying to keep this sinful life of mine. (I am a Christian and I am 11) So finding out more about kpop it IS A HUGE HUUUUGE red flag, so now thanks to this information I will now try to stop listening to kpop, stop sining, and most importantly calling these people "idols"

I have a friend who I would say is obsessed with this, so talking about this to her is going to be a big obstacle because she really loves them and she doesn’t serve the same God. However i would rather know that I tried and He will use it in whatever way he will, out of my understanding, rather than not try at all.

I just watched this video today and Im glad I found it, I got into kpop in 2019 when I was abt 13-14years old, the first group being BTS (which I do see is the most common way most people my age joined this little trend) it was something new to me and in my country Kpop isn't that popular since I'm from South Africa, when I tell you everything hit me as fast as a bullet train, I mean it, it was one thing after the other, first the music, then the music videos, fanfics and just compilation videos and I just felt the urge to drag my friends into the mix (which now I understand as doing the enemies work) they also went crazy like i did, it felt as though I couldn't live without kpop, it went on into 2020 and I left BTS's fan base and joined others, the desire grew even more and that's when I got exposed to wattpad, and a whole other things that are very sexual, I even started learning Korean and getting into zodiacs and stuff, but then I started having anxiety attacks and stuff which I had never had before but always found these kpop things so comforting, I was ignorant to everything they sang abt and the signs, they deceive us with all this and they only mission is to trap you forever, it is crazy to think that they use the same attacks on everyone and the thought of some still believing they are good and they mean no harm is crazy because they are well aware of everything that they are doing, they are aware and yet multiple stans treat them like innocent children,😢 My mom was against my obsession with kpop and hated seeing their pictures, videos etc on my phone and slowly I started to rebel against my mom, and unknownly rebel against God, I prayed, but it wasn't those meaningful prayers, it was as though I had the attitude of "I was raised with prayer so I'll just continue" without actually forming a real relationship with God 2021 I was a "multi-Stan" and when I looked back ,my life was terrible, I didn't study much, all my time was devoted to kpop and kpop was every where, on my tiktok, Instagram, RU-vid, they were everywhere and it was the reason why I didn't sleep enough, didn't eat enough, didn't practice school work enough and didn't even bother reading the Bible 😢, in each and every group I stanned I had a "man" and now looking at it, it's more like being promiscuous in a way, normalizing having multiple "partners", normalizing committing adultery and many more things, but at the end of 2021, God saved me, he woke me up and opened my eyes to all these things and I decided to leave kpop with one of my friends who also felt the exact say way, the others didn't seem to understand what I said to them when I explained what kpop is meant to do and they still haven't left it😢 but sadly I went back to kpop in 2022 but finally broke free after talking to God and committing my life to him, I surrendered it all, my favorite songs, my tiktok account, my Instagram account and decided to cut my media consumption time NOW i can stand before people who are just like the younger version of myself as a testimony and helped them with what God taught me and read the Bible happily After this long ride of torture the lord provided me with a beautiful ending 😊and I'm greatful Thank you for speaking out about this, surely this will reach all the lost souls who depend on kpop to survive

Can you please talk about anime too? I am a young Christian and I used to be addicted to anime: I stopped doing school work and told lies(about doing schoolwork) and I started reading a lot of bl stuff because of the encouragement from it and the community. After I realized that homosexuality is not of God, I became confused; I started to doubt God. I turned to my mom because I was scared of my thoughts and took her advice. Now, I am starting to get closer to God. Although I still have my ups and downs, I stopped doing what I used to do and started listening to the voice in the back of my head.

I just finished watching this, and as someone who's still really into kpop, like I mean I've been feeling the conditioning before because I used to have a solid consistent relationship with Jesus, but I'm really starting to feel it now. I don't know how I will be abw to give it up, but I just want to be honest with God and just tell Him everything I truly feel. It's really starting to slap harder than it was before and I've always avoided this conversation with God but right now it doesn't seem like I can escape from the conviction. Let me be honest, I love kpop and I've been into it since 2021. I used to get this feeling like I have do let it all go and I still do because if I'm being honest it does seem to be ruling my life. But then obviously I've pushed that thought further and further back in my mind. I really want to let it all go or at least not being soo deep into it like I I'm now, well I'm way less obsessed than I was but like I just don't wanna be sooooooo invested in it, I don't know where I should start but I really feel I need to be honest and clear to God about how I feel about all of this and not try to cover things up, because there is no ways I can continue to fall asleep to TXT videos everyday like I am now instead of falling asleep in the presence of God. I haven't watched the video yet but it's really starting to make me think a lot more especially seeing all these comments.

