Well the thing with A380 is that its only good for long distance travel, but its costly to operate which is why Airbus has stopped manufacturing A380 and they have stopped taking new orders because no one wants to buy them now except a few middle eastern carriers

Simple It not very much fuel efficient as per modern twin engine Wide Bodies..... Hard to maintain espicially in Indian Airports and MRO... with future large inductions where will you prak them when they are grounded??

#askpt Nashik International Airport mein bohot saalo se export ke liye cargo planes like Antonov 124 & Boeing 747s land hote aaye hai but fir bhi commercial passenger planes ki need hone ke bawajood 1-2 hi Indian airlines services deti hai & fir bandh bhi hojati hai even after having high need, footfall & air traffic eventually sadly... And I must tell you Nashik airport is under HAL & waha fighter jets like Migs & Sukhoi bhi manufacture and test hote hai which made it an internationally par airport even before most of the other airports in India...

Singapore, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur are already doing this job. Maybe if the demand rises then India can also pick up some load provided we have enough capacity to handle the excess traffic

It can fly between domestic metros or High traffic connections.resulting less traffic and availing peak time flights catering for flyers . 1 flight reducing 5 Planes all economy

World consider A-380 a white elephant for maintenance. Emirates the main user of A380 currently shifting from A380 to A350. Buying A380 is worst decision.

No emirates in not shifting from A380 to A350. Emirates loves the A380(said My Sir Tim Clark). Emirates said that A380 is the best plane for emirates as it suits the need of emirates. Sir Tim Clark even told that if there is a plane big like A380 in future, he will surely buy it. BTW Emirates bought 777-9 TO REPLACE THE A380 AS IT HAS THE NEAREST CAPCITY TO AIRNUS 380. So don't just blabber something

I don't agree with your analysis of Hub model not working in India due to its geographic location. Instead I think India could be a great gateway to SE Asia and Far Asia.

Uskeliye Singapore hai jo Australia se India and even Middle East and Europe ko aache se connect kar sakta hai. Yeh India mai possible nahi hai. Singapore se middle East and to Europe jada direct and easy hai. Yeh India mai nahi ho sakta kyunki humme Pakistan se through Jana padta hai. South se bi Direct Europe Jana bi muskil hai because first middle eastern countries yeh hone nahi degi and second isko successful banane ke liye other countries ki connectivity sahi honi chaiye. SE ke saath nahi ho sakta because Singapore hai inn demands ko pura karne ke liye. Australia ke paas bhaut saara route hai America and Europe paunche ka and other more. Local demand ke saath foreign demands ko bi fulfill karna padega. And yeh geography through nahi ho sakta. Vistara ko isiliye shuru kiya tha tata and Singapore airlines ke saath so yeh hub to hub model ka. Ussme utna success nahi mila

@immortalwarrior2695 : I would be interested in looking at feasibility study. Esa nhi hoga, wesa nhi hoga, ye already hai wha pe. Statement like these donot justify why it wont work here. There is a huge market and space for a lot of competition. Middle eastern airlines have completely dominated in our routes but honestly people have very little choices. With the way growth in our airline sector is projecting we will have as many travellers as these airlines are carrying from India only. We dont want to start preparing then. We have to be ready for that time.

@@srijanpandey91 geography allow nahi karegi. There are many geographical factors. Pura bolne lage jounga toh yeh comment jada ho jayega. Simply kahe, India ki mountain chain bhaut saari hawa ko rokta hai. Cold winds and such. Yeh cold winds airplane mai drag paida karta hai plus Engine ko damage hone ka chance bi baan jata hai. Isiliye China bi bhaut hi kaam flights chalate hai Tibet and Xinziang region mai and mostly trains and recently bullet trains se connectivity karna chate hai. China ko agar USA ya Canada Jana ho toh Singapore ke raaste ho jata hai. Same with Japan, Taiwan and other eastern and SE countries. Because of Pacific Ocean and humid winds se weather ki problems. Yeh aache se explain utna nahi Kiya but simply bole toh geography and weather ke chalte India ko hub nahi bana sakta. And Frankly this is also true in most parts of the world. Only Australia, Singapore, Middle East and America hi aise points hai jaha par hub ban sakta hai. Russia bi hub Bane ka potential hai but vo hona bhaut muskil hai. India mai geography ke chalte yeh impossible hai. Location se lekar weather pattern and other geological factors.

@@srijanpandey91 in fact yeh cheez bi bhaut phele factor karti hai. Middle East nai location ka faida utaya. Plus uss time Pe bi humme middle East hoke Jana parta hai. Jo bi America ya Europe se aata hai India ya SE jaane Jo, toh middle East hi hoke Jana padta hai. Yeh India mai possible nahi hai and most airline companies isko aache se samajthe hai.

@immortalwarrior2695 : I agree with most of your point specially the inaccessibility over Pakistan Airspace and few hubs already there which has got first mover advantage. But airline business is a heavy cost intensive business. There are other airlines which work on hub model like British Airways, Lufthansa and Air france. They are doing good business as well. I am hoping same for India. So I am sure with proper investment and good management we will be profitable. But yes in summary not disagreeing with your point completely. Only suggesting to look for a solution which is in our hand.

Sabse bada point miss kar diya aapne, jaise UAE and Singpore mid point padte hai east-west travel same ussi tarah India bhi mid point hai and Air India isko hub and spoke jaise operate kar sakti hai but voh kabhi nhi kar payenge and the reasons being- 1. Hamare bade aiports already bohot jyada busy hai ex-Mumbai and Delhi 2. Plane ki manufacturing hi band ho gaye hai although bohot saare past operators like Thai Airways unhe sell kar rahi hai, so agar khridna chahe toh khrid sakte hai. 3. For today's standard A380 is inefficient due to its architecture and engines. 4. Only Emirates was able to make A380 profitable for them, so generally it not profitable at all for all mentioned reasons in video. so essa nhi hai ki India me operate nhi kar sakte hai regularly A390s land hote hai Delhi Mumbai and other cities, we have stands and infrastructure needed for it. bohot dino baad Infranews ne itni average video banayi hai.

Firstly many airlines who operate the A380 says it was their worst decision to buy in. BUT EMIRATES MAKES HUGE PROFITS AS IT HAS 120 A380 IN THEIR FLEET WHICH DRASTICALY REDUCES THE COST OF BUING, MRO, etc. So Indian airlines operating the a380 doesn't makes sense as their model is generally point to point.
