Why Is Everyone Else Succeeding In Life Except Me? 

Loved this! like you I too went through the wilderness period, I was an unemployed graduate, had a failed relationship and nothing seemed to work out for me no matter how hard I tried. It seemed like all my peers were doing very well. I was so depressed and wanted to give up on everything. However this situation brought me closer to God. Looking back on it I needed to go through that and I appreciate how much God has blessed me since then. It taught me to trust God and His timing. For my sisters Proverbs 16:9 says "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps" the Lord has a plan for you all which is greater than our own plans, keep trusting in Him, it shall come to pass in His perfect timing .

I just finished with Uni and moved back with my mom. Instead of worrying about finding a job and not succeeding, I find myself thanking Him for this season of my life...''there will be seed time, and there will be time for harvest and a wise man will know the difference'...that scripture rings in my mind all the time when doubt or worry try to sneak up on me. I know that my time for harvest is coming, therefore I intend with Gods help to be fully present in my seed time (this season of my life). God is always working for our good...thank you, was truly blessed by your words.

I am a man taught to take care of his own and it has been extremely difficult losing a job at 38 years old to feel successful. Being single I feel as if life is trying to teach me a lesson. Hopefully God can forgive me for being selfish.

I was in the same position 3 1/2 years ago. The Lord stood by me and my family. I always give him praised whether I am happy or sad, because there is always someone in a worse position than me. Thanks for this encouragement

I was that person who praise the Lord regardless of my situation, spoke in tongues and all, instead of a breakthrough i went spiralling downwards, my problems became worse, i had to leave the church because i couldn't even get support, instead i was ridiculed and looked down at. I now learned that church people are the worst ever, 99 percent of born again christians are hypocrites who will never care for you when you down, they laugh at you behind your back & backstab you with every given opportunity, that include their pastors. I have walked this road for more than 30 yrs now & sometimes its a bliss but most times its so hard. I still believe in Jesus & pray sometimes, for it gives me peace but going to church is not something good for me. Thanks for youtube i can get summons from the likes of you. God Bless...

Wow,.I've been going through a.similar season for the past few years, even though it seems my my whole life has been challenging. I've defintely had times where I've didnt trust Him, didnt pray.amd wasn't concerned about it, angry towards God, felt detached, etc. I've been trying to stay in His word and prayerful, trying to get back to the place where I can truly say I love Him. Its been hard and I haven't come.to.the full understanding of why things have been the way they've been for me. Some days are harder than others as far as men feeling discouraged, etc.

I finished uni in June and ended up having to move back in with my parents after all my job offers fell through, I’ve been applying and applying and it took its toll on me and I began to pull away from God, wondering how I could be the only one who hadn’t found a job, but now I realise it’s because God wants me to be closer to him. This is my season of planting and harvest will come in his time - for now, I’ll keep reminding myself of Matthew 6:33 ♥️

I was very blessed by those words because I have recently been their. doing all the crying and trying to bribe God and just like u the Spirit of God asked me if i was done crying and get off the floor. shocked me to here it so clear in my spirit. How I can relate to your testimony.. I once went to complain to the Lord.. I had a list in my mind of what I had been constantly praying n seeking God for... I needed to hear this. This is what I'm experiencing in life right now. I also just had an experience last night similar to what you described.... I always walk home from work. Its a 30 minute walk. But last night my legs were so sore and I didn't think I could make it. I checked the bus schedule and raced to the bus stop. Just as I was crossing the street the bus pulled up. We were both stopped by the red light. When the light turned green I began to run across the street. I knew I would make it because there were 3 people waiting to get on the bus. Just as I approached the back of the bus, the last person stepped on and the doors closed. Normally the bus doesn't move until the person on the bus puts their money in and then the doors close and the bus proceeds. I was now passing the back doors of the bus, it had not began to move so I knocked hard on the windows of the bus and the bus took off without me. I was in shock!!! I could not believe it. I was in such shock that I couldn't really get mad which is my norm. Not willingly to wait an hour for the next bus I began to walk home. It seemed like I was getting home much faster than usual. As I was approaching my door I remembered the only reason I was going to take the bus was because I didn't think I could make it home by walking because I was soo tired and my legs were sore. I began to sing "Never could have made it" by Marvin Sapp. In that moment I knew that it was God's strength that allowed me to make it home. He changed my plans and situation and I was more than happy and excited to experience God in that way. I have been begging (bribing) God for a car for the last 4 years and no matter what it Always falls thru. I know that I will eventually get one but until then I have to continue to praise God no matter how unhappy it makes me to not have a car. Thanks Dephne for this word.

Sometimes I go before God unsure of whether to pray or read scripture and out comes a song. if I feel it bubble up I don't suppress it. I just song with all my heart. I know God hears. Thank you for this word!