Right now at the moment I am trying to get closer to God. The reason why I drifted from him was because of KPOP. Like you said, it is really easy to get attracted to those things and I know for a fact that it's true because of my own personal experience. I started watching KPOP at the age of 13 (which was 3 years ago). I watched the BTS "Boys With Luv" music video and I was hooked. From how they looked to the way they expressed themselves in the song was just so 'catchy.' After that I went onto other groups and became so obsessed to the point where I had followed them on social media, watched EVERY music video possible, watched fan fictions, fantasized about being with them, listening to everything they said, KPOP practically controlled my life. It became so bad that I watched videos on how to "become Korean." I am so glad that I have finally drifted away and found Christ once more. At some points have had to catch myself from falling into my temptations but I am staying strong and now it has been slowly becoming less of an interest for me, almost to the point where I could honestly care less about what goes on in that music industry.

I thank the Lord God almighty he opened my eyes, before he saved me I was obsessed with Taemin particularly the song “want”. Dear brothers and sisters Today, I want to write my testimony on how my life looked like when I was listening to KPOP, how Lord of Lords delivered me from listening to worldly music, watching a lot of content from some groups and solists, and how my spiritual life looks like now. My journey with kpop I discovered kpop in 2018. However, I only listened to a few music groups: Blackpink; Twice; Red Velvet and one song from Sunmi. I won't say too much about it for it isn't that important. I just liked listening to this music but wasn't that invested in it. However in March 2021, I started listening to BTS, Enhypen and TXT. I quickly wanted to just know their names so that I could recognize them, but I began to really like their songs. I loved the fact that everytime I was sad, I could listen to their songs and feel happiness. I felt a lot of energy after listening to their songs and began to watch different types of content from these groups and videos their fans published. I was very anxious and thought that they are the reason why my anxiety calms down. Whenever I felt hopeless, I came to their music, I also posted posts about them on a few apps. I didn't see any red flags and even when I began to see that I depend on them when it comes to happiness and my well-being in general and felt miserable, very sad when I thought of going back to school after breaks on which I listened to Kpop and watched Kpop content for a few hours everyday. Even though I could see how I depend on kpop groups too much, I didn't even think of taking a break from it. There were times when I wasn't listening to this music for a few days, but I still watched content related to it. I didn't see that it is satanic, full of blasphemy against my Creator God, personal Savior Jesus Christ and maybe blasphemy against my Precious Friend Holy Spirit too. I was so blinded by all of those innocent looking people that I didn't see that there is so many wrong things about this industry. I saw how people working in it are treated, the negative impact their songs have on my emotions and heart (my heart hardened really quickly after listening to some songs), I heard songs about the devil and revenge, and even though I tried to be closer to God, I actually didn't seek Him in the right way, as I was too invested in this music industry and didn't stop listening to these songs for the sake of my identity as a child of God. I even loved singing them. I even started thinking that I should be like those singers and tried to learn how to sing and dance like them. I had a lot of scenarios about becoming a kpop idol (even though the name is also a huge red flag which I didn't see as I was blinded by satan) to the point that I even dreamed about talking with my (now ex) favorite groups. I am ashamed for I even tried to introduce other people to kpop not knowing that it was one of the reasons why I was so miserable, but I realized it only recently. How God delivered me I actually didn't have to do much to get rid of listening to kpop. On 15th March, I went on referat and the for the first time in my life I truly felt that it's not a priest talking about God to me, but it's God talking to me through the priest. I felt a strong presence of the Holy Spirit and loved it. When I went out of the church, my mind was filled with the thoughts that I want to truly start seeking God and spend much more time with Him, at least a few hours. I also lost the desire to listen to the wordly music and after some time I also stopped having the desire to watch movies that aren't about God, study if it isn't about Him (I still study and have good grades, but I just don't keep on seeking knowledge after school at all. However, I love getting to know about Almighty more). The comparison how my life looked like before and how it looks like now I can easily notice that just like I had so much anxiety when I was listening to kpop, it is gone. I sometimes feel anxiety when I want to explain the Bible for someone and obey God's will but it disappears thanks to the Most High. Earlier, I used to compare my looks and abilities to everyone around me and got way too involed in beauty standards. However, today I noticed that I haven't felt ugly or wanted to change anything about my looks for a few months now (it's May, so 4 months' passed since I was born again). I also stopped feeling so sad and lonely, don't need to depend on music to feel happy. I found my identity and only true happiness in the Holy Trinity and know that they always care about me. Even when someone rejects me or doesn't treat me with respect, I always come back to my Heavenly Father and remind myself that having Him, Jesus and Holy Spirit in my life is more than enough. I did overthink everything, but stopped. Randomly, different thoughts about future fill my mind, but I able to ignore them and focus on my Savior. These days, I get tempted so much to come back to kpop. To be honest, I wanted to come back to kpop to listen to Christian songs. However, I also had a strong desire to listen to other kpop groups but my King of Kings lead me to the video that talked about the negative impact it has on faith of people. Then, I realized that I could watch kpop content and listen to this genre even for 5 hours during the day but prayed for only 25-30 minutes and didn't feel that I need God as I thought that I only need those groups. I watched a few videos about how bad it is and on the next day, I told myself that I won't come back to this again. I was tempeted way more often and the thoughts that told me to come back to this were really intensive, I also saw some articles and videos on the websearcher but didn't choose to waste my this way. I learned how to stand firm and I am thankful for Holy Trinity, for God helped me. Thoughts of the books I read about kpop also show up in my mind and try to encourage to read them again, but I will not break for God. He died for me, I can at least put Him first and not go back to something that is against Him. You can choose Jesus as well! His Arms are always opened for you, no matter how much you've sinned. He loves you to the point that He even died for you, took your blame on Himself to give you salvation and not let you perish. He is always there to listen to you and give you comfort. Just accept His offer, you won't regret it in the end :)

