This video has hit right in the feels, the only thing that still makes me sad is the fact that international companies have been set up in India and we have a huge pool of talented people but they are the ones who are getting thrashed because of this toxic office culture while people abroad log off at 5pm and here we are judged if we don’t reply at 10 in the night. Sales is the most toxic department in any company they dont care about anything 😢😢 I also did sales internship and i have decided to not go for sales 😭 😐😐💀 very stressful 😕 very toxic 🤢 management currently I'm pursuing MBA from a tier 2 college my initial plan was changed my initial plan was to write CAT and get in to a good tier 1 MBA college for my career and develop my family because of some personal issues in my house I dropped that plan and wrote state common entrance test for MBA and MCA ie apicet and I secured a decent rank and got a opportunity to get in to a college with subsidized fee by god's grace I earned my 1st year tution fee from my 2nd job which lasted only 3 months then my college started but I want to kept this secret because of my toxic colleagues and manager yes my 2nd job is like sales and targets and which are optional hope I'll get in to a great job with good worklife balance and heavy pay cheque
Sales career is not that bad; it's the industry mainly. many edtech companies are literally looting people's money right now! I also worked as a business development guy doing IT sales; I loved that job! I really feel b2b sales are not toxic at all!
Rejecting a job is good. But when reality hits hard It brings tears to my eyes. Pending rent I need money asap just to eat a little at least and rent is pending I just want to pay it offfffff Life is hard without money
Selling to gullible students (and their parents) is not that difficult, but yes, if you know deep down that the course might not help, you are hard selling / pushing it down forcefully, you know you will have that guilt later on too. On the other hand, B2B sales is the toughest if the brand/company or the product/service is new and customers won't trust you

Same situation iwas gone through last year really we're scaming people to meet our targets and deadlines I was joined as a intern but I'm just not involved in this and I did only paper work for clients but in my 6 months of internship HR removed with in only 45 days because I got to know about some scams in my office I worked in a gold pledgeing company just sales job and pay is also not great and very toxic situation that's why I feeled very reliving and peaceful 😢 😭
No one can give more than a year to a sales job that's no wonder anymore, I overcame a month and then quit after meeting targets and bonus and believe or not this is the exact reason I quit as well, the guilt that it's not my money 💰
