Why Is Everyone Mad At Jasmine?? Confused AF I Summer House Martha's Vineyard S.2 Reunion Recap 

In her interview with Carlos King, Jasmine mentioned that production contacted her to join the show. But then, when Carlos pressed her on how they got in contact with her, she said it was Jordan who put her in contact with production. So, I think a piece of the puzzle is Jordan resenting Jasmine being positioned as the face of the show, and as the "nucleus" of the group who brought everyone together as opposed to her.

Preston was a little messy and honestly it has changed my view of him a little. It seems that Jordan doesn’t like Jasmine and everyone is following Jordan (I.e., Preston, Shanice, etc.,) and excluding her. Preston appears fake

Jasmine cleared the whole panel. Had everyone doing the mute challenge. She asked a direct question, and people couldn't give a straight answer. 🤣🤣🤣

No one can tell me that Jasmine trying to hook her friend up last season and being annoying is worth throwing away a friendship. Mind you Jasmine was trying to navigate a new reality show as a newlywed, also tasked with being the host of the vacay with a demanding/disrespectful husband. Is Jasmine not allowed grace? Forgiveness?! None of that is worth holding over a friend’s head, to the point of not wanting them in your life anymore. Sorry that will never make sense to me, it’s childish and dumb asf. Shanice is annoying when she keeps saying she can be naked or shake her butt in Nick's face, but she feels Nick was wrong to look at her. Like really, who wouldn't look.

I’ve been Jasmine in a friendship with a Jordan. When we were both single, we could talk about how we wanted to get married and try to hook each other up with people, but then when I got married and still tried to be there for my friend because marriage is what we both said we wanted, it became “you think you’re better because you’re married” and “I don’t need a man to be happy.” I think that’s what was happening with Jordan and Jasmine. Jordan was jealous that Jasmine got there before she did and when you’re insecure about something, you tend to make a big deal out of nothing when it comes to it.

I agree with you 💯 on the topic of Jasmine. Shanice is so immature for her age. It’s ok to be a party person but have boundaries. Also, Jordan is a hater and has no reason to not like Jasmine. She gives off bad mind! These women on the show are immature, emotionally unstable and disloyal. Wouldn’t want any of them as friends.

Brooke girl, While we all love Preston, we definitely have to call him out about Jasmine! I watched the way he went on an entire smear campaign against her on every youtuber's channel going up to the reunion and I love how Kempire clocked it as well! Then when we got to the reunion he couldn't tell us what his issue was just like he didn't in those interviews. Sometimes the thing that that sucks about our gay brothers is that they get stuck on "Pretty Politics". This is what I witnessed with Preston. He followed behind Jordan and the the other girl that he considered the bad bitches. The girls followed behind Jordan because she is who they consider to be more popular. Jasmine was clearly the friend that they looked down on and didn't feel like she was as pretty as them , or dressed as nice as them, or was as polished as the rest of them. Jordan definitely did not like the fact that the audience was really drawn to Jasmine or that she was made the nucleus of the show regardless of how annoying she was the first season. The fact that Jasmine actually tried to work out her differences with Jordan at the top of this season and Jordan didn't want to and no one ever addressed it nor was it touched on during the reunion was very telling! I was so happy Jasmine let them have it at the reunion.

Have y'all forgot how annoying Jasmine and Silas were last season... If Jasmine hadn't kicked out Mariah for pushing dog clothes on Bria, she would have had support. But, Jasmine let Summer stay after pushing Bria and Noelle with no consequences.

I miss Silas I enjoyed the marriage dynamic. Preston is condescending and messy, wishes he was Jordan. I clocked him and Jordan last season. It's unfortunate that Preston is coming off as a surprise disappointment. He presents himself as an upfront, outspoken person, but unfortunately, his character has come into question this time. Is he not the president of his chapter? So, for him to downplay his relationship to Silas is not clear. I'm not sure how these things work, but I'm sure there's some decorum to follow.

However this reunion should have been longer . I haven’t finished the recap, but I feel like Shanice has gotten off way too easy for being a wannabe mean girl. She is in EVERY conversation taking shots at people, yet she has a breakdown when she’s called the worst dressed.

If they let Jordan and Bria slide, Summer should get some grace from Alex and Noelle. It seems that Alex and Noelle are bonding over a common enemy.

If there is a season 3 of SHMV they need to clear the air with this issue between Jordan and Jasmine. I’m willing to bet my last dollar that production contacted Jasmine thru Jordan about the show and now Jordan is resenting Jasmine for following thru with the show. Also I feel like the reason the cast doesn’t like Jasmine is because Jordan may have showed some of the cast how the show wanted her first and Jasmine took over in a text, e-mail, or social media. That’s why I feel like they are icing Jasmine out because Jordan made it look like Jasmine stole the show from her. Watch as long as this show continues and the strange beef between Jordan and Jasmine unveils its going to come out. Lol! Great review and I loved the reunion. I wanted another part or an extended reunion. Look...even though some people give Jasmine a hard time, she's my favorite female castmate on the show and I don't like how she's being disrespected by some of the audience and some of the cast. Glad to see Nick is getting more shine... he stuck out to me since season 1. There was a lot that wasn't addressed. I might be in the minority, but I do have a soft spot for poor Summer :(. I hope she improves. I hope this show doesn't mess up friendships for everyone.