I was a hard core kpop fan for only 8 months and it still really took over my life. I was really close with Christ before kpop. In 2020 -2021 I was a bts /kpop hater and all of my friends liked it. 2022 is when I became a fan. I was REALLY into them. Then I was introduced to more kpop bands. But i go to a Christian school and I have a teacher who talks about how the music industry is so satanic and I felt so convicted and guilty but I still liked kpop. God was giving soo many signs but I ignored them. It came to the point where I didn't even want to be Christian anymore and I wanted to be agnostic. There where times I slowly was losing interest and I ignored it. Until February of this year I had to urge to take all of my posters down and put all of my albums away. And now I'm closer to God than ever. I personally think the kpop industry os worse than the western in some ways. 1) The western industry is get exposed alot lately but there are only a few videos about the kpop industry 2) they are literally called kpop idols and people idolize them SO much it's like they were made to be idolized and worshipped. 3) there are so many people wo are deceived and don't even think the kpop industry is bad and they think it's nothing like the western. I'm so glad God delivered me from it and I hope more people wake up and get delivered

I am planning to unfollow my kpop faves but I won't deny the fact that I am really getting a hard time to do that since I adore them so much, specially nct dream. but I just decided to not force myself just like that because I am so much struggling with it, I just think to not always be updated on what's up with them. focus on myself and to get closer more to God, and I think in that case it will slowly take away my addiction to them and control my wordly addiction after that with the help of the Holy Spirit. however, we can't really just take wordly things out because we're in the world.

Thanks for this video and for all the stories in the comment section. I got into kpop when i was 12-13 (now i'm 18) and calling them "idols" always felt weird to me since idolizing people is wrong. There were also many disturbing things in MVs and lyrics but like many of us I turned a blind eye on it and thought that K-pop was an innocent world and they could do nothing wrong, it was just their "concepts". But I think my eyes slowly started to open yesterday with Lesserafim's new MV Easy where there are scenes of them dancing in a church with weird signs behind them (eyes, triangles) and revealing clothes. I think Hybe also does weird thing with Txt and Enhypen were they involve demonic lyrics or MVs, JYP, SM and YG as well. So i'll try to listen to it less + read lyrics before listening. I'm obsessed with the group Kep1er and i'm actually glad they'll disband because my obssession towards them is crazy and takes all of my time, to the point i can't spend a day without listening to their song or pay attention to news related to them.

