I came to your channel while trying to get some infos on a 93 ranger i plan on buying, I like your approach to life my guy. You are salt of the earth. Thanks for sharing. 🙏
I am thinking of pulling my first loan to buy one from a private seller pretty soon. Hoping things will work out because those trucks just look amazing. Thanks for sharing your experience with your good ol truck, and as others have said, you have an amazing outlook on life. Keep on truckin my friend
Thanks for the inspiration! I have a 93 that same color that has sat under a tree for years. I am going to wash, clay bar, and ceramic wax it this week and see if I can bring it back to anywhere near that condition. It runs like a top and does all the truck stuff I need. I do not want or need the $60K monster trucks being made today.
Words of wisdom for sure. Man I'm sure we'd be good friends in real life. I also try to take care of my 93 Ranger. People have already asked me why I want to keep it and why not sell it. Well i don't want to look for another truck i have to pay for if i already own this one. I even fought the insurance to not salvage it after it got into a recent accident. I love this 30 year old truck.
Oh yes I am sure that we would be great friends! We think alike! Lol. I feel the same way about the Ranger and about car and truck payments! I really enjoyed reading your comment! Thanks so much my friend and God bless you!
Some straight up southern wisdom. Thanks for lending down your knowledge to the next generation, kids today (my generation) don't understand the idea of permanence, taking care of something. Today we live in a plastic throw away culture, and you're here letting the yungin's know how it ought to be done, thank you.
I appreciate your kind words! You my friend are exactly right! I know that old truck is not worth very much but it had served me well for many years. Just because I try to take care of my things. You understand completely my friend! Thank you very much for watching the video! I sure do appreciate it! Have a great evening!
Just like what my dad would say. I also drive a 93 Ford Ranger that I paid $300 for. It has taken me from Utah to Chicago, down to Santa Monica, and back to Utah before it required a few simple repairs. I'm in the process of fixing her up nearly to new and I hope he (because it is a stick shift) will look as great as yours. A lot of work but I will see it through. Thanks for the video!
I really like my little Ranger! It is a good little truck! Like you said, other than a few minor things, it is cheap to operate! Thanks for you comment my friend!
Agreed brother on all youve said here. I have the identical truck I aquired very cheap in fairly rough shape and nursed it back to good health and appearance and it has not once left me down. I tell the younger people remember the 60k pickup is money gone from your life, so save yer money for a good house or invest but dont blow your money on these monsters, its money straight down the toilet. Keep up the good work man 🙏🙏
Well thank you! I see that you get what I am talking about. You and I work hard for what we have. Thank you very much for your comment! Send me pics of your truck on Instagram: PrimeredisBest or Facebook: Primered is Best. I would love to see it! Thanks!
Amazing really beautiful ranger you have, i’ve only ever had extended cabs, i’m about to be on my fourth ranger and i’m taking steps to get a 93-94 ranger single cab because of that interior
Thank you very much for the kind words about my Ford Ranger! It's a good little truck! I have had that truck a long time. I have tried my best to take good care of it! I appreciate you watching the video! You know those Rangers are very good trucks! Have a great day!
Much love man I love your hobby and understand everything you said and sure we all feel the same way lol. You’re so cool nice calm relaxing voice. Pause….. hope you and your wife doing well during this pandemic. Off to that same job environment you were talking about chow.
Thank you very much for watching the video! And thank you for your kind words! I am glad that you understand what I am talking about! You and I must be cut out of the same mold my friend! I really appreciate your comment! It made my whole day! Have a blessed day my friend! Please comment anytime!
My first new vehicle was a 1983 Ford Ranger. I probably should have gotten the four cylinder, 4 speed, with 6’ bed, but I got the 2.8 V6, 5 speed, and 7 foot bed. The payment almost killed me back then and it was probably only $150 or so a month. I should have kept it but I traded it in on a 1986 Monte Carlo Super Sport with a bigger payment when I started making more money lol. It was a good little truck, excellent gas mileage. The four cylinder 6’ would have been better because the motor was peppier around town and the six foot bed would have been fine.
I always thought that those Rangers were pretty nice looking. I also wanted one of those Monte Carlo SS car too. You are such a blessed man. To bad that RU-vid wasn't around back then. You could've had a channel and I would have been a subscriber to you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this video. I really appreciate it.
Those little Ford Rangers are pretty good trucks! I think that they knew what they were doing when they made those trucks! They are still running around here where I live too! Thanks so much for sharing your story with me! I really enjoyed reading it!
I have 1993 Ford Ranger XLT extended cab I bought new in 1992, 173,000 miles. I don't drive it much now but still looks new. Every time I take it for inspection at my Acura dealer, the mechanic wants to buy it from me. Keep up your plan it does work.
Thank you for your comment. This is a good little truck. I bet yours is a good truck too. I have people trying to buy my truck too. But for me, it is not for sale. Take care of your truck my friend. Thank you for watching the video. Have a great day.
Well thank you very much for sharing your story with me! Yes they are good little trucks! I really love the one we have and I know that you must love yours too! Thank you very much for your comment! I enjoyed reading it!
Hello Mr. Dig. I think that the tire sizes are 235x70x15. The wheels are "Corvette style" rims. They are like a unilug pattern. I have a lot of people stare and ask me how I got a Corvette rim on a Ford! LOL. I have lots of fun with this. My little "S10 Ranger" is a good little truck! It's been really good for me for many years! I hope yours lasts you a long time too! Thank you very much for your comment! I really appreciate it.
My saying is stay in school get a good job that pays good and then you will have good and nice things. The reason I am in school is because I want good paying job so that I can fix my 2 trucks and get me American muscle cars and my other 2 trucks that I would like to have.
They are very good little trucks! Always have had good luck with mine! I'll bet yours is a good truck too! Mine needs a few more things done to it. But I am very glad to have it! It's a keeper! Thanks very much for watching the video and for your comment! I really appreciate it!
