His points about monitoring the connection rather than the reaction are very interesting for me, exposes the razen (?) spiral aspects of the technique and the lessons they provide.

It is very interesting to see his motion and idea because it is quite different from how I would do but somehow it is also very similar.

If it's a sankyo it'll be similar lol, but everyone has a slightly different take on the mechanics or more importantly what they actually want to USE the sankyo for (to readjust the partner, pain compliance, forward kuzushi, backward kuzushi, buoyancy "upward" kuzushi shoulder control, taking the free hand back so it cant strike etc)