I've been a One Direction fan and well you can say that I'm just into pop music & other pop culture related things. I wasn't a fan of BTS for years and even fought some of the ARMYs on social media but not until Dynamite came out and that's when I think 'what if I give them a try' and you know their songs aren't vulgar unlike from the western artists. When I got into them I was awakened by V, those tarot readings, predictions, etc. popped out of nowhere in my recommendations and I got shock about it. I was ignoring that nudge inside of me that these things are not right and unfortunately I got into that and I was just only a fan of them for a month but I already experienced those things when I got sucked into that rabbit hole. I even thought that V was the 'right one' for me and even thinking that he's my "twin flame" because I got those "signs", "synchronicities", etc. which now I know is another deceptive concept of the devil and I was also shocked that there are so many other ARMYs that thinks he's the 'right one' and even got awakened by one of the 7 and also started seeing those "angel numbers". As days went by I also started hearing voices and that ringing sound in my ear that I almost lost my sanity, I have anxiety and it seemed like it doubled-up and it made me think about suicidal thoughts when I got into them and those new age stuffs. 💔 I was a fan of them for like 6 months until God convicted me of idolatry and He also gave me a vision of JK March last year wearing that Cult Cloak and he was with two other men and it was like a sacrificing ceremony and that vision really startled me 😶 but I was still somehow indenial and that's when I also searched the Truth Behind K-Pop. You're just like being hypnotized by them until God awakens you. I learned about these masonic symbolisms being used on videos but guess what I was still deceived and that I thought K-Pop was innocent but it turned out to be the most dangerous. I'm still having spiritual attacks because of the music and those new age stuffs really opened the door to the enemy. But I am really thankful to God 'cause if it wasn't because of His mercy I would still be into them. 💔 I'm still struggling with other things but I am hoping and praying that He will deliver me from any other strongholds and the others who are also struggling... So i would mostly be on my phone watching RU-vid videos, at the time i felt lonely and my friends were dealing with their own lives since we finished school. We texted but they were mostly busy so i found kpop and saw how they showed behind the scenes stuff which made them seem more relatable and human. Another year past and i was in depression and my only sense of company was kpop singers and their funny videos that actually made me smile and laugh when things were hard. Eventually i had tiktok and i started watching lots of christian videos, i was born a christian by the way, and i started to really understand God and his position in my life. He worked on me in many ways to make me the way i am today. I started to see bad things going on in kpop and eventually with time things we becoming clear. I mostly listened to BTS but i was a fan of Blackpink to. Came to 2023, evil is just becoming the norm. We saw how in America everything was taking place. Kpop also started becoming provocative and disgusting. Kpop singers would do or say things and the fans would agree even if it was wrong. It is like an occult i would say. But thats not the worst part, some of these fan's are really young like 9 and under. You don't need to dig too deep to see videos of theses kpop singers being fantasized and sexualized. Pictures being zoomed in on certain body parts, shipping people in groups, sexual edits of them and even wriiten por*ography. All of this is being promoted to young children and when its talked about fans use the excuse "they are adults, they can do what they want". These singers are world renown even in hollywood so shouldn't they have consequences? Anyway children are being lead astray from God because of liking and listening to these people. As for the evil signs and demonic lyrics...thats a whole other story.

I feel called to share my story. I found BTS when I was in middle school & my love for their music immensely grew in high school (esp. bc of the pandemic). I started listening to other K-pop groups, I started watching k-dramas, & I was just watching so many Korean things on RU-vid (specially K-pop related) It wasn’t until my second semester of freshman year in college that everything changed. I did a 90 day spiritual retreat with other women at my college where we weren’t allowed to listen, watch, or read any secular content (there was more rules). When those 90 days were over, I listened to K-pop and was complete shocked. THIS IS WHAT I WAS LISTENING TOO?! My ears were opened 😅 Now, I’m reading my Bible everyday, praying, and I am completely better than the me last year. Music has the power to CHANGE LIVES. Not just music, but also videos, books, social media, etc. “You reap what you sow”. Watch, listen, and read things that bring you closer to God and watch what happens to your life.

The whole music sounded so nice, but then there were the lyrics that were giving off such weird vibes. Some lyrics that have shocked me are the ones from Lesserafim's songs "Unforgiven" and "Eve, Psyche and the Bluebird's wife". This video needs to get popular, because this girl is just right!! So the thing is, I'm not a cristian. I actually searched up spiritual kpop songs playlist, but I'm so glad I found this video. The things she said, and also the comments makes me feel understood. It feels like finally we're not hiding the truth. And the truth is that kpop makes most of us feel horrible. I became obsessed to the point where i even went and got a tattoo dedicated to them. I would be mad if i couldn't get a merch that was dropped. It felt like i was dropping my own culture to adopt there's. I'd have to kinda force myself to like/listen to their songs and if i didn't i would feel bad. I was having sexually daydreams and dreams of them all together with me and the whole 9 yards. But i literally snapped out of it when JK dropped his new song and heard/ saw how sexually it is and he was throwing up the number of the beast. I've always saw the symbolism nut choose to ignore it. (I'm legit getting headache writing this). And at one point i was so obsessed with their song blood sweat & tears it felt like i couldn't have a good day without listening to it. im glad i found this video so thank you for making it. I m really addicted to kpop...i really Wanted to come out from this addiction.....and my relationship with lord is not like the way that was before.....i want to do fellowship with lord ....but when i start to pray and reading Bible,it will only last for couple of days.......i will constantly binge watch kpop and after sometime i will regret it and then will start praying and again start watching kpop....and this loop is going and going on...and it is also affecting my studies......i m starting to hate myself for this......i know lord loves me he still loves me.....but my guilt is increasing day by day coz now i feel that i am disappointing him with my deeds again and again ,he forgives me and i just.........😔

Hey sis, I just watched this again. I like rewatching holy fruit as I feel God's love and righteousness through you, to give me strength. Jesus compelled me to watch this again, to remind me. I want to say God bless you for this. Recently I spoke with another sister on this, as she makes videos on K-Pop satanism and idolatry and the witchcraft in it. She was a bit passive-aggressive towards my question and made me feel guilty and bad for still enjoying K-Pop in my heart, mind, body, and soul. And, that did make me feel weird, but I asked her if listening to Godly approved K-Pop songs are okay, and she replied with her response towards it. At this moment, I feel my soul. Yes, my flesh wants to take control and see and feel what it wishes and it wants to indulge in K-Pop feeling as though listening to Godly-approved K-Pop is okay. But, I pray and work with my dad every day to crucify my flesh. As I do know not every K-Pop song is evil or satanic, however, I feel God calling me to fast. Also, he needs me to cut K-Pop permanently out of my life, until he is ready to use me for this most holy, glorious plan. And, yes. K-Pop is included. It could be God helping me expose the evil spells of the industry but also infiltrating Satan's lair. I love my Father and I want to be with him forever, for all of eternity in Jesus's name. The crazy thing is after watching your video I felt so ready to quit K-Pop once and for all. But, for some reason after watching my feelings come back that not all K-Pop is satanic. Which is true, however, my Father wants me to separate from it. He wants me to have nothing to do with it, as I will be fasting from K-Pop. Also, the question I asked the sister in Christ was whether a song like iKon's Love Scenario sounds so Godly approved and a song like ENHYPEN Fever is obviously really bad, despite it having an amazing sound to it. The lyrics are Yeah, no. But, If any spells are bounds to me, I rebuke all in the Mighty name of my beautiful most powerful Father who is King, Jesus Christ. And, I pray for God to reveal his glory and mission as one of his warriors in the heavenly holy kingdom. Thanks for the amazing video. I know that there are million of secret devil messages but I can't stop watching.... I am not young I know what they are doing but I can't stop loving kpop. When I watch a new video from my fav band I see so many bad symbols and wonder why other people don't see what I see. I guess I have an open eye but still I can't resist.

The drama have been get more wick and wicked lately , I stoped listening to music while back but had in and out with the dramas … as the lord have been showing me things I was unable to see in the old shows I rewatched.
